Brights Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Fabulous driving school. Very efficient and well run.
Negative experience: Horrible school
Negative experience: Don’t go here. The teacher is mean to everyone and you don’t learn. Do not give this b-word any more money. She will spend it on alcohol which she drinks in class. Guaranteed waste of money and time.
Negative experience: The instructor Sandra Larson is extremely rude to all her students. Doesn’t let you ask questions and gets mad at any email you send her. She makes it almost impossible to learn and get your license on time. She also has been drinking alcohol in class and being inappropriate in our road lessons. DO NOT GO HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. ITS NOT WORTH IT.
Negative experience: Whatever you do, I repeat do not, DO NOT send your child here. Sandra Larson is the rudest lady you'll ever meet. I attended her Zoom classes and she drinks alcohol during class, swears, and is very, very nasty. Do not waste your money here.
Fantastic experience: Everyone was so helpful and understanding. They have some of the best and most entertaining teachers out there. Very professional and honest with your driving. I had an overall great time. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: Thank you Sandra for helping me learn & get my driving licence!! I liked your system & work.
Negative experience: Brights Driving School was recommended to me by Lawrence RMV to try to get help for my friend. He is elderly and wants to have a road test because he had an accident, and it was his fault. His family took his plates from his car so he isn't able to drive. I tried to explain this to Sandra but she made me feel like I was taking some kind of advantage of an elderly person. She would not answer any of my questions, and went behind my back to call and question a few different people. So if you read this Sandra Larson, please know that I don't think you are very consumer friendly. This person and his family are my friends, and I have their permission to pursue this problem. Sandra, I tried to explain the situation to you several times but you didn't want to hear it. You told me you were too busy and would get back to me that evening, which you never did. I gave you a telephone number to call the family but you called COA instead to get information about me and my friend. You would have nothing to do with what I was trying to tell you. I told you my friend is confused and I gave you his family member's telephone number. I totally understand your concerns about public safety and your client being safe. My friend was not your client yet because you didn't want to hear anything I had to say. All I wanted was some info on how to go about getting him the competency road test that he so desperately wants. You took it upon yoursel to investigate me and my responsibilty in this matter. You never accepted my friend as your client so you had NO business moving forward with your so-called concerns. COA called me directly and wanted to know what was going on with you. I believe you think I am trying to take advantage of a senior, which is total BS. I suggest YOU try and listen to all the facts before you take such negative actions!
Fantastic experience: Great school to do road lessons with, very helpful and learned a lot. The instructor was very easy to work with
Negative experience: I recommend checking to see who your driving instructor is for the road test. I failed my test to a guy (Phil) yelling for me to go over the speed limit and commenting on my attire when the test was done almost perfectly. At the ed he threw his pen across the car and told me to get the hell out. I am a good driver and I know it which is why i passed my second test with flying colors. My second test was with a nice woman who was straight to the point and never lost her cool.
Positive experience: I have two sons that went through Bright's and overall very pleased. They do try and accommodate you and assist when they can. They keep you updated on events like the road test. You do have responsibilities to make sure you are also on top of your own items and schedules. I believe with both sons there might have been one mix up or cancelled driving class. They picked our sons up at the house and used their cars for the tests. They scheduled the tests locally and basically we made one trip with each son to the MV for paperwork. My wife and I really did very little, our sons and the school did it all. GW - Ipswich
