We are so very thankful to customers like you, that appreciate what we are trying to do. Our job is not easy but we try very hard. To all the customers that understand that we have guidelines that we have to follow, it's not always easy to have to tell customers things that they some time don't want to hear. but we have to at times. We thank you for your kind words, your understanding and your patience with us. We are trying to expand our business to better help and serve our community with this service. We've only been doing the testing for about a year in half and trying to work out all the kinks but we will get there. Thanks to Mrs. DeeDee from the DPS office and our go to person and tell us what to do and how to do. She's just a call away when we need her. Please help us to be better customer service people and keep us aware of our mistakes so that we can correct them. Thanks again for your kind words with all respect.

Fantastic experience: I am an adult who had to take a driving test to get my license renewed and get my license back and so instead of doing it at the DPS I paid $50 and drove my own vehicle. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the tester and everyone there is super friendly . I recommend this to anyone needing a road test .

Fantastic experience: I better not see any bad reviews because my experience at this DPS was absolutely fantastic. They were very helpful and actually give you tips before driving and will clearly state how you do something and not just say you’re wrong but help you understand it. I took my drivers test and it went amazing. Loved it, would recommend 10/10 times.

We do our best to serve East Texas to best of our ability but not always satisfy everyone. We do appreciate everyone of you and hope that we can continue to serve you all. Thanks for the kind words because not everyone knows what we go through here trying to satisfy people. They say how rude the people at the DPS office was to them and sometimes I see why they are to rude to some people because how they treat us here. We are here to provide a service to the public and we will continue to provide this service to you all with the public's help. If we all work together we can make this as pleasant as possible. Please feel free to offer suggestions on how we can better serve East Texas with better service and keep a smile in the midst of a storm. We love what we do and try to keep the best staff to provide you the kind respect that you deserve as a customer. With the review you gave us makes us want to keep serving East Texas.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the service I received from this business. They do not have enough workers to get the kids behind the wheel for the driving part. I saved and saved money to put both of my kids through school here and sadly I regret it. I requested a refund after waiting a while for my kids to drive and was spoken to very rudely by the owner. When I let the lady know my kids were ready to drive I was told the waiting time was not so long. After a while of waiting I called to follow up only to be told by the owner no refunds would be given and this was all my fault. There is not any accountability with this institution. I expect a LONG reply from them taking none as they have done previously. How unfortunate since I paid for two children. BBB complaints have been filed. You are better off going somewhere else.

I am so sorry that you feel this way about our service but as we spoke on the phone, you said that you did not read the parent packet that was sent home with both of your children. We went over this in class and reminded the students to please have your parents to read this packet so they will know what steps to take to obtain a permit and to please call us as soon as you get your permit. She signed the paper that explain that it is imperative that we are notified when your student receives their permit. It also states that "due to the backlog, our process of providing the 7 driving lessons has been drastically impacted because it is taking several months for the students to get their permit. I looked in her kids folder that we keep for every child and saw her slip that she signed after reading this paper and she turned it in to our office for their records. When I asked her was she aware of this, she said yes she was aware of it but she said that she is not a reader and I said that was not our fault. We send those packets home so that the parents will know what to do. Had she read the packet, then she would have seen that and called to let us know when her children got their permit. She said that they got their permit in October or November but since she did not read the packet, she notified us the middle of March, where we put the children's folders when she did notify us. I tried to explain to her that we do not know when each student gets their permit and that is the reason why we have the parent packet ready to send home the first night of class so the parent can read it and know what to do. She had to have read the packet in order for her to know what to do to get the appointment set for the permit and what all documents to take to the DPS office. She would not have known what to do for that if she had not read it. I was not rude because she wouldn't let me talk. The contract states how long before you have to get a refund. She was given the contract as well to read before she signed. We know that there will be questions, so we try and put it on paper so that the parents will read it and most of their questions are answered on paper but if they ask, we will explain it to them. I can not help it if our customers do not read the paperwork we give them to read and very frustrating when they do not read it. We tried to answer every question we could think of on paper so that before they call us, they will have pulled the packet out and looked back over it and if they still have questions to please feel free to call us. We give you a copy of the contract for your records as well as our reference as to what our policies are. I did not raise my voice and did not try to talk over her. I let her talk and when I tried to explain, she talked over me and hung the phone up in my face. I am glad that she will be contacting the BBB because this is not my first time dealing with a customer that did not read any of the paperwork given to them by our establishment. The BBB has a copy of our contract on file for their records as well but I will send another contract with the response for her complaint. Her children would have been finished on time, had she read the packet. We are on schedule with the driving because the student has to hold their permit for 6 months according to the state of Texas before they can get their driver's license and we get our students driven before then or not long afterwards, depending on some circumstances. We can not drive students all day long unless they're out of school. We only drive after school at night. All of our cars are out until around 10pm. We drive some times 7 days a week because our class sizes have increased with the people moving to Texas and there's not many driving schools around here. We do what we can but if parents don't do what they're supposed to do, then they want to put the blame on us. I can not take responsibility for what you as the parent did not do on your part.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed in the service and how long it takes for the students to drive. Before signing up I asked questions on multiple occasions about the whole process. I paid for the classroom and driving. My son was able to take the test and get his permit before the deadline that was set. Classes started in August and ended in September. Here it is March and my son still hasn’t gotten behind the wheel with them. I was given excuses like we’re still working on the kids who got their permits over the summer and we’ve only had one driver but now we have another driver so it’ll go quicker. I was also informed that they only offer refunds for a week after signing up and that even though they were behind and couldn’t tell me when my son would be able to drive I couldn’t get a refund. If they had been upfront and honest about the fact that it could be over 6 months for my son to get behind the wheel with them, I wouldn’t have paid for the service. When he finally did reach out he misread my phone number and still kept insisting that he had called me and I had told him that that was the wrong number. Smh not once did he apologize for giving me the run around for months or dialing the wrong number. I will not be doing business with this company going forward. The only reason I’m going to let my son finish is because I can’t get my money back. It’s all about communication and my experience has been terrible because what I’ve been told hasn’t been accurate. At the end of the day my son received his permit in September and won’t get behind the wheel with them until the middle of March. Makes me wonder why continue to sign kids up and take money for both services if they’re so far behind that it takes over 6 months to get to drive? It seems like they’re taking on more than they can handle. It’s pretty funny that not once did he apologize in fact he blamed me for the fact that he dialed the wrong number. I have always believed that a guilty dog barks the loudest and he is being loud. He makes it sound good but the fact is he tried to take money and not provide a service. If he had mentioned that he was so overwhelmed that there would be a 6 month delay I wouldn't have paid for the driving service. His response speaks to my accuracy. As the business owner I would think that he would accept accountability for the situation instead of blaming myself, my son, and the parents for trusting him to provide a service and be honest and professional.

