Experiencia negativa: Drive to the next place or get a ride if you’re still trying to get a driver’s license, either way will be faster and less time consuming than dealing with this place. They are clever to spread out reviews across multiple locations, be sure to read them all. It literally took months, just a few months shy of a full year to book and complete behind the wheel time for two teenagers. The online booking tool is useless and calling is worse. They will promise to call you back just to get off of the phone and you will not hear back from them. I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau and the MVA. I have yet to waste as much time as I have chasing these people for information, only to get the run around and zero answers.

Experiencia negativa: They were very disrespectful kept hanging up in my face every time I asked to send my certificate over to the MVA. They had 3+ days to send this information over and they waited till the last minute, that’s unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: The 30 hr driving course was highly unprofessional, the driving instructor often left to tend to calls since they were understaffed. Speaking of understaffed, never go to the Sp Driving at the Rockville location. There is only one instructor there and he only works during the weekend which takes forever for the students to schedule an in-car lesson. Not to mention, the Rockville location is now no more since the rent was never due and there is not even an official office. Even the driver instructor highly does not recommend anyone to take SP Driving Academy. Yes, the driving course may be significantly lower than others but the time and effort it takes to just take the course and schedule the driving lessons are not worth it.

Experiencia fantástica: My driving academy course was fun and enjoyable, my instructor was Mr. Davis, he taught the course as well as anyone could and I could really understand the material. he gave really good constructive criticism which helped me very much so. and he'll always give you the benefit of the doubt and give you a break. overall a great experience!

Experiencia negativa: Scheduling a driving class was extremely difficult. What should take 3 days took over 4 weeks to get done. They don’t have enough instructors to take you on the road. We are in the Montgomery location, but they didn’t have classes available week after week. We had to drive to Lanham each time. Choosing this school was a big mistake.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this school for your child, they take in a large number of students to complete the coarse classroom training but when it’s time to schedule the 6 hour driving training they do not have availability for MONTHS! My son completed his training in April and we still do not have dates for his 6 hour required training. When you call the number to speak to someone the line is busy! Why take so many students if you do not have enough teachers for the driving? We were hoping to get my sons license before summer started so he can go to work on his own. Now that seems to be out of the question. Think twice before sending your child here.

Experiencia negativa: Worst driving school you could possibly attend. I did my classes in April 2021. It is now May 2022 and they have refused to give me my behind the wheel sessions. We had to come in person physically to schedule them and even then it was an issue. If you want to get your license and not loose your mind, do not sign up for this driving academy.

Experiencia negativa: I giving 1 star because 1 day my son had to wait for 1 hour for the driver instructor. And 1 day we had an emergency family so we needed to cancel and they are charging me $50 for canceling. They can make us wait. But we can’t have emergency.

Look, the instructors and staffs are premium (except a couple of crackheads) but, the scheduling and management of this school is a nightmare. If you want to waste your time and start driving a year after you enroll go ahead and trap yourself in this school. I tried to transfer to another school they said no.The instructors (except a couple) are 100/10 but, scheduling is a nightmare. Also, the front desk lady can be a little rude sometimes. Experiencia negativa: Funny and sweet teacher but something isn’t right. I’m doing online classes and I was able to come to class on time and now all of a sudden I can’t get in? And they let me in 20 minutes later. It’s like they are doing that on purpose!! Like come on now. I had to call her for two days now 4 TIMES to get in. Edit just found out the lady who dose attendance she purposely haven’t been letting me in on time. Most likely from jealously because no other classmate was having this problem but me and the teacher even admitted that she was joking I don’t think it’s funny when I’m paying $300 for a class for someone to play with my schooling so I can drive.

Experiencia positiva: No driving instructor available to take you to the road The teacher for the online classes was very knowledgeable and pleasant but then there was no way for us to schedule the part to drive on the road. They took the payments but have no instructor available to take the student to the road! It took at least 2 months to finally get the first driving lessons scheduled, and 4 months more, for a second driving lesson, after critical efforts to try to speak to someone in the office and get on the schedule. I don’t know if it has to do with the impact of the pandemic. Therefore, we had to reschedule with the MVA because of their delay in the driving scheduling. Maybe they have improved by now, if not try a different school that has driving instructor to take you to the road as soon as possible!

