Coach Richmond's Driving School

Negative experience: Had great expectations of this place. Unfortunately class was cancelled after my child completed 14 days of class instruction and 4 hours drive time, due to a suspension from the State of Michigan for failure to comply. Now we have to go through a whole legal process just to get our money back, while paying for a whole new Segment 1 class with a different drivers ed. Needless to say my child is hesitant to trust anyone teaching him now. So much wasted time!

Fantastic experience: We used Coach Richmond to get our daughter over driving anxiety post Segment 1. (Her Segment 1 were not through Coach Richmond.) He did a great job with two private lessons and she was ready to move forward. She is now about 10 hours away from hitting that magical 50 hours requirement (yay) and without Coach Richmond we'd probably still be stuck at 2 hours.

The coach is very patient, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to helping students become confident and safe drivers. He was fantastic—always encouraging, clear in explanations, and provided practical tips that made a big difference during my lessons and on the test. Fantastic experience: Ok so this review is long overdue. I found Coach Richmond online when I decided to be serious about getting my license. I had a very big fear of driving for years. Over the course of a few months he was very helpful with teaching me the skills to becoming a great driver. He was nice, never got angry when I made mistakes, and was very encouraging especially when I voiced my fears of taking the highway. I took my drivers and passed! Now I have 0 fears when driving thanks to him. Everyone tells me I’m a good driver. I owe him a lot!

Fantastic experience: Both my sons have taken lessons from Coach Richmond. My older son who is now in college is a better and more confident driver than me. My younger son is finishing Segment 1 this week and has loved learning from Coach Richmond!! Very convenient location, very organized classes, excellent teaching and encouragement given, lots of tips/additional information given towards making the kids better and confident drivers. If you learn from Coach Richmond, you not only pass your driving test…you become “THE driver” people want to see on the road !!

Fantastic experience: I took private driving lessons. The price is affordable and he is a fantastic teacher! He is very calm, professional, and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: My granddaughter was so nervous about driving until coach Richmond put her on the road and when I tell you this guy is the best I mean it! She was so comfortable she said it was like her favorite uncle teaching her to drive. Now she’s a better driver than I. And we’re talking about someone who was terrified to drive down a normal street to dto now driving on the highway with ease. THANK YOU COACH YOUR AWESOME!!!!

Fantastic experience: classes were very detailed and coach rich is an amazing teacher! loves to make you laugh but then again takes things very seriously. cheapest in town!

Fantastic experience: Instructor was very knowledgeable and many years of experience. My son enjoyed himself and was made to feel comfortable, which was a plus.
