Experiencia negativa: I just singed up today and started it 12Mar2025 and the course is completely outdated and after starting it and verifying my personal information they locked me out and now it wants me to redo it- not happening They can’t even count from 1-12 check it out

Experiencia negativa: Do not purchase this program I completed 80% of this boring program it was asked to complete a verification about my own personal information that I enter correctly only for them to lock my account and tell me I had to start over after sitting for hours through this mundane videos. The other reviewer stated this is a scam I should have listened to them. Then when you reach out to customer service nobody contacts you back don't waste your money and your time do something else

Experiencia fantástica: Was very easy to use. A bit outdated but simple to use. The Certificate came within 10 business days. I tried using AAA but the pages wouldn’t turn and it kept getting stuck. I would strongly recommend this service but you need to use a newer computer I believe for it to work properly.

Experiencia negativa: As everyone else says in the reviews, you'll want to avoid this program. Personally, I'm not sure if it is a scam, but the experience is certainly irritating and unreasonable. In NY (and I'm assuming other states), there is a verification process that is essentially in place to make sure that no one else is doing the course for you. You are prompted to answer personal questions and type random verification messages at the beginning of each chapter. If you fail this verification 5 times, your progress starts over (which could be hours of progess). Again, I can't confirm that this is a scam, but if not this verification system is definitely terrible. I have followed the verification instructions perfectly and the system still states that I have failed. This already happened twice on two separate devices, thus wasting hours of my time. I hope I am able to get a refund.

I took the courses through delight driving, you could stop the course whenever & pick it up again when you get the chance exactly where you left off on. Was very easy to use & manage, had no problems using the website or completing the course.

You are continually prompted to type in a phrase so that they can authenticate that its you taking the course through your key strokes and after completing 53% and returning the following day to finish the test the system rejected my key strokes, locked me out and I had to retake the test all over again and the problem still persist after restarting the the test this course is a complete waste of money and time.

They keep blocking me saying I'm failing verification by my TYPING STROKE after I answer the legitimate verification questions correctly. All these lock outs forcing me to start over in less than a 12hr period while I'm using not only the same device never having logged out the entire time but it's my own personal cell phone ‍♀️this is clearly set up to waste the consumer's time. I'm turning to the better business bureau for help next, because this is as unfair as it is RIDICULOUS!

They took my money then locked me out of my course when I was half way thru it and then refused to refund me after not being able to come to a conclusion. Oh and their customer service is about as poor as it comes. I've been hung up on 4 times

The worst part is; it claimed I didn’t enter the correct information when I obviously did; and locked me out. Thus requesting me to take the entire course all over after spending over five hours of my precious day. My fault; I should have read the reviews before purchasing this course. A total scam. Run! Stay away from this! You have been warned!

Experiencia negativa: Well... you get what you pay for. This cheap course has already wasted 8 hours of my life and I'm not even done yet (it's supposed to be a 6 hour course lol). If you have a lot of time on your hands and don't mind redoing modules 3 times for no reason, then this course is made for you! I'm giving 2 stars only because with a discount I only spent $25. I better be getting my 10% off car insurance - especially considering I'm being tortured by I Drive Safely

Experiencia negativa: I have taken about a dozen online courses the the past 18 months and this is by far the poorest quality. The information is tedious and uninformative. I was really hoping to learn something but there was virtually nothing useful. Got me my 15% insurance discount but was a terrible educational experience. Delaware should be ashamed to promote this course. The statistics were 10 years old and the animation looked to be produced in the 1990’s.

If you had issues its probably because you messed up or somehow forgot your verification stuff. Because everything worked out super great for me! Definitely recommend

Experiencia negativa: The course was fine but I had issues getting my certificate. Their system said I had completed the course Dec 29. I contacted them because I was receiving emails stating that I had a few days to finish my course. I received an email on Jan 2 from a support person stating the I would be receiving my certificate in 5-7 business days and I had completed the course. It is now February and I still don’t have my certificate. I complained 4 times and finally my issue was handled - Probably the complaint I filed with my credit card company got someone’s attention. Last week I was told my certificate is in the mail and my account was credited for the amount I paid. The completion date was marked the end of January so I have lost a month of discount on my insurance but hopefully I am done with this aggravation.

Experiencia fantástica: I used this site twice 2014 and 2018 , its not easy lots a reading and video watching my experience was different from most , I sit for 6 hrs. and was so hungry had to call then , I thought I had complete the course the same day , but it was not SO.., i could do the rest each day for 30 days, I learn a lot after I finally finish... I pass I was so much a better driver, better than going to the 5 hours class . Now am reading all these negative reviews , what happen here.... it sound awful maybe its new management, now i was about to sign up... and start the course , but am afraid from reading the reviews , new search begin why me....

Experiencia negativa: These people are thieves. Their system told me that PayPal was not available to use for sign up at this time. I used my credit card and it said there was an error. I tried again and it did the same thing. A couple minutes later, i get an alert from the credit card company that idrivesafely charged me twice for $24.95. I called them (on a Monday, at 1pm) and the voice message says that I have reached them after hours!! TOTAL SCAM!!! Do not trust these people!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Started at 11am and finished around 5 pm. Very easy. Played the audio version while I did some other things. Took the quizzes. I think a lot of people are upset because of the verification process. It is very personal and asks questions only the person taking the exam will know. Don’t pay someone to do this exam because they will fail the verification and really is worth it to know the knowledge for yourself so you don’t get any more points on your license.

Experiencia negativa: I'm about to take the exam on the 6th lesson, I called the 844 number put in all the correct info, got verification and was told I could continue.... but nothing loads. I've don't this four times already..I'm now trying to find a phone number where I can talk with someone. There is a message on the 844 number that says you can talk to someone if you press the star key followed by the pound key, I tried it and got a message saying I don't understand and then it hangs up. Complete waste of time and money.

Experiencia negativa: I took the defensive driving course online. The voice verification screwed me when it was 90% complete. Apparently I sound different then I did 3 days ago. After two failed attempts you need to start the entire course over. It's not even about the money, they gave me a full refund. Don't waste your time the same way they wasted mine.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter and I signed up together. You must work alone on separate computers. During each chapter, they have you stop twice and call a number for voice verification. After 8 long hours, I passed and my daughter FAILED THE VOICE VERIFICATION. She called 16 times from the same phone with the same voice and FAILED! She called to complain and they did nothing to help her. They guarantee you pass. BALONEY! Don't waste your time or money. I will badmouth this place to everyone!

Experiencia positiva: By taking the course offered, I saved a significant amount of money on my car insurance (especially because I had received my first ever speeding ticket shortly beforehand). On that basis alone, I'd recommend I Drive Safely. However, don't bother referring a friend because you won't get the promised gift card. My husband used the referral link that was sent to him and I still didn't get the card. When I contacted I Drive Safely, I was basically told that it used an outside company for referrals and that they wouldn't get involved EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE THE ONES THAT MADE THE MISREPRESENTATION REGARDING THE REFERRAL, not the outside company. It's a rip off, so don't fall for it.

Experiencia negativa: The company makes you pay $22 Extra to get the defensive driving Certificate delivered to you , i didn't want to pay the Extra $22 for one day delivery fee , my certificate was "lost in the mail " . I called them 2 weeks after i took the defensive driving course to see where my certificate was i was told it was sent but since i didn't receive it i would need to pay for the overnight $22 so they can send another certificate this is a SCAM STAY AWAY !!
