Brown’s Driving School is proud to support a huge leap forward in driver education — you can now take the official Oklahoma Written Knowledge Test online, straight from the Service Oklahoma website!

Note: You will be redirected to a third-party website operated by Service Oklahoma. Any issues with the test should be reported directly to them, not Brown’s Driving School.

Brown’s specializes in bringing students to proficiency across the spectrum of driving needs. Highlighted by our flagship Driver Education program, we also offer many other services including administering the State Driving Test.

Our state-certified Driver’s Education program has been in operation since 1996, and offers flexible drive times with professional instructors (we have over 25 cars available for scheduling, weekend and evening availability, and over 30 instructors).

Our 4 hour Defensive Driving in-classroom lecture course fee is $70 as mandated by the State (cash/money order), and focuses on how to improve driving skills.

“Online Defensive Driving” classes do not remove 2 points off your record. However, our state certified course does remove 2 points off of the student’s driving record.

Some insurance companies offer discounts for taking a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course; ours is designed to reduce the likelihood of accidents by training driver awareness.

Private lessons consist of one and one-half hours in the car with a certified instructor. This course is for students who have an Oklahoma permit or a driver’s license and did not take our driver education course.

Driver Assessment consists of 1 hour in the car with a certified instructor. During the drive, the instructor will evaluate the driving physical and mental capabilities of the customer. After the drive, a letter will be sent to the healthcare professional and/or the customer reporting our evaluation of the drive.

Experiencia fantástica: Browns overall was great, out of 3 kids we only had one issue with one instructor and it was handled so quickly and professionally! I am so glad this is the driving school we chose to go to and highly recommend them!

Experiencia negativa: Worst instructors ever. Go anywhere else except this disgusting place

Experiencia negativa: i’m not gonna name names, but some of these instructors need some more decorum when in the car with younger people. This morning, my cousin proceeded to take a test with one of these instructors and failed (it happens) Expectedly the driving instructor offered classes and such. My cousin proceeded to say money is tight at the moment. Now this is where things went south as the driver proceeded to make a comment about her hair saying “but you have extensions” When that couldn’t be further from the truth. She has been growing out her locks for years and they are quite long, but no matter what hair she has that doesn’t give you the right to assume where she stands financially, as a teenager. I think it’s simple “all right” would have surpassed, but some people do not have the capability of suppressing their very dense thoughts, and empty headed comments.

Experiencia fantástica: Brown's has some great people. The teacher, receptionist, and instructors are very kind and understand that you may be nervous; they know what they're doing. I had Instructor Cedric Ford for 2 of my drives and he put me at ease when I was very nervous. He was informational, helpful, kind and funny. I had a great time and learned a lot. I'd recommend Brown's to anyone.
