I practiced with this car but the professor told me that in the driving test I will getting a new model car, same but new however I used the same. If it is supposed to be a driving school why they use those cars with hard steering, I would not recommend them and would give them a bad rating. Terrible service!

Experiencia fantástica: Hello everyone well my experience is a little different and I am gonna tell you why I started driving with a different driving school and that driving school only teach me two important lessons that was to drive and a three point turn so I felt like I was just wasting my time and money on this school that was it so I decided to look for a another driving school and that’s where I find Metro Driving School and I am so glad I did because i meant Peter my sponsor and I started learning lessons with him where he taught me parallel park and to back up to where I didn’t know before and so I got comfortable enough to book the road test and I was able to pass the exam I will specially want to thanks Peter for his work hard and he’s patient and he’s humor for making this experience once that I will never forget so again thank you Peter I highly recommend this driving school for anyone wanting a good sponsor

When money was sent to them by Venmo, they said it was sent to the wrong account. After contacting Venmo, it was confirmed that the account belonged to the driving school. Only pay them after services are provided. If they refuse, find a new driving school. Please don't make the same mistake.

Prior to enrolling with them, I had experiences with two other driving schools where the instructors displayed apathy and kept their distance. However, in every session with Dan and Wolin at Metro Boston Driving School, they were courteous and actively involved. Thanks to their instruction, my driving skills improved significantly, and I successfully passed my driving test with confidence.

However, the management is very stingy and forgetful. You have to contact them often to make sure they have scheduled your appointments or they will take your money and forget about you.

I scheduled the test myself and was pleased to find that they were able to book a car for me, even though my test was just two days away. Their pricing was reasonable, and I appreciated that they didn't charge any extra fees for scheduling the road test within a week. During the road test, I had Peter as my sponsor. He picked me up from Malden and drove me to the Watertown location, where my test was scheduled to take place. She is very patient and reply the message quickly. Peter taught me how to drive. He is very professional and detailed-driven, with his help, I got ideas about how to drive safely and smoothly. Experiencia negativa: PLEASE DON'T GO. I failed twice with this driving school. The main person who was in charge, Ann Li, she was so patient before I paid but was so (x10000times) RUDE after I paid. I had a lot of driving experience outside the US (I drove in Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, China...) and also in the US with my permit, and she blamed me for "not practicing enough." Ridiculous. Also she said she would schedule a practice session for me, but she never did. I had to ask her sooooooo many times and she didn't reply. Finally when she replied (that was one day before my road test), she said there was no session available. What is wrong with this woman??? Save your money and your piece of mind and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Experiencia negativa: Bad experience on ALL aspects: unprofessional scheduling experience (cash/zelle only, rude staff and doesn't answer emails); driving instructor doesn't cover all that's tested on exam. I should have listened to the reviews before coming here, I know people who have failed 3+ times with this school - they have extremely low pass rates as they don't schedule your exam at a proper RMV and instead schedules with one of their "designated" RMV examiners, who is very difficult and makes up absurd reasons to fail you. The school's sponsor also does not support you during your exam as they are friends with the examiner.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 stars, I would. The pass rates for this school is very low, I think only 2 people out of 10 in my batch passed that day. There are key elements of the exam that were not taught in my lessons, resulting in the examiner questioning that I had 0 road experience going to the exam. Oh and, the sponsor they give you to do the road test talks repeatedly to the examiner during your test, and if you did minor mistake, they will also yell at you, resulting in your fail. Very unprofessional throughout - it's shocking they are still in business. Don't waste your money here.

Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to Metro Boston Driving School for helping me pass my road test at Braintree today I would recommend the school for anyone needing driving lessons and / or a road test sponsor. It was pretty easy to set up lessons either via phone or in the office. They were responsible and on time for all lessons (I had maybe like 6/7 lessons), and always texted me the day of the lessons in the morning to remind me. During our lessons, they focused on the info / advice I needed to pass the test. The car and the location were comfortable. All the people I interacted with were great. You can pay individual lessons, unlike other driving schools that asked you to buy a package of lessons. And I always came with cash. If you are planning on learning during the summer, keep in mind that it’s busy season so you should book things with time. Try them out, it’s worth it!

Experiencia positiva: I schedule class with Ann and took class with Wolin. Ann can be a little hectic from time to time but is a very nice person overall and is ready to help. Wolin is a pretty good and young instructor. I think he will become a better instructor with time as his teaching styles matures, i.e. to be more communicative and conducive. Being a pretty old and established business, their system and way of operating may be a little old fashioned. But overall, this is decent driving school and everyone is really trying to help students. A suggestion I have may be to improve the class scheduling system. Right now scheduling and keeping track of which seems to be done purely manually.

I had no driving experience but did drive in parking lot with a friend in parking lot for a few hours before taking lessons at Metro Boston. Peter definitely knows everything you need to know for road test and will have you practice the exact same routine that you will do during your test. i think even if you think you drive well, it's worth taking a class to prep for the test.

Experiencia fantástica: Had the biggest aversion to driving, as an anxious driver I didn’t know if I could do it (in Downtown/Chinatown no less) since I had no prior experience, but my instructor gave me the confidence to operate a vehicle from the very first lesson. In a matter of 2 months I took several lessons with Dan who was patient, friendly and informative. Booked my road test this past weekend and passed on the first try, special shout-out to Peter and Woldin for my last two lessons before my exam w/ highway practice. Very much recommend! Experiencia negativa: I called this driving school the morning of 4/2/21 and asked them if they had any openings. They said yes, and I scheduled for over a week away, (the weekend of 4/9 and 4:11). I asked them if they accepted cash, they said yes, and we hung up. Immediately after the phone call ended, I was being harassed to send the payment through Zelle or Venmo. After reading the reviews on here, I decided I would pay cash instead, because I read they would take your money and cancel on you, so I thought I’d play it safe. When this business texted me, asking me to pay upfront right away, I was at work, but they insisted they needed the cash NOW, since my driving classes weren’t scheduled, just “reserved”. I didn’t have the chance to respond before they said they removed me from their schedule. I’m glad I listened to my gut and didn’t pay upfront, now seeing how money hungry they are, after not even 24 hours after contacting them.