Experiencia negativa: The purpose of this school is to make easy money. Anyone can teach the online course, but the thing that is most needed is actual driving time on the road and this school does not offer that. There is nothing unique about what they offer. You can go elsewhere that not only offers the online course but also has on the road training. Also, once you complete the course you do not receive anything documentation verifying that you completed the course.

Experiencia positiva: So I started this driving classes in May, I finished in July, they are a ok school, but one huge con about them is they waste a lot of time, I finished my online classes in July and didn’t get a behind the wheel till September!! Which is a LONG await for a behind the wheel then my second and third one we’re in November which is still long, why that far for a behind the wheel, my first behind the wheel I had a Man named Koletowo Fatai, he was passive aggressive the first drive he thought me absolutely nothing and then he didn’t know how to give good directions, my second and third behind the wheel I got a better instructor that was the reason I passed my test, overall they are a good place just need to work on timing !

Experiencia negativa: This place is so unorganized! The staff is so rude and dysfunctional. They shut down last year due to COVID and failed to put me in the system correctly so I couldn’t do my btw time even though I paid for it in advance. They refused to give me a refund but as soon as I said I wanted my money back they magically tried to put me on the schedule but the times that were giving didn’t work for me so I insisted on a refund. They still will not give me my money back!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give -100 stars I would. If you love your time & your money & sanity, go to a different driving school. The front desk is absolutely horrible and 1 of the behind the wheel instructors (can’t remember his name) will literally double your anxiety if you are not confident coming for your 1st behind the wheel. I finished my online lessons in May and had to call literally everyday to be scheduled for my first behind the wheel lesson in July. I told them July was too late and I wanted a refund for the driving portion and they said NO. Now I’m stuck with them and it’s November and I still haven’t finished my behind the wheel lessons. Go elsewhere!!

Experiencia negativa: They cheated my son out of 30 minutes because the driver was late. Months later the "owner" called and swore that he knew nothing of my troubles and promised me an additional hour if I took my review down plus would give back the 30 minutes I was shorted. We agreed that I would reach back out when it was my son's turn to take his driver's test. Fast forward to now, I emailed to schedule the 90 minute session. I received a response asking for a test date then I heard nothing after responding to that email. I called to inquire as the test date got closer. The person on the other end said there was nothing documented and that the driver was never late nor missed an appointment. I will never, every recommend this driving school to anyone and in fact, I will contact MD State about this issue because these programs are set up to rip people off and not provide the service. AND....they already reported to DMV that he took all of his driving hours. SHAMEFUL!!! As a mother, this is appalling. Now, I am seeking additional classes for him to take elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I start from? I never wanted to drive. I was scared to drive from knowledge test to the actual behind the wheel practice. I came to this driving school and all reviews both good and bad override what I got which was EXCELLENTE!. After the classes I did my six hours behind the wheel, scheduled for my road test as advice by Ms Zee but I failed. The school called me to my surprise and gave me a lot of moral support because my family had given up on me. I was taken on extra mentorship and on second attempt, I made it. Am so happy, I got my license . SP Driving School made it possible for me. I will recommend the school over and over again.

Anyways she told me I would receive my title in about a month after getting my tags but it has been 4-5 months and all she says is "its on its way" The lady does not seem very professional to me and had a bad experience

The phone operator would tell you they would call you back and did not. The communication here was very low and made the process drag on longer than it should have. If you chose this school be prepared to call many times before they get back to you.

Experiencia negativa: There are so many things wrong about this driving school. I dreaded picking up my phone to call them because it was always so unprofessional or I knew I would be let down. It is such a HASSEL to get a hold of Miss Zee (the main squeeze of the company) and it was an even bigger struggle to book my behind the wheels...Call multiple times if you need to make it happen. My permit was expiring soon so that is the only reason I would give them one star, they did help me in that aspect, but other than that the company is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and although the price is better than other places it is not worth it. I was annoyed every BTW (was barely given direction) I recommend you know the basics of being on the road before going or else you are in trouble. It was honestly an exhausting experience and I am glad it is over. Please go else where if you can but it will be exhausting if you continue to go through with it.

