DC Dirt Camp teaches you not only to ride, but will help you gain confidence resilience; traits that prepare you to face life on life’s terms. We are a dirt bike training school with classes for kids & adults as well monthly Adventure bike training. Off-road motorcycle instruction is our passion!
Founded in 2018, DC Dirt Camp aims to help students not only learn to ride, but also to gain confidence and practice resiliance; character traits that will prepare students to face life on life’s terms.
We are conveniently located about an hour from Washington, D.C. at the intersection of Interstate 66 and Interstate 81 in the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
DC Dirt Camp is a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) sponsored and American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) chartered Dirt Bike and Adventure bike Training School in the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We introduce both new and seasoned riders to the dirt, and will increase your skills so that you can properly and safely enjoy dirt biking or Adventure riding!
If you have never used a motorcycle clutch, or haven’t been off road, and think you might be into it, come to DC Dirt Camp and learn to let the back end loose on one of our small displacement dirt bikes. No need to buy all the gear, we provide everything you need. We have Honda CRFs ranging from 125-250cc, helmets, gloves and pads. We teach kids, adults, men and women.
Do you get anxious taking your Adventure or Dual-sport bike off tarmac? We've got classes for that too! We strongly suggest students start with our Level 3, Clutch-Capable class where we provide the dirt bike. Follow that class the following day in our BYO big bike Intro to Adventure class. We provide the terrain, the training, the support and the s'mores!

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I have had the pleasure of attending two classes in the last 30 days. The first was the basic dirt bike class, and yesterday I took the Adv bike class (on my bike). I have learned so much from these classes, and will now focus on practice what I have learned. The location and coaches provided the right amount of challenging drills to develop the skills for off road riding.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: BJ does a great job of teaching the fundamentals of dirt bike riding. I took the Level 2 course and it provided the training I needed to improve my skills. BJ works through a skill building process from the beginning to keep everyone challenged. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: DC Dirt was a great time. I’ve take the Clutch Capable class twice now. What I really love about this school is how riding dirt is brocken down into the basic fundamentals. As class progresses, you build on and combine those fundamentals into sound riding principles. After taking these classes, I feel way more comfortable/confident in myself riding on dirt. BJ is an excellent instructor who can teach sound fundamentals, but at the same time, use real world examples of why and how they’re used.
