As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, We are offering ONLINE ONLY Driver Education Program (DEP) Courses in compliance with the Maryland Department of Transportation: Motor Vehicle Administration.

If you are a parent purchasing an online course then please make sure to register the student online first. | STAY LOGGED IN AS THE STUDENT! | then purchase the course for the student. This has to be done in order for the student to have access and be assigned to the class that has been paid.

Starlinx Driving School is the leading Driving and Counseling Institution in the Washington DC Metro Area. Our main goal is to give proper guidelines and driving techniques, in a safe and responsible manner to all our students.

We pride ourselves in safety issues in order to reduce deaths, injuries and economic losses resulting from collision and other driving hazards. It is our aim to help the young and old drivers to adopt defensive driving techniques and to become very responsible drivers and be courteous towards other road users.

Starlinx Driving School also provides counseling services related to the dangers of alcohol and drugs, and other dangers associated with aggressive driving behaviors.

Maryland Driver’s Education program is one of the prerequisite by law prior to obtaining your Provisional Driver License (PDL). We offer this program for teens and adults who are getting their driver’s license for the first time.

The safe driving experience and knowledge you’ll gain during the supervised driving portions of this program will help you ace your road test and get on the road with your new driver’s license.

The Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is a 4-8 hour instructional program that is intended to provide driver rehabilitation. You may have been assigned to the driver improvement program for a variety of reasons from the MVA.

We offer the 3-Hour Alcohol & Drug Education Program (ADEP). This 3-hour class is required by the Maryland MVA for drivers who have a valid driver’s license from another country and want to apply for a Maryland driver’s license.

The school is satisfactory. I had a great time with a few hitches here and there but overall I'm glad I chose StarLinx. I passed my test with 100% accuracy the first time and I credit that to Starlinx Driving School. You'll be happy if you go there.

Starlinx Driving School did not only teach me how to drive,but also the real qualities of being a good driver and how to respect the traffic rules and regulations for safe driving. The instructors are incredibly polite and respectful. I would recommend everyone any to go there for better training.

I had John as an instructor and he is highly recommended. In addition, the whole team offers a lot of encouragement, strategies and advice on how to successfully get your provisional license. I passed my drivers test on the first attempt with minimal out of class driving practice.

Experiencia negativa: If you like to be disrespected l, this is for you. The level of professionalism in this place is beyond horrible... how will they offer a class for 4:45pm and then say that it actually starts at 6pm with no previous notification and then have the audacity to scream at me like I was the one who misinformed them. Waste of time. Lack of communication. Disrespectful towards paying customers

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY - My experience with Starlinx Driving School has been nothing but frustrating and unprofessional. After paying $350 in August 2024 for both classroom and driving instruction, my son completed the classroom portion, but the behind-the-wheel training has been a complete disaster. The owner, CharlesKpodzo, and his staff have demonstrated poor business practices, including: - Confirming then canceling lessons - Leaving students waiting outside a locked facility - Cutting scheduled 2-hour lessons to 1 hour - Dropping my minor child off at McDonald's instead of the school - Denying confirmed appointments - Not answering calls during business hours - Refusing to provide written policies When trying to resolve these issues, the owner claimed he couldn't check schedules because "the office was closed" but then called back hours later, claiming my son wasn't even scheduled (despite previous confirmation). When asked about their refund policy, I was told I had to physically come to the office to read it on their wall - completely unacceptable for a paid customer. While the classroom portion went fine (30 hours), the driving instruction has wasted time and money. My son's driving test is coming up and we're now scrambling to find another school. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. The only positive is the classroom education - everything else has been unprofessional, unreliable, and frustrating. Choose another driving school! Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to the Starlinx Driving School team for your excellent service to teaching everything you know about vehicles and driving to my daughter. Mr. Charles and Mr. Dennis did an outstanding job in the classroom and on the road. If you apply exactly what they teach, you will have no problems at all passing your exam and road test. I recommend Starlinx Driving School.