Just listen to what they tell you, don't be difficult, and you'll be alright. Everyone was polite and punctual. The examiner, while firm, was also polite and helpful with feedback. They take the precautions to have each student use sanitizer and sanitizer wipes to clean up before you start to drive. Dan and Freddy and the two of the instructors I can approve that they are both chill. They both gave me useful tips about my parallel parking and overall driving on the road. I passed my road test last week and want to give a shout out to the gentleman whose name I forgot to allow me to parallel park again after I had messed up the first time. P.S. I had drove previously before attending to driving school but I will say the instructors help prepare you to be out on the road with other people. I would recommend anyone looking forward an affordable option to practice driving and preparing for the road test!

The coordination was great, scheduling was easy, and they covered everything I needed to know to pass my road test very well (yes, I did pass).

They told me that they will help me to register a road test, when I got to the test spot (which is not even RMV) they told me that I was unable to take the road test due to some mistake that was clearly made by them. Then, they pushed all fault on me, and asked me for more money. This place was truly uncomfortable and made me felt trapped. Would give them a zero if I can!

Experiencia negativa: First of all, let me just say Freddy was great. He was patient with me as a nervous driver. He gave me confidence when I did not have much. Those two stars are for him. However, I would give the school 0 stars overall. I booked a few lessons with Freddy and a sponsor for my road test in Watertown. On the day of the test, we drove to Watertown and waited for an hour doing nothing. Instructor didn’t even talk to us. He just went on his phone the whole time. I ended up failing and all I got from the school was a “sorry.” Nothing about working with me to help me pass next time. They got their money and didn’t care what happened after that. I am definitely not coming there again.

Experiencia negativa: I was happy with the classes I took and my instructor. But on my road test day, they told me to arrive at Ashmont Station at 5.20pm while the school's car came to pick me up on 6.50pm. I waited for 90 mins and they didn't have any explanation nor apology. Very bad experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I understand that experience may vary - my very own is definitely positive, although I only hired a sponsor&car for the road test. Even though I opted only for the basic package, the instructor drove with me around the blocks and gave tips for the exam itself. They also had good advice and knew all the important tricks - which DMV to choose, what time to come, etc. While they may have not been best in terms.of communication, I think they did really well at what mattered most - making sure.that my exam chances are increased.

Experiencia negativa: Bottom line: avoid this place by all means; otherwise, be prepared to fight them. - Arbitrarily cancelled scheduled road tests without notice; only to be notified on site. Some other people got phone calls out of blue to come to take road tests WITHIN AN HOUR while it was pouring outside, yet their road test was originally scheduled for the next day. - Penalized/price-gouged students for no-show at driving classes when they themselves couldn't honor the agreed schedule. - Even the coach mentioned that their office is a hodgepodge at best.

Peter is very patient and always points to my mistakes. After several super effecient lessons, I got good driving skills as well as good driving habit.

June sponsored me during the exam and drove me to and back from the location. Throughout the ride, she was very encouraging and was supportive. Experiencia negativa: Watched somebody in a Boston metro driving school car take the 2+ HOV lane at 830 am alone, against the law, and then proceed to drive into the i-93 tunnel talking on her phone and steering with one hand, cut two people off and the drove slowly to South station. Seems like a great school if you want to learn how to be an awful driver.

But, please, be sure you go to RMV right after the exam and replace the permit with the “pass” sign with the temporary license!!! Do not leave without replacing your permit after the exam!

He is an excellent driver, however, he kept talking the whole ride and distracted me and shame me for not knowing anything. Well, if I know everything why would I come to school the first place? But i payed for the JOL program and dedicated myself to doing all my requirement license hours. Experiencia positiva: From my experience this is a Great place! The staff is Respectful and I never had a bad experience with them. Just know when you go there's a deposit!!! I had to pay 55 dollars that was the only thing that surprised me because it wasn't mentioned but whatever, Nothing is free. People just need to make sure they listen carefully to their rules! If you make an appointment and you want to cancel it MAKE SURE YOU CALL 36 HOURS BEFORE! Not 24. And if you made the appointment the day before just make sure you GO because evidently it's not a 36 hour notice and you will have to pay like 15 dollars for a cancelled appointment! And also keep in mind 15 is ONLY FOR ONE LESSON CANCELLED . If you cancelled for a 1.5 hour lesson you have to pay 30 dollars PLUS the money you take for you next lesson! So to save your money don't cancel. Take your time and listen what their teaching you!

Experiencia negativa: Very bad service and attitude! Saturday morning they only the door until 9:17am. And the woman is very cold and indifferent. I said I didn't reserve, just pass by and want to check if I can practice today! However, because I signed the road test by myself, not by them. She said we don't accept you because you signed by yourself. I don't know it's true or she just use one excuse to aginst me. It's bullshit since their website did said they can do driving practice either we signed the test by ourselves or through them! Just want to say, it's really a bad attitude! I feel shameful if she is a Chinese

Experiencia negativa: I went to this place as it seems cheaper and in downtown area. After I joined the driving class, I found everything strange. First of all, I need to call front desk to make an appointment for the class (which is normal), but the lady in the front desk doesn't know how to deal with customers, broken English really hard to understand, very raspy sound. Second it took the lady forever to schedule a road test or a class which I think is ridiculous. Customer service is horrible. Think twice before calling/going to this place.
