160 Driving Academy: Reviews
Negative experience: Please don’t go to this academy. This school was unprofessional. My boyfriend started this class and only attended it for one week. They didn’t have their permits up to par. The instructor quit within two week of class. Meagan kept try to stall him out and kept giving him the run around about when class was going to start back up. They got his money but kept telling him give them another week, because class was going to be up and running again. He kept asking because he was living off his savings due to having plans to get his CDL to start back working. A month passed and he still didn’t start so he got in contact with Carl which is in upper management he told him to “get a job for a month and hopefully they will have everything up and running “ but who’s going to start and job for a month and quit or burn a bridge with a company due to their lack of professionalism. They sometimes didn’t want to respond back to him. He has to call numerous times to get in contact with them. Bad business

Fantastic experience: Awesome school! Mr.James was very knowledgeable and made sure we understood before moving on to the next step! He made sure we knew everything we needed to pass our state exam! If you’re in the area and looking for a good school call 160 driving academy!!
Fantastic experience: The school was amazing. The instructor Mr James was awesome he has great information and key points to make you pass your test when you get to the DMV to test out. I passed my test on the first try. I would highly recommend this school and instructor (Mr James) to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Loved the experience and Instructors!
Fantastic experience: Mr.James very knowledgeable and helpful..He gone make you have it so when you test you can be successful. Thank you so much
Fantastic experience: Mr James, really helped me a lot. I drove along way to receive his help, he didn't disappoint. Mr James, was patient, kind and very helpful. He taught me what I needed to pass my test. I noticed the negative reviews! However, I can honestly say my experience there was great. Thank you Mr James, for you patience and time!
Negative experience: Very disorganized. Wound up spending 5 weeks which equals 200 hours, not "160" which happens to be the freaking NAME of the acadamy. Would've spent even longer time if I wouldn't have insisted on going ahead and testing so I could return to my job, didn't seem to be important to the staff at all. Being that I was already employed before starting training this has affected my job and my money. Once I passed my road test I was informed that my information had not been loaded into the DDS system so I was unable to receive my license. I returned to work with no license so once again I'm being affected due to this organizations disorganization. So now we're 6 weeks in, still no license for me to perform the responsibilities that I was hired to do. If you are interested in obtaining a CDL I would highly recommend finding another training facility. This place has sub-par trucks and equipment. One student failed his road test due to the truck he was testing in breaking down during the test. One instructor there was highly knowledgeable and very informative while working with students. That's the only positive I can share about this experience. I would give zero stars but one star is the lowest option.
