Experiencia negativa: I got a call from this school telling me I couldn’t take my drivers test because my knowledge test had been expired and I had need to retake it even though my permit license hadn’t expired till sometime in May of this year. Honestly that bummed me out and ruined my mood quickly, so I therefore canceled the test and I thought it would all be over… wrong ! I had realized I hadn’t gotten my refund back after I had canceled my test and so I call them today and I asked when will I get my money back and they said I need to file a refund from them and that there was a 55 dollar fine if your refund the canceled test or basically anything you try to cancel with them! Mind you they tried to make me just take the knowledge after I had paid 87 bucks for that drivers test ain’t no way a knowledge test cost that much I went somewhere else and it was much cheaper and better service. So I do not recommend coming here to take anything unless you want your money being taken away! (P.s. I had cancel on the same day I had scheduled the test and they called me that exact same day and told me the news! So I had canceled before their cancelation policy but they sure damn need to put this other policy next to that they refund your money if you cancel ahead of time!)

Experiencia positiva: It gets the job done, I passed my exam. OK instructors with pros and cons of each. If you need to learn fast, no chance to stick with one instructor only. The cars are just two Civics, too small for me to operate safely. And they were always dirty inside.

Experiencia negativa: This will be the worst driving school and will not recommend people to take the exam at this school they are a bad team ever with disrespectful behavior towards students and asking about staff they don’t really need to know Since I have got there to take the exam the old guy who gave the exam results where talking me totally with a disrespectful attitude and behavior and not expected frown that old man !!!!!

As my daughter took her drivers test, the instructor gave her 10 minutes, because he “had other appointments” therefor she did not even get to test most of the skills that are required. He also claimed me she ran a red light because she “didn’t completely stop before she turned on red”. When she said that she watched the speedometer and saw that she had come to a complete stop, she asked the instructor whether or not he even saw what the speedometer said. He replied “I didn’t see it, I just felt like you didn’t”. Overall, horrible experience.

She’ll calmly guide you through those nerve-wracking left turns, ensuring you conquer them with finesse. Remember that time you hesitated at a four-way stop? Micaella turned it into a teachable moment, unraveling the mysteries of right-of-way like a pro. * Brook: Lane merges? Brook’s got you covered. His mantra: “Merge like you’re merging into greatness.” And let’s not forget his signature move—the “smooth lane change.” It’s like butter on hot asphalt. * Alaina: Downtown one way and pedestrian hectic roads?! She will guide you through it so calmly and with confidence! I hated driving in downtown until I went on a few rides with her! Trust me when I say this because I have tried short packages to taste the waters with other driving schools in WA and they don’t come close to Safety First! Worth every penny!

They have a very good web management system to schedule classes, they offer very affordable packages comparatively and Lake City is a nice area to learn driving too. Shout out to my instructor, Laura for being so patient and helpful. Very nice people and they do their job like absolute pros. Suggestion for improvement: If you can introduce a notification system for others to book when someone cancels their appointment, that'd be amazing.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve had two horrible instructors who have demonstrated no compassion or patients. The first while I was still a student and the other after I had held my license for less than a week. The first instructor yelled and made me feel bad about doing driving slowly. I WAS 15 AND HAD DRIVEN FOR LESS THAN 2 MONTHS. The second instructor simply did not know how to teach. She was unclear and constantly contradicted herself. She made me feel like I didn’t know anything and kept making me doubt my abilities. Her “teaching method” consists of shaming you into being a considerate driver. I was told I deserve to be tailgated and that I was a bad leader (code for bad driver). I was in tears and panicking during a lesson ON THE FREEWAY and still had to drive all the way to the site. The stress was so intense I could barely see through my tears and I went non-verbal. At the end I was in tears and she told me “Today made me feel like I am a bad teacher and I should quit my job and find another.” She blamed her emotions on me. She made me feel bad about being frustrated. She placed guilt on me for causing her to rethink her career. Top notch manipulation If your teen has any anxiety or is in therapy, please look somewhere else. They clearly have no idea how dangerous triggered mental health is on the road. If you have any mental health issues, it will be triggered here.

They are super customer friendly and knowledgeable. They help answer any questions that you might have and the classes covered all of the basics. Thank you Safety First!

Experiencia fantástica: Had to sit a driving & written test after driving for 17 years and moving from scotland. This place was great. Super efficient and relatively cheap. My I structor was a nice guy, can't remember his name, but could see I was a good driver and we headed back to the center a bit earlier than I would think for a new driver which was good.

Experiencia fantástica: Alaina is a knowledgeable, calm, and patient instructor. Laura is okay and a bit too energetic and impatient. The office is very responsive and accommodative to student’s questions and requests.

I purchased the 8 - 90 minute lessons as an adult driver with them as someone who had some hands-on experience with driving yet with no personal car. I worked with Laura most classes and she is great instructor. She was easy-going, professional and friendly. She was very patient with me and addressed my mistakes to ensure I drove safely and confidently. It was definitely a challenge attending the classes as I worked full-time yet was worth the time :) Thank you for teaching me, now I feel better about driving in busy cities :D

I am very grateful that they were able to accommodate me with driving lessons within a short notice especially during their busy schedule . This helped me get my driving license in a short amount of time in my first attempt. BTW, All the instructors were knowledgeable and made learning this skill easier than I have anticipated. I would suggest taking driving test at this location instead of their lake city way location just because the roads in shoreline are much less complicated compare to the ones near their lake city way location.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter completed her driving lessons through Safety First in Lake City and her testing in Shoreline. Both sites are simple and clean and easy to find. Her instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. They had high standards and though our daughter made mistakes and did not pass the first time she took her test, the instructors carefully explained her mistakes to her and to me when I asked for clarification. She has commented multiple times on the fact that she had more involved instruction than her friends who took classes at other driving schools. My husband and I appreciate Safety First's dedication to safety and thorough testing.

I had driving test at 8am Sunday but I went to the wrong address in Aurora ( same school) and of course I couldn’t make it for the test but the examiner called me and he arranged another time for me to take the test in the same day and later I knew that it was his lunch time when he tried to reschedule for me. He could have been picky and asked me to re-apply and pay again but he did still accommodate. And I passed. Definitely. Really appreciate!!

Experiencia fantástica: There are many choices out there for driver training. After my extensive research online and over the phone I decided to go with Safety First Driving School. Why I decided to go with them? Simply search the information on their website which is comprehensive and above all user friendly. Later, I called their office and they continued to answer my question even after their closing time. Their classroom environment is neat and pleasant. Other local driving schools are missing the important elements of experience, neatness and customer service. I was immensely impressed by the driving instructor's knowledge. He analyzed my driving and discussed my strengths and weaknesses. He advised me with tips on improving my skills. Mr. Brook was my instructor and I would say without hesitation that he is sincere to his profession and safety of his staff and students.
