My daughter's driving instructor (Philadelphia Professional Driving School) recommended she take her road test at John's. My daughter passed her driving test on her first attempt. John's Testing Center stamped her permit. We took her permit to the DMV on the SAME DAY. My daughter was given her camera card, took her picture, and received her drivers license on the same day. Thanks Philadelphia Professional Driving School and John's Testing Center!

He was REALLY accurate in giving me directions. I DO NOT recommend you taking your test at the Penndot. There useless. I highly recommend Jhon’s Driving School. It’s worth EVERY penny. The prices are reasonable and very affordable. I passed my test today. I was recommended by a friend to take my test here. As long as you know basic driving and you know a bit of parallel parking, you should be absolutely fine. I recommend to practice your parallel parking before you take the test. You must NOT be out of the white box. The Parallel parking site testing is big enough for you to get your car perfectly in. I used Jhon’s Car and it was absolutely easy to drive. I haven’t used anyone’s car besides my dad and I didn’t want to give the test in my dads car because it was to big. The Jhon’s car was really easy to drive as well. Again, as long as you know basic driving, you should be fine in ANY car!

I unfortunately wasn't able to do my road test until 2024 and even though it was 4 years later, John's driving school honored my original driving package and let me take the road test with them without any troubles or extra fees! Also the examiner made me feel very comfortable which helped me stay calm/focused.

Before coming, I had failed 3 road test at PennDot, I was very upset because I knew I could drive, I was just unlucky I did my test with an examiner (at PennDot) that wasn’t friendly and was really bad at giving directions… I didn’t want to wait another month to schedule an appointment with PennDot, so I decided to explore options and I’m so grateful I found John’s DS! I was able to schedule an appointment in just 2 days!! BEST DECISION EVER! and let me tell you, what a difference, the location very convenient, my examiner was extremely nice and very professional, I did my first road test and passed! the examiner was very clear with instructions from the very beginning, also he made me feel very secure while I was driving, something that never happened at PennDot. For anyone who’s thinking or looking for options to do driving test or even taking driving classes, I 100% recommend John’s Driving School, they are the best and once again I feel so happy and satisfied with the full experience they provided.

Experiencia negativa: Just had to deal with one of these teachers in Warminster PA. Absolutely awful, if you want to learn how to drive don’t take advice from these guys. The instructor was sitting at a green light on his phone, people behind me were honking and I honked and when he finally left he brake checked me waving his hands, drove into the middle lane then waited to curse me out. If that’s an instructor idk what they’re going to teach your loved one.

You can do the test in their car, they are PennDot certified, driving examiners are excellent and make you feel comfortable sontoundontbhave the nerves while doing the exam. There is a PennDott located conveniently 5 minutes away so once you pass your exam you can go there and pick your license the same day! 10/10 recommend

Experiencia negativa: I took a lesson back in 2021, the instructor was very impatient and made me very nervous. I had lessons canceled and had to wait 6 weeks to reschedule. I recently took lessons at another school took 4 lessons, instructor was great n passed my driving test the first time.

Experiencia fantástica: Despite failing the exam the first time I took it, my experience with John’s was great! My examiner Julie was calm, insightful, and reassuring and gave me some great tips and things to work on. When I came back to take the exam the second time, I felt so much more confident and calm and I passed! The office was very organizer and all of the staff was very kind and efficient.

