Brown’s Driving School is proud to support a huge leap forward in driver education — you can now take the official Oklahoma Written Knowledge Test online, straight from the Service Oklahoma website!

Brown’s specializes in bringing students to proficiency across the spectrum of driving needs. Highlighted by our flagship Driver Education program, we also offer many other services including administering the State Driving Test.

Our state-certified Driver’s Education program has been in operation since 1996, and offers flexible drive times with professional instructors (we have over 25 cars available for scheduling, weekend and evening availability, and over 30 instructors).

Our 4 hour Defensive Driving in-classroom lecture course fee is $70 as mandated by the State (cash/money order), and focuses on how to improve driving skills.

“Online Defensive Driving” classes do not remove 2 points off your record. However, our state certified course does remove 2 points off of the student’s driving record.

Some insurance companies offer discounts for taking a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course; ours is designed to reduce the likelihood of accidents by training driver awareness.

Private lessons consist of one and one-half hours in the car with a certified instructor. This course is for students who have an Oklahoma permit or a driver’s license and did not take our driver education course.

Driver Assessment consists of 1 hour in the car with a certified instructor. During the drive, the instructor will evaluate the driving physical and mental capabilities of the customer. After the drive, a letter will be sent to the healthcare professional and/or the customer reporting our evaluation of the drive.

Experiencia negativa: Annette fox was very rude to me I asked a couple questions and would rudely interrupted me every time I would ask her something and would answer me rudely I didn’t appreciate it :(

Experiencia fantástica: When I took their basic drivers course in 2019, I’ll admit I was less than impressed due to the overall lack of instruction. However, I recently took their MSF-endorsed motorcycle course and was beyond impressed. The instructors were very kind while still being serious and genuinely cared about the students’ safety and success. I 100% recommend the motorcycle course.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional and relatable to my teen. My daughter learned so much. Def buy the package that includes the test and the extra drives. It was simple and easy on the parent side with that package.

Experiencia fantástica: SUPERB driving school. Phenomenal classes, professional drivers/teachers that thoroughly prepare you for the permit and driving test. Having professional driving teachers come pick you up to help you practice your driving is significantly more beneficial than only practice with parents/21+ because the driving teachers have a vast amount knowledge and always keep up to date on it. My son went there and had his license on his 16th birthday. I went to Brown’s in 2007, so I’ve been driving for 16 years now. I still remember specific details I learned at Brown’s. I got my permit exactly six months before my 16th birthday, so when I was 15.5. Therefore, I was able to get my license on my 16th birthday. Exact date. Passed both first try. Thank you all at Brown’s Driving School for providing effective classes for decades.
