Before beginning the licensing process, it is important to understand what is expected of you. The State of Florida uses a graduated driver licensing process, which means you must complete the previous steps before advancing.

After completion of your TLSAE course and the knowledge exam (steps 3 & 4), you may now apply for a Florida Class E Learner’s Permit License. You will need proof of identification and proof of residency in Florida to bring with you to the local tax collector or State Department office. Our students that have already completed steps 3 & 4 do not need an appointment in most locations to obtain the permit.

With some practice behind-the-wheel under your belt you will be ready to take the Florida Class E Road Skills Test, or commonly know as the Road Test. Administered by our certified drivers license examiners our Road Test replaces the State Department road test and upon passing qualifies you for your Class E Drivers License. Don’t forget we offer practice sessions with our examiners prior to the test and we have cars and transportation available for those that need it.

Having passed your Road Test and reached your eligibility day, if you are under 18, its time to get your license! 18+ are already eligible and may go directly after passing the test. Once you take your test with us your results are automatically uploaded in the state system and you then need to take your permit to the local tax collector or State Department office. Make sure you pick out a nice shirt, do your hair, and say cheese! You will be getting a new picture for your final License! Don’t forget our post license courses for specialty driving including manual shift training.

Experiencia negativa: This company is a scam! I have been waiting for a refund since 2022. I paid almost 700 dollars with no service from them. Do Not fall for the scam.

Experiencia negativa: THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES! I PAID ALMOST $300 AND THEY NEVER TOOK ME ON THE ROAD. THEY WON’T EVEN REFUND ME MY MONEY! THEY DON’T ANSWER THEIR PHONES NOR ANSWER THEIR EMAILS!

Experiencia negativa: They have closed the Tallahassee office but they say they can provide the lessons out of their Niceville office. However, working with office staff is unbelievably difficult. Pros: Tremaine the driving instructor in Tallahassee is great. Cons: the people in the in office have no idea what they are doing. After three weeks of trying I finally got a lesson scheduled for today. 20 minutes after the lesson was supposed to start and after not getting through to the office I calledTremaine directly. He let me know that he does not have a vehicle at the moment and cannot give lessons. He had no vehicle at the time the lessons were scheduled and won’t have one for another several days. I will need to contact the office to get the first two lessons rescheduled. communication is frustratingly difficult. I have had a hard time getting to answering machines that are not full and getting people to return calls and emails. Finally, the actual driving test at the end of the lessons takes place in niceville with a different instructor and vehicle. That is a full day trip. Itis not worth the amount I paid for the “convenience” of having the test being done by the company with a “familiar” person and vehicle.

Experiencia negativa: Beware they take your money you can’t speak to anyone, and we go for the test we prepaid for and Tallahassee location is closed and not listed on their website as a location doing business now. No call no refund for what we prepaid for. This is the worst driving school I’ve ever seen. If they open again beware! If anyone else has been scammed I recommend filing with BBB and taking them to court to get refunded.