Experiencia negativa: I am a driver with 13 years of experience and an international driver’s license. I scheduled my road test at John’s as it was the closest testing center to my house, and I don’t own a car so I was forced to pick a third party testing provider that also provides a car. I ended up failing two road tests - the first one was because part of the testing route was a left turn in an intersection, where the lane I was supposed to land was so narrow that it looked like a bicycle lane and I ended up picking the opposite lane, which lacked any road signs of do not enter or wrong way, I thought that the examiner asked me to turn where there was no left turn at all because this lane was so easy to miss, but after the test I checked it on Google street view and realized there was an actual lane there. It’s totally my fault, but on the other hand it could be easily prevented if the school would have providing a “warm up test” service, just to get a taste of the actual test beforehand. The second road test went well but at the last turn back to the school parking lot there was a car that pulled over in the middle of the road exactly where I was supposed to turn and after I passed him and tried to turn left, the examiner “got the impression” that I wouldn’t make it so she pulled the brake and, even though it was totally safe to turn, I got failed because of “examiner intervention”. These 2 failures didn’t reflect anything about my actual skills but cost me 300$ I ended up passing the 3rd test at a different institution that was cheaper and provided me with proper test prep for less than the cost of a single road test at John’s. I am leaving two stars because I did get feedback about what I did wrong after both tests, but I would pick a different service provider in retrospect.

Experiencia negativa: They failed me because the instructor not properly informed me about the left turn and told me again and again little ahead. I thought he was talking about next signal it was miscommunication from the instructor as i asked her again and she told yes ahead. How dose it comes under critical errors? They took 150 dollar and i am an student and i have to work on campus for a complete week to earn that money. They told I didn’t follow the route that they have decided.I have seen videos where people have passed it after some point dedication. After coming back they were advertising their learning lesson, seems like they want us to take it. I have been driving back in my home town for last 3 year and never received even a citation.

Experiencia fantástica: Great seamless process from signing up on-line to taking the road test. PennDots wait was too long, they booked me in to test quite quickly. Once I got there, the friendly lady behind the desk helped me by going over the controls of their car before the actual test. I appreciated that. And even thought I'm a seasoned driver, (which the testor acknowledged right away), I was still nervous!! He, Jason, had a super easy demeanor which helped to calm my nerves. His directions were clear, and he encouraged questions when I was confused about what he was asking me to do. Imagine my surprise at finding out during the exam that he was the owner! Pretty cool. All in all a really good experience. I'll have my young drivers come here for their road test.

Her 1st time she failed at the DMV due to being really nervous and messing up the parallel parking. But, this time around after lots of practice, Julie her instructor at John's calmed her nerves and reassured her. She passed with flying colors. We used John's vehicle and what an ease of driving My daughter said it was. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes. The facility on Front Street in Philadelphia was organized and courteous. The woman behind the desk was also very kind and friendly. I would NEVER recommend going to the DMV for testing again! This is the place to go! Top notch-high class-organized and efficient! Well worth every penny! Do yourself and anyone testing- Go to John's Driving School- It takes the headache and anxiety out of passing your road test!!!!

I know he gained the skills he needs to be a safe driver in a number of settings and not just the basics required to pass the exam. He learned so much and gained the confidence he needed. Experiencia fantástica: I took my road test today at site 75024. Anthony was wonderful and the young lady that checked me in was very helpful as well. Anthony administered my test. He was very kind, clear and concise. He made sure that I heard him clearly and that I understood what I was doing each step of the way. After each instruction, he asked me if I had any questions and told me I could start when I was ready and to take my time. I know that might seem really insignificant but it was very reassuring. I honestly felt like he really wanted to make sure I was comfortable and ready to go and that I didn’t rush through and make a mistake. Thank you guys for everything, it was a wonderful experience and truly appreciate the care you took with me.

Experiencia negativa: I took lessons in Philadelphia. The coach was not helpful and was extremely unprofessional. Kept yelling at me despite me informing him that I am a beginner and have no access to a car for practice. He expected me to start driving like a professional from the very start. I hope the company understands the predicament of students with such instructors. I am more confused and afraid to drive and had to cancel my road test as I lost confidence. I will not recommend taking lessons in Philadelphia from this coach.

We showed up early for the appointment, went around back and took the test, no lines. The tester was clear and pleasant and made us feel extremely comfortable. English is our second language and we were treated as good customers with freindly professionalism! The camera card came in the mail 3 days later! Made the test so less stressful. The parking space was clearly marked unlike the DMV. There are lines that you must be within and there is no guessing if your in the allotted space. The staff made the trip easier with their kindness. Defiantly with the money for the exam.
