Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dawn Driving School a couple years ago when they were offering free driver’s ed lessons, Which in itself was such a great opportunity. The staff has always been super friendly and welcoming. I initially got my permit through them, And even after coming back a couple of years later to get my license, They were just as kind and professional. I always recommend Dawn Driving School to anyone looking to get their permit/license or driving lessons. They even made an accommodation for my driving test, Which I wasn’t aware of but truly appreciated since I’m always working. Their dedication to their students and willingness to go above and beyond is what sets them apart. Hands down one of the best driving schools in the state! Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Before taking my road test here, I thought the reviews are just overexaggerated however, after taking the test, I now realize that this business needs to improve. The instructor shouldn't let their bad days affect the people who just want to get their driver's license. Be aware of the old guy, he is rude, people cannot focus when you yell at them. I hate how the government doesn't allow us to take road tests for free like other states at the DMV. I feel unfair for the State of Colorado because of the Inflation. Every cost is rising (including fees to take road test at a driving school) but not the wages.

Experiencia negativa: the receptionist or what they call her ruined my day, I presented a California permit and she began to claim that this was not a permit at all, I asked to talk to my husband so that he would explain where it was written on these papers that this was a permit and she simply refused to do it. Below I will put a photo of the permit so I just turned around and left. As a valued Google local guider I can honestly say that this is the worst place you can spend your money. They even have no idea what a permit looks like, they don’t know the elementary rules and laws, which means they can’t teach you anything. The atmosphere in the office is also important, it was, to put it mildly, not clean and there was an odor

Experiencia fantástica: Honestly, after reading most of these reviews, I was even more nervous to take the test because I thought I would possibly fail and I thought I would get a bad experience. However, now I know never to trust the reviews fully because the instructor was actually the nicest man. He made conversation with me, and calmed me down to where I was able to drive so smoothly. If you know how to drive calmly and confidently, there shouldn’t be a problem. He was very clear in his directions and was helpful when I asked things. So if you’re deciding whether to take it here, i would recommend you to do so if you know how to drive.

Experiencia fantástica: First of all the lady at the front was so sweet she reminded me of a mother and the guy that was doing the test we also very sweet I really enjoyed the service and I didn't feel soo much anxiety I had failed IOM driveing school because of something simple and I was very anxious I would recommend dawn driving school to anyone and everyone thank you I forgot to mention the testing car is a little outdated if that important for anyone and it cost 80$ to take the driver's test

Experiencia negativa: ⚠️WARNING ⚠️ Do Not Come Here!!! REVIEW FROM AN AFRICAN: This place is only out to rob customers of their hard earned money! They have zero customer service as they don’t introduce themselves nor do they give accurate directions to their location as the gps leads to the backside of the building thus having you stuck in a neighborhood. The instructor (The Old Man) was horrible as his attitude was very rude to begin before we even got into the car. Once we began driving, he gives instructions such as when to turn, etc too late. He makes you feel so uncomfortable in the car with him making little remarks that make you feel discouraged the entire time. After completing the test, he immediately failed me telling me that I need more practice. When I asked the reason for failing me, he said I did not stop long enough at the stop signs (which I did) and then said I was speeding which was yet another lie! When I asked where I was speeding and by how much I went over, he couldn’t give me an answer!! It is obvious that these people purposely fail you to get an extra $80 out of you. I found it funny that he asked me if this was my first time testing multiple times as I believe he wanted to make sure that he could make extra cash off of new student.

Experiencia fantástica: I LOVE THIS PLACE! I contacted Dawn Driving School around 3:39pm as I was issued a One-day permit from DMV and needed to test today. After contacting five or six other schools that advertise being open until 5 or 6p, I remembered visiting another driving school with a friend a few years before. I searched for third party driving schools of Yosemite and Colfax which brought up Dawn Driving School. The lady that answered the phone was very nice, professional and accommodating letting me know if I could make it in by 4:30, I could test there. Although there were several other people at the school I didn’t have to wait long to start my test. The schools employees are customer service oriented and extremely professional. I definitely recommend Dawn Driving School for all your DMV testing needs! ✌

Experiencia negativa: The African dude in the office was very unfriendly and would not talk to you also did not introduce himself or anything he didn’t even want to take me on the drive test because he claimed my permit wasn’t valid till I clearly showed him that it wasn’t expired till 2023 and I felt like he didn’t want to take me on the drive he also started speaking another language so I couldn’t understand him would not recommend this place to no one he failed me and I felt like I did a great job .He also only asked me for a mask but when someone else that was also African came in he had no problem

Went here with my 16 year old, very clear directions on his permit testing,which he passed.Just be sure to ask the requirements before going in, like school ID/identification, birth certificate & DMV confirmation, etc. , which was needed prior to taking the test. Also it is $30. Thank you Dawson driving school!

