Roadmasters: Reviews
Negative experience: This was an absolute terrible experience for my daughter. Poor communication. Poor planning and organizing and scheduling. He yells at the kids, hits the dash, tells them they are stupid. He mumbles a lot and is not clear. He is very old and just needs to retire. If I could have gotten my money back and all the time we wasted waiting for him, I would have gone with someone else. I would highly recommend no one go with Tony.
Negative experience: The owner of the company was my daughter's instructor. I do not recommend Road Masters. Anthony didn't explain things well, confused my daughter, and raised his voice at her. One day, she came home crying. He's done damage to her confidence. If you are looking for someone positive and kind, this is not the company for you! Anthony's behavior is strange. He refused to tell me the details of the first drive, like where they were going or what she would be learning. He was very awkward. He didn't get out of the car to talk to me, tell me how she did, or even tell me the plan for the next drive. In fact, the first time I met him, he sat in the car with the door closed and window up where I couldn't see him. I was just standing there waiting outside the door, and he wouldn't get out. Its weird to not even say hello to the customer and talk to them! I've never observed behavior like this before! Finally, he claims that his company is superior because he gets students started immediately. While it's true that he allows students to start the online class immediately, he has the the student wait 10 weeks from the date you pay him until the drives begin. He claims that this is better and quicker than other companies, but this is incorrect. I know of several other students at my daughter's school that started after her and finished well before her. While the drawn out instruction timeline was frustrating, but manageable, his behavior is unacceptable. I highly recommend staying away from this company. I feel like he did a disservice and I'm going to need to spend the next six months restoring her confidence.
Negative experience: This place sucks if you have time to take a class for 6 months and then get your permit just to have to wait another 6 months your waiting a year for a license weirdly the girls get done quicker with then guys which is weird like does he want more time with the girls or something dudes creepy and a jerk overall
Fantastic experience: This is the owner of Roadmasters. Some people seem to forget to mention that it may take up to five months to start up with another drive school. I now have two partners to help while before I was doing it all by myself. It also is not mentioned how much these kids learn from me in class. I give the kids more information than other instructors and over what can be found in books. Over 35 years and a PhD. signed by Dr. Anthony Campos
Negative experience: My son started the in person class in February. It took 7 weeks to finish them. We then waited more than 2 months for my son to be able to start behind the wheel training. By the time my son finished that and was handed his permit, it had taken almost 6 months! Do NOT sign your kid up for Roadmasters unless you have almost half a year to waste! The owner takes on WAY too many kids and has no idea how to run his business efficiently. What a mistake.
Fantastic experience: We really appreciated Roadmasters teaching our son to drive in real world situations. I've driven in Idaho for 20 years...and let me tell you this area could use more drivers being educated by Tony. My son was halfway through his classroom instruction when COVID hit. Tony offered him to go to the online option, but our son wanted to stick with Tony's classroom education, so our 15 year old boy was willing to wait - that says something right there as far as I'm concerned. Tony was firm, encouraging and actually TEACHES kids to drive, not just pass tests. I am very grateful. Thanks, Roadmasters!
Fantastic experience: He the best. He got me where I am now with my permit in my hand
