Dirt Bike Training Classes. Do you want to learn how to ride a dirt bike? Or, to ride a dirt bike better?. No matter what your skill level is, we can make you a better rider--from beginners to seasoned riders. Attend one of our scheduled classes or request your own date.

If you don't do anything else, check out this awesome video made of one our students, Cole Forbes, and you get a sneak peek at our riding areas and the museum. I started working with Cole when he was five and now he and my grandson, Seth, both sixteen, are two of the fastest kids around. Charles City Dirt Riders' dirt bike facility is located on 230 acres of land, located in Charles City County, Va. (between Richmond and Williamsburg, VA.) and centrally located near NorthernVirginia, Washington DC, Fredricksburg, Richmond, and Norfolk. It belongs to Bob White, a long-time (50 years) motorcycle enthusiast, a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Dirt Bike School Certified Instructor, competitor and coach. In addition to the motorcycle tracks (three MX tracks, flat track and trails), there is a motorcycle repair shop (Bob's Cycle Barn and Museum). Bob, his daughter, Jesse, The Dirt Bike Girl, live on the farm and help with instruction. Bob needs all the help he can get (just ask anyone), and additional qualified coaches help with every school.

Experiencia fantástica: Took a 2 day training class ahead of a big dirt bike trip to Utah. Hadn't owned a dirt bike in 8 years or so and it was a great refresher. Roger is an awesome instructor showing us many tips and tricks. Had a great time!

Experiencia fantástica: Took my 15yo there for a one day experience and he absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone. We plan on taking our 8yo there next, and I may sign up for lessons myself! Great place and great staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I just completed the 2 day Boot Camp and I must say what an amazing experience! This is a gorgeous property and it is obviously well cared for! The instruction was top notch and I learned so much: hill climbs and descents, standing up, proper body position, braking and even some small jumps! The rental bikes are great, reliable and fun to ride. I had a Honda crf250 and a Yamaha 230. The changing rooms are clean and so are the restrooms. Pizza and unlimited water and gatorade are provided. Lastly, the folks that run this place are so friendly, eager to teach and always encouraging. There is a wealth of deep riding experience and knowledge, so if you attend, try and soak it up! What an absolute gem this place is!

Experiencia fantástica: My son went in able to ride, but without a ton of confidence on his little KLX110 and was zipping around a mini mx track on a full sized CRF 125 by the end of it. The instructor, Jesse was amazing. She's like a kid whisperer. My son learned how to properly position himself on the bike, shift and brake properly, ride standing up, pick up a dropped bike and much more. It was absolutely worth the trip from Ohio and we'll be back again. I can't describe how much safer I feel about riding out on public trails with him now that he's been through such a great training class. As a rider who spent a lot of time on a dirtbike in my youth and am coming back to it after 20 some years, I learned a ton as well. It's located about a 45 minute drive from Williamsburg, all there's plenty of places to stay and things to do after training ends for the day. I highly recommend this school for riders of any skill level or just as a fun family outing. If you're a nerd for old bikes like I am, check out the museum while you're there. There's some super cool bikes inside.
