Experiencia fantástica: I'm so grateful to Ricky and Ann's Driving School. As an adult with a lifelong fear of driving, it felt like an impossible task to overcome. I had never driven a car in my life, and by the end of my first lesson with Ricky I drove us home through the streets of San Francisco - I couldn't believe it! He really helped me overcome my fear and successfully pass my test on the first try. Thank you so much Ricky!

Rita is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging, while Arturo is equally skilled and has a talent for using metaphors that build confidence and enhance the process of becoming a more proficient driver. I took (and passed! ) my driving test with Arturo and couldn’t thank him enough. I highly recommend them both!

She is kind, funny, so positive and grounded. She connected with our then 15 1/2 year old son immediately - he felt comfortable within the first few minutes and Tanya really helped boost his confidence and helped him learn all the most important basics over the course of the 3 two-hour sessions. We are so grateful to Tanya. She helped make dreams come true today when our son passed his driving test - the first try! Thank you so much, Tanya and Ann's Driving School!

Experiencia fantástica: I had great experiences with two instructors at Ann's. Both Tiarra and Ricky were encouraging and the perfect fit to help me get my California license. Both had cars that were great to practice in, and I appreciated that the lesson started out from my home.

But with Eugenia that all changed - she is unbelievably patient, is an amazing teacher and she got me to pass my driving test in my first go. Experiencia fantástica: I just can't express how good of an instructor Jeddy is. He not only truly cares about his students but also teaches them by breaking everything into small steps and explaining it in a very easy way. He was able to give me satisfactory answers to all question I had while driving and gave me extremely useful advise. I would highly recommend him.

Experiencia negativa: Had a drive today with Arturo. While he did give me some useful tips to drive in highways and city, I did not appreciate the tone and slight yelling. Could treat your paying customer with more respect.Will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Tiarra--my driving instructor from Ann's Driving School. She's a WONDERFUL instructor and I had a great learning experience with her. She's very nice, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. She always encourages me to do better, tells me where I did wrong, and patiently answers all of my questions. She always makes sure that I feel comfortable in the car and while driving. It was fun chatting with her too. Both Tiarra and Ann's Driving School were very responsive in answering my questions and scheduling appointments through text messages. On the test day, Tiarra helped review the paperwork, gave me valuable tips, and helped calm me down when I was nervous before the test. I took 6 lessons with her and passed the DMV driving test on the 1st try (YAY!!). I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and support. Once again, I highly recommend Tiarra and Ann's Driving School!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with the instructor Arturo Borges.I have been trying to learn to drive since 2018, and had not been able to control my fear, especially going on freeways. Arturo helped a lot, he was explaining everything, and giving tips on ho to drive in the city. After his classes I was finally able to pass an exam with minimum errors. And started driving since then. Thank you so much, Arturo!

She is also the only person to have ever gotten me to drive on the freeway. After 3 lessons, I passed my driving test and I know I couldn't have done it without her!

Connie's calm and patience , combined with her advanced knowledge of driver behavior and car handling made it very positive experience for me. Connie not only teaches the basic of driving, she teaches awareness and how the car reacts to one's actions under a variety of circumstance. I highly recommend Connie!

Experiencia fantástica: Connie was an extremely patient, flexible, thorough, and knowledgable instructor. I was very nervous to learn how to drive, but she helped me to feel incredibly comfortable behind the wheel. One of the most helpful things about having Connie as my instructor was that she was diligent about teaching me the rules of the road so I could be confident (but not overconfident!!) about my decisions as a driver. I passed my driving test on my first try with almost zero errors thanks to her. I would highly recommend going to Connie to learn how to drive!!

Experiencia fantástica: Ann's driving school is an excellent resource for senior drivers who would like a refresher course before taking their DMV driving test. Connie Wong was prompt at picking my dad up, spent two hours lesson reviewing rules of road and driving the DMV course (2x) with him. Connie took the time to call me after the lesson to give me feedback. The office is quick to respond to emails. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: I called them after a terrible experience with another driving school and with less than a week left to my behind-the-wheel test. I had never driven in the US before and I am a novice driver; They helped me practice all around San Francisco from the get go and specifically for the drive test itself, we also trained an hour or so before the scheduled test - I PASSED (in my 1st attempt - Woohoo!), it's a miracle! Thank you so much to Leo for being empathetic and teaching me so patiently about all the road rules & regulations.

Experiencia fantástica: Mr. Khan is a very nice, funny, patient teacher. He also teaches you how to drive and park in a very easy simple way. Mr. Khan 2.0 is also a great driving instructor.

Experiencia fantástica: The moment I first spoke to Eugenia, I knew that I was going to have a positive experience with Ann driving school. I never met her in person but her voice on the phone was relaxed, professional and sexily authoritative. She set up Ricky to work with me to pass a senior driver road test with DMV and let me use their car for the actual road test. This young asian gentleman was the personification of calm and vigilant guidance. His sense of humor, attention to detail and encouragement helped me to relax under the pressure of the upcoming test which was conducted by a managing dmv officer. Thanks to his patient, confidence-building, preparation I passed with a "good job" remark from the officer on my Road test score sheet! I highly recommend Ann's driving school to anyone from 16 to 75! Well done Ricky and thanks again!

Experiencia negativa: SUMMARY - very rude instructor - rip-off - I went to another school that was a lot cheaper, a lot better. - google "Ann's Driving School review" and you'll find many of similar, negative reviews [INITIAL POST: Jun 29, 2008] I was totally disappointed at Ann's Driving School. My instructor was rude! When I made mistakes, he said "Hey, good morning, do you need a coffee?" (in response to "what do you mean for 'the middle'?") "I don't know how to say that in Japanese!" "(sigh)" "That's terrible." Fortunately, I could find another driving school(*) that was a lot better. Besides their fee was less than half of that of Ann's Driving School. Happily, I could get a driver's license cheap. Even if you give up taking Ann's lessons, you don't have to give up driving. Find other schools. * I don't write their name here because this is not their advertisement. = My Comment on Patricia's Review [Dec 8, 2011] = See my review carefully; I said "When I made mistakes, *he* said..." and so the instructor I mentioned is male. Patricia, I have two questions for you: [ 1 ] Have you tried other driving school(s)? (If not, your comment doesn't make any sense; the term "good" always means "better than something else".) [ 2 ] Do you think it's appropriate and reasonable enough that one of their instructors yells, sighs, says sarcasm during lessons? If you can't believe this shocking story, search with "Ann's Driving School review" and you will see many of similar negative reviews by many of their former students (victims).
