East Coast Driving School

Fantastic experience: We love east Coast Driving School! Both my teen daughters took the 4 hour courses and the one hour brush ups before their road tests. They will even pick them up from school. Raymond was so great and both girls really liked him. They felt so comfortable having him take them to the tests. Both have passed and are licensed NJ drivers now, all thanks to East Coast Driving School. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Smooth and easy process. Used them for the 6 hour driving course and the day of my daughters road test. Thank you East Coast for taking the stress off my hands!

Negative experience: Attempted to schedule driving lessons. Woman who answered phone was belittling and dismissive. Nonetheless, scheduled a time for someone to pick up registration materials. He was an hour late and was not knowledgeable. Subsequent correspondence with office was again unhelpful. Decided to go to another, more highly rated school in the area (East Coast actually has the lowest average of all ratings).

Fantastic experience: Great school with a very experienced instructor! I started without knowing how to drive and passed my driving test exam on the first try!

Negative experience: Website seems very professional, however they make you schedule a phone call. I don't know how busy they are but this seems very extra. Furthermore, once scheduled, they have to approve the request for the phone call itself, and they didn't approve nor call me at the requested time. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: This company never scheduled me to complete my lesson. Called for at least 3 times but got not response. Only had one class, and paid it for 375 bucks or so. The instructor was also unprofessional. Would never recommend to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Trustful, no superfluous lessons.

Negative experience: This company is EXTREMELY unprofessional. The driver arrived 1/2 hour late to pick up my child for her driver's test. "Traffic" was the excuse. The driver made my daughter very uncomfortable by making nasty comments about MY behavior (I complained about the tardiness). She said he was "mean and scary- I couldn't wait to get out of the car." THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Especially on my daughter's birthday. When the company finally (after 4 voice mail messages - they didn't answer the phones- AND a personal visit to the office) a woman named Janice called. She refused to let me talk. Instead, she yelled at me!!!!! I could not get a word in as she defended her company and driver -VERY LOUDLY. THIS COMPANY CARES NOTHING ABOUT IT'S CLIENTS- the adage that the client is always right is definitely not the code of East Coast.
