C C Driver Education: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Great place to learn to drive and worth the money.
Negative experience: This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a driving school. The staff is extremely rude and uncaring. We tried to join a zoom class 1 min before the class started and the instructor would not let us it-telling us that the request to join came in 5 minutes after that class started which was untrue. I would never recommend your child taking driving lessons from this school.
Fantastic experience: I attended CC's for Driver's Ed from November 2021 to March 2022. It was a great experience! The people were super pleasant to work with and I enjoyed being able to take classes online. I passed my driving test on the first try! I definitely recommend this place.
Negative experience: Online classes are terrible. They are drawn out for 2 hours and just go over basic stuff you probably already knew. Nothing valuable is really learnt, they just play YouTube videos and ask very simple multiple choice questions about the weather and animals and pretty much anything unrelated to driving. Instructors are okay depending on who you get. Some are nice and insightful while others are a little on edge and are honestly not that helpful. An instructor of mine was very late at giving directions which offered me little time to use my turn-signal properly. This same instructor also said I relied too much on her... YOU ARE LITERALLY THE INSTRUCTOR I'M SUPPOSE TO RELY ON YOU I AM LEARNING. She also said I had to be more confident on the road, but she was very controlling with the break and even grabbed my wheel at one point for such pointless reasons. Seeing as how controlling they are, seems many of the instructors aren't very confident in the students themselves.
Fantastic experience: My son got his license today, and I can't thank CC's enough for their education and guidance throughout the process. The online classes were very manageable and taught all of the basics, along with personal experience stories. The driving classes also taught all the basics, and the "Mini Drive" practice test was much appreciated days before the actual test. Any questions we had were always immediately addressed, and we were always kept in the loop on what to do next. I would highly recommend CC's to anyone starting on the driving journey.
Negative experience: Instructor was beyond rude and made me feel so stupid for no reason. Everything I did was “wrong.” It was unbelievable and definitely don’t recommend!!
Negative experience: The staff is rude. The instructor I had for one practice was not the best teacher but maybe it was an off day. Every time I called however, I dreaded it, simple questions brought on attitude. Many people recommended CC’s saying it was easier than the dmv. I’d rather go to the dmv 5x over. I’m looking into a place in Vernon now.
Negative experience: The staff are rude and make a big deal over five minutes late. I know five minutes late is still late but it’s not the end of the world. People have it way worse in this world than to make being five minutes late a big deal.
Fantastic experience: I attended back when CC was only an instructor and beginning the process of taking over the school. I've now sent my girl friends sister here too. Staff are nice, the cars are well cared for. Depending on the day sure there can be a crowd but that's to be expected. They also help to teach you about being on time. They won't let you into the room if you're late. I am one of the best drivers in the family and it is because of CC. :)
Fantastic experience: passed my license test in one go. basically cured my driving anxiety. nice staff and great experience, would reccomend to any of my peers.
Fantastic experience: We came to CC's after our child had taken a full driver's ed program with another organization, and failed the DMV road test. She learned so much in a single two-hour lesson with CC that she took notes when they returned from driving. A week later, she tested again -- this time at CC's school -- and passed. I wish we'd come to CC's the first time around... but glad we found her for Round Two. As to the earlier comment left by someone else, it's true the furniture isn't posh. But the facilities are clean, the staff friendly, and the focus is on getting your child licensed and safely on the road, which is the goal. Highly recommend.
Negative experience: The place is disgusting. Furniture from the 1970's, needs a cleaning. The instructional room is cramped. They brought in the same parent, to share about the loss of her child, for two different classes.
