Keeping with tradition, new owners, Patty and Don Chesney, are committed to keeping the Turlock Driving School staff highly trained and motivated, to ensure the safety and quality of the behind the wheel driving experience for student drivers of all ages. Patty, has an extensive teaching background in behind-the-wheel instruction, having taught for over a decade, and continuing to work along side her staff as an instructor.

All Turlock Driving School student driver automobiles have an automatic transmission, air conditioning, and are safety equipped with instructor-side brakes and rear-view mirrors. All vehicles meet or exceed the DMV requirements.

Turlock Driving School offers lessons 7 days a week and does its best to accommodate all schedules. Pick-up/ drop-off locations can be tailored to meet every student’s needs.

You will find there are many online drivers education courses offered. Through research, and history of success upon taking the written permit exam, Turlock Driving School endorses Welcomedriver.com. When registering for welcomedriver.com use code TU3826 to get a discounted price.

Prior to using the TDS vehicle for the drivers evaluation test, the student must take a minimum of 1 – 2 hour behind the wheel drivers training lesson with a TDS instructor. Evaluation for use of vehicle will be determined at that time.

Experiencia fantástica: Instructor was very kind and made my daughter feel comfortable. He had a very calm demeanor to put a new drive at ease. He provided a lot of tips for her upcoming drive test. The office staff are also very informative and get back to you right away. Would definitely recommend Turlock Driving School.

Experiencia negativa: At first, Amber was very sweet and helpful and got me going. Somewhere between the conversation I misunderstood the information and I tried getting clarification. The phone was busy and I couldn’t get through then when I called back later that day it was closed and I was able to leave a voicemail and then text the number they have provided to get a hold of them after hours. I never got ahold of them again even through the phone number they provided to text. The day of the appointment came but never received confirmation. The day of the appointment came and the instructor showed up, but I never got a confirmation and I never got a call back that I had requested previously. So my teen wasn’t aware. When I finally got a hold of her, she seemed irritated and rude and didn’t care about the miscommunication. Nowhere in our conversation did she mention that if it was a no-show it was a $50 rescheduling fee. The website doesn’t state so either. When I was trying to communicate with her and explained what happen she seem uninterested and not willing to work with me. Haven’t heard from her since SO went with a different school.

Experiencia fantástica: Best recommendation ever! I thought I would be nervous for my first time but the instructor made me super comfortable and spoke to me through out ever step!

Experiencia fantástica: Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs help learning how to drive. My nerves got to me a little bit but I passed my driving test on the first try after three lessons and each instructor I worked with was very knowledgeable and professional.
