He was assigned to Gina Rettberg for the Behind-the-wheels lessons; she was amazing!! I highly recommend her! She always kept us informed of what and where he would be practicing and updated us on Josh's driving progress. She's an awesome all-around great teacher for driving! Thanks Gina for making Josh's driving experience enjoyable and a great learning experience.

Best class and driving experiences I could ask for!

I was able to learn all about the guidelines and the regulatory safety on driving and the rules you have to follow. I gained more knowledge about driving from being in that class and I feel like I’m more confident in the guidelines and safety of real-life driving.

He was knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, helpful, quickly responsive to voicemails, flexible with schedule changes, and professional. Jabrai Scott was a fantastic Classroom Instructor. He was knowledgeable, nice, thoughtful, conscious about ensuring the students understood the topics, and put a lot of effort into making class topics interesting. I would definitely recommend Street Smarts of MD thanks to these great instructors.

Experiencia fantástica: We were assigned Brian Schindler for behind the wheel instructions and finished up a great experience. Brian is professional, personable and informative. He kept me, the parent, informed of progress and where/what they would be practicing. Student driver had this to say, "he was very kind and encouraging and never made me nervous while driving. He was very calm and collected, just giving tips occasionally and redirected me if needed." My family highly recommends Street Smarts for classes and Brian Schindler for behind the wheel instructions.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place to book driving instructions. They provide long winded instructions for parents and asking them to put signature in the email which is not clear when a parent is booking and paying for the classes, responding to the emails and office keeps repeating same thing without reading the emails.

It was fun and engaging enough to retain the information we were being taught, while still gaining an in depth understanding the dangers and precautions that come with driving. Ten out of ten would recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Tina Khan was my instructor, and she was excellent. The class was entertaining and easy to follow, coupled with her unparalleled patience. However, I would highly recommend taking the class in person due to the limitations of the Zoom course. EDIT: Please be aware of this before entering Street Smarts. They are not transparent in any way, shape, or form on the website regarding how much time it takes between classroom hours and behind the wheel hours. It is wildly unacceptable to have a 80-day wait for a $500 class. They should also prioritize those who are eligible for their provisional. I would not recommend using Street Smarts. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The classes are long, however, there are long breaks in between, which makes it more digestible. If you are willing to learn how to drive, you'll do fine and become a good driver in the process.

Experiencia fantástica: Just finished my online drivers ed with Instructor Matthew Bellard. He was great. very easy to work with, very understanding. Whole program is exceptional, very easy to schedule classes, BTW sessions, they were all great.

Experiencia fantástica: Great Experience! Easy to work with when scheduling make up classroom session due to conflict. The "Behind the Wheel" instructor we had (Mr Flaggs) was great to work with. Made scheduling easy, worked really well with teens. He offered great guidance to parents on areas to focus on and my son had a great experience with him.

While the class was a little uneventful, as you would expect for regulatory programs, I did learn a lot despite having been driving with a coach using my drivers permit for several months. I would definitely recommend it, just remember to study your notes taken in class for the final!

Experiencia negativa: When you sign up for the in person class, you can tell this company really pushes the virtual class because they send out tons of information about the virtual session. Then low and behold, my daughter's in person class gets canceled, and we are only given the option for virtual. It’s infuriating that a driver's ed class would charge the same for virtual, when it’s much more convenient for the company to do an online session for students than have to go to a classroom. Companies really take advantage of virtual services, and this one is no different. I don’t appreciate bait and switch. *** To add, they don't answer the phone, which is just a service for multiple companies, and nobody mans the location which is just used for traffic offender classes. So if you want to talk to someone, tough luck.
