It is the goal of Interstate Commercial Truck Driving School (ICDS), a Florida based educational facility, to educate as well as motivate individuals to become safe, reliable and productive members of the trucking industry.

Our director, Sean Gerrits, has been a professional in the trucking industry as an owner and an operator of a fleet of vehicles for over 30 years. His knowledge and expertise gained has provided us the ability to conduct the highest quality trucker training programs to produce safe, competent and reliable professional commercial drivers.

Interstate Commercial Truck Driving School prepares individuals to become professional truck drivers. We take great pride in providing the federally mandated Entry Level Driver Training program (ELDT) via a thorough, classroom style instruction combined with the experience needed behind the wheel of a commercial motor vehicle which will increase your chances of success in gaining your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). ICDS is the premier CDL school in Florida.

Our industry recognized Tractor-Trailer (Class A with Air Brakes) commercial driver-training program includes both the knowledge (ELDT and Advanced) and behind the wheel (backing and on-road) instruction that is designed to provide an opportunity to develop the skills need to gain your CDL. Our ultimate goal as a team is to place well educated, well-versed and highly competent applicants into the professional commercial driving industry.

The instructional team Interstate Commercial Driving School has put together will provide a time sensitive program based on more than 50 years of real world operation, and a mechanical program with 20 plus years of practical application. Our field instructors collectively have more than 50 years of on the job experience, and we have two state licensed Commercial Drivers License (CDL) examiners with more than 18 years combined experience.
