Southwest Truck Driver Training

Experiencia negativa: My experience with Southwest Truck Driver Training was extremely disappointing. I expected a basic level of professionalism and quality, but what I received was far below standard. This is the worse company you would ever want to deal with. The staff was unresponsive, the service was disorganized, and my concerns were outright dismissed when I tried to address them. The service was significantly delayed, and there was little communication about the wait time. I had paid in full for a class B training, but was not told that there were no candidates to fulfill the class. Therefore, I was stuck in limbo for a couple of weeks. Then I was advised that I had to wait for another candidate to begin the class. But it would take time to find another candidate. I did not have the time to just wait until someone else signed up. I have a job and other duties to attend to. If they would have communicated this to me before I signed up, I would have never paid for this class and would have looked elsewhere. I have been emailing the staff, Debra Dahan and Bryan Spencer about a refund and have not gotten anywhere. They told me the finance department will get back to me, but again, with a company so incompetent, they never reached out. They are now straight up ignoring my emails. I’m out $3,500 (I paid this class with cash) with no say on when I will be getting my money back. It’s unacceptable to treat customers this way, and I feel it’s important for others to be aware of the level of disregard I experienced. Based on this encounter, I cannot recommend this business. You will have better luck searching for a different driving school. No customer should have to deal with such poor service. Oscar Ruiz.

Experiencia fantástica: I really like the school Matt the teacher did tich me really good I will definitely recommend it. nice people Silvia help me with my paperwork thanks so much for the all experience to be part of your family school. everything worked for me I did the weekend classes. While I was working full-time South West truck school the best ‍♂️

Experiencia fantástica: I am currently enrolled at the Las Vegas campus and I am 3 days away from graduating. I have to say I love this program and the staff. If you are considering truck driving as a career I highly recommend this school, the staff and instructors truly care about your success. I am so grateful for all that they have taught me and the support they have given to ensure our success!! Thank Joey, Alicia, Matt, Bo, and Tony and the rest of the staff!!

Experiencia fantástica: My fiance James and I both attended Southwest a couple of years ago. We both obtained our CDL'S in different classes. My fiance and I recently went to a job fair that the school was hosting. He inquired about them having manual trucks, because during the time we went to school the trucks were out of service. He spoke with Sylvia about it because it was paid for with the expectations of receiving his manual endorsement. After nearly a year later the opportunity was presented and Sylvia went above and beyond to ensure that he received his manual endorsement. She worked with his schedule and kept him updated with the things he needed to do to take the class. So I would like to personally thank Sylvia, Bo, and David for their time and effort to help him get that restriction lifted.

Experiencia fantástica: Passed on 12/26/24 and by far one of the best experiences of my life. Glad I chose SWTD for my training. All staff were professional, patient, funny and just outstanding. I'll miss those guys❤️.