She called me asking for my name laughing, didn't state who she was or why she was calling when I asked, and then proceeded to hang up the phone. When I called back she said she hung up because "it seemed like you didn't want an appointment" , when I asked her when the next available appointment would be she lectured me on how I was supposed to answer my phone, told me she had someone else on the line, and hung up again.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been here twice, once with my younger brother and myself both to take driver’s tests and we were treated respectfully and quickly. Driving instructor is great and let’s you know what you must improve on or did well on. Thank you Dawn Driving School. P.S. with COVID shutting down the DMVs this place was a blessing!

Experiencia positiva: I passed my road test! After falling at IOM Driving school on June 4th, I scheduled an appointment here for the very next day. My instructor was extremely calm and patient with me. He made sure I was extremely comfortable, which I appreciated. Before the driver's test, I took on a lesson with an instructor a few weeks ago. He also was amazing and attentive. His main focus was controlling the vehicle and speed awareness. Highly recommended!!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with these folks. Professional, tidy and very polite. They had their own vehicle so I didnt need to use my own for the test and I appreciated that. Again the vehicle was clean and all safety checks performed before leaving for the test. I set my appointment the same day, I was in and out in 30 mins. 10/10, would recommend to anyone.

If they don’t want to help their customers then they just need to be shut down.

Experiencia negativa: The owner was very unwelcoming the first time I took my son to take his test. The second time was just as bad. TheThe woman was very unfriendly and rude. They hiked the price up by 5$ and charged 2$ for gloves to use while there. When I asked why, the husband was very aggressive with me telling me they they have to make up the money they lost during the pandemic. Which I understood, but the husband should have not been so aggressive with me as a woman. I felt they were much nicer to the Caucasian and Ethiopian customers. Also, Dawn's Driving school charges $28 to take the permit test and the DMV only charges 11$. Just so you know if you fail the test at Dawn's Driving school (even after you pay the 28$) you will still owe the DMV 11$ for that failed test. Dawn's Driving school should inform people of this. That is very UNETHICAL for them not to inform us of this. Please dont waste your time or money on this place.

The reason for the 4 stars is because the office furniture is really basic and outdated. Other than that, no problems arise. I will recommend this school to everyone. The testing cars they have are older toyota corollas and a Honda civic.

I'd previously taken my driver's license test at the American Driving Academy in Aurora, and had a terrible experience there due to a tense, unpleasant person who tested me. At Dawn's Driving School I was treated with respect and kindness, this helped put me at ease for a test I was nervous about. I also liked how they were able to schedule my test quickly. I would definitely recommend this place over other schools in the area, based on my experience there.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the DMV and failed my first road test , so I decided to try and re take my driving test else were , & being the fact they got me in the next day makes it that much easier and the instructor was super nice and I passed my driving test at Dawn Driving School with flying colors witch made me so happy being the fact my birthday is in two days ! 60 $ was well worth it to me so Id recomend this place as long as you do a good job on your test you have no worries !

I needed to take the behind the wheel exam, they got me in right away. I was a little hesitant because some of the negative reviews, I suspect these reviews are racial or religious intolerance based. Experiencia negativa: Took my daughter for her permit test and the customer services was so bad we left and went to DMV. I was planning on having her take driving classes here but after the extremely rude man wanted to talk over the lady helping us, I decided to take my business somewhere else. Apparently they feel it's okay to talk down to and degrade their customers. The lines at DMV were more pleasant than the jerk that runs this dump.

Experiencia fantástica: Judging by the reviews, the only logical explanation for anyone to provide a 1-star rating is because they failed the test. Perhaps rightly so too. This is because the staff are honest, they work very hard, and they conduct the work in exactly the manner they're required. A good place for anyone that has any requirements to fulfill with drive training and satisfying driver's license requirements.