First, let me explain that she was told there was a waiting period for the driving and that is why we give the $190 discount and posted it on our website for everyone to read. When the customer comes in to sign up, we do not know how many kids are going to sign up for our classes until the day the class starts. Due to the new people moving here to Texas and signing up, our classes have been full to capacity each month and some months we have 2 to three classes a month with 36 kids in each class. You do the math as to how many kids are coming through our program here. We are the only school around besides Kilgore and people are traveling here as far as Dallas and Austin to enroll their kids in driver education. We also have students doing the online course and come to us to do the driving part as well. We can only drive after school because all students are in school all day long and can not drive until school lets out. We drive 7 days a week because of the overflow of people moving here and those that has always lived here. If parents cannot understand that, then there's not much we can say. I cannot give them a date as to when their child will drive because I am not God and cannot see into the future, wish that I could but I can't. I did apologize to her because of the wrong number, but the numbers were so close together and looked like an 8 instead of a 3. She didn't hear the apology because of her outrage and profanity. I would love to charge each customer $640 for each child but I am not trying to make a killing off the people but trying to educate their children on safety. If you go to your large cities and see how much they're paying, you will appreciate our prices and services here. We do the best we can to keep on schedule with the six months of each student having to hold their permit according to the state and she was on schedule with her child having to hold his permit for 6 months. He received his permit September 18,2024 and it shows how long he has to hold his permit on the back. His 6 months not up until around March 18,2025. We also send a parent packet home explaining there's a waiting period that the parents has to sign saying that they understand that there's a waiting period on the driving. She signed her slip on 8/27/24, stating she read and understood the process. Had she written the numbers where they could be easily read, she would have been scheduled and done the first week of March instead of the end of March. We are doing the best to get the job done and pretty much on schedule with the six month rule of holding the permit. This is not a full time job and my employees work a full time job during the day and drive at night after that job. We sometime even drive til 11pm when we get a little behind but most parents do not want their kids out that late driving. So, as you can see, we are doing the best we can to take care of our responsibilities but we can only do so much with the time we have made available to us. We drive every night after school and weekends. The only time the cars are parked is at night when we go home to get ready for the next day. We value every customer and try and satisfy every customer but we know that not everyone is going to be satisfied no matter what we do. With us sending information home with the students and explaining the process in class to the students, most parents are not reading any of the information we send home nor pay attention when we explain the discount with the bundle price. They have the option to allow us to just do the classroom or just the driving but she chose the bundle price and save $190 after we explained it to her is why she took the bundle price from the beginning. To bundle and save which means she understood the wait. Sorry she misunderstood and did not ask questions from the beginning to get a clear understanding. We only answer what we're asked because we assume you understood when you signed the contract.

Fantastic experience: I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have taken private driving lessons with the amazing and entertaining instructor, Mr. Ford. Despite giving my parents a run for their money, I am thankful for the valuable lessons I received and the chance to test for my driver's license. I am excited for the next chapter of my life as a licensed driver and I am grateful for the support and guidance I received from everyone involved.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter loves this driving school and the class! The time consuming part is the drives with the instructors are booked out for several months. due to the pandemic, they have had a hard time catching up! Definitely want to get your kid in right when they turn 15 do they can actually be driving at 16. That aside, I would definitely recommend this place!