Before the pandemic i had one driving lesson left that had to be cancelled because of the pandemic. Fast forward to when they opened back up, I have been calling them for months to schedule an appt. The lady who answers each times writes my name down & says she’ll call me back & never does. Finally months later I’m able to get an appt but I asked why she never called back each tine her literal response was “ I don’t know”. Go to another driving school save yourself the stress and extra money they’re trying to get from you.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate 0 stars I ABSOLUTELY would. This place is SO unprofessional when it comes to communication & scheduling. I have been calling since March to schedule a last behind the wheel appointment and have been brushed off every time saying I would receive a call, but never getting a call back. When I called today I finally got an appointment for over a month from now, when I have been practically begging for an appointment since March, my LAST appointment at that. When I asked the owner why couldn’t I have gotten an appointment months ago considering I’ve been calling for the past 5 months, she simply brushed it off and said “I don’t know” and kept talking, even though this is who answers the phone every time I call. I would recommend nobody come here at all. You will be waiting, and waiting, and waiting forever.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst driving school!!! My son finished the in class sessions and took two of the required driving sessions. He scheduled another session on January 4th but had to cancel it on December 31st which is 5 days before the required 24 hours cancellation time! Even though we canceled 5 days in advance, the school refuses to book his last driving session until we pays a $50 fee cancellation fee they charge for not canceling within 24 hours of the appointment. I’ve called and emailed the owners over 3 times and each time, I get the same demand for a $50 fee we do not owe! It’s their contract that has the 24 hour policy and we got written confirmation of the cancellation within 24 hours of the cancellation. This means they CONFIRMED 4 DAYS in advance that the appointment was canceled. Still, no matter how many times I called or emailed them proof of their own written confirmation, they refuse to remove the $50 fee! They are holding my son’s license up for hostage now for months. At this point. I want my $50 back for the breach of contract and more for the stress and aggravation of having to deal with this shoddy operation. I want a partial refund and to forget it all at this point. I plan to take my complaint up with the MVA and the Maryland Consumer Protection Bureau Do yourself a favor and GO ELSEWHERE!!! There are too many other schools in Maryland for you to chose this horrible and poorly managed and run shoddy operation!

Experiencia negativa: Didn't do the in class lessons for my son. We only did the mentorship and driving lessons on the road and had bad expereince, with poor ocmmunication and unorganzied . The first time instructor was supposed to come pick up son from home. Called at the appt time and the instructor hadn't left yet but getting ready to leave. The driver that time didn't show up until 1 hr and 15 min after the appt time. 2nd incident, I drive son to the school and the instructor was sick that day, but nobody didn't call or email that it would be canceled and rescheduled. The 3rd incident was the rescheduled lesson for a 12:15 - 2:15 time slot. Instructor doesn't leave out the office until 12:25 and son calls at 1:40pm to say he finish with no explanation from instructor. I called immediately and they said they have to contact the instructior to find out what happen and will let us know. I sent a text to a contact person that said they would look into it as they off several days and send 3 emails but no response to that email but responsed to another email at same time inquiring about paying for additonal lessons and the cost. Do not recommend for the driving portion based on my experince

He answered all of our questions and was very interactive with the students. He let's us have breaks too. He makes the class, fun, engaging, and interesting. He assured us that we can pass and that driving is not rocket science. He definitely calmed most of my nerves and installed hope in my future abilities to drive. Thank you, Mr. Johnson!

Experiencia negativa: The 5 starts are fake DO NOT BE FOOLED This place is Horrible!! It’s Terrible place to work and for students as well. They take your money and never get back to you. They keep postponing class knowing they dont have students. You keep calling but no one returns calls. The Manager is a lady named Zee she is the worst - don’t think you’ll get anywhere speaking with owner either. If you want a headache go here if you want a pleasant experience to fulfill the MVA requirement find yourself a better school!!

Mrs Gina assures that we would pass because she was going to give us the knowledge that I would need. She has done just that. She is a great teacher!!!!
