We are one of the most experienced driving schools in Charlotte, North Carolina. Helms Driving School is licensed, bonded, and NC DMV approved. We offer a variety of services which include Teen Drivers Education Classes, Adult Driving Lessons, Teen Behind-the-wheel driving, Teen permit driving hours, as well as practicing the DMV Road course.

We have been teaching adults and teenagers to drive safely since 1995 throughout the Charlotte area. At Helms Driving School, our number-one objective is to ensure that our students develop and maintain safe practices on the road as well as learn the art of defensive driving. The professional and licensed instructors at our facility feel that it is their obligation to provide a level of service that is in accordance to safety rules and regulations as provided by the NC DMV. Here at Helms Driving School, we know that there is no substitute for classroom instruction with a knowledgeable instructor and real, behind-the-wheel training can only be achieved by actually getting behind the wheel. We want you to feel at ease in knowing that you are working with the best team of professionals in the industry.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience with Helms Driving School! Chrystal was awesome, and so were all of the instructors. We were left in a tough spot after the school that I had my son registered with closed unexpectedly. Helms got us in the queue quickly. Communication was great all the way around. Highly recommend them if you have a teen that needs to get the requirements done.

Experiencia fantástica: Helms driving school has been great ! They’ve been very prompt in response with question I’ve had all along the way . My sons driving instructor has been super patient and kind . I will definitely be recommending them to any friends looking for a good driving school.
