Negative experience: Do NOT WASTE your money! They price gouge for an insane amount and if your student needs more practice, they neglect to tell you its hundreds more! The communication has been HORRENDOUS! We waited months to hear from them and when I called we were told, "you don't need to call us, we'll call you!" Soooo, we waited and waited again and when I finally called AGAIN, I was told "why didn't you just call? Why did you wait?" These people in different departments don't NOT communicate! One doesn't know what the other is doing! So now almost $2k later, and my son still has NO license! RIDICULOUS! Now we still have to go thru MVD. Please go to Northstar or anywhere else but here! Highway Robery!

Negative experience: Cash grab, instructors are not good teachers and are focused on keeping you at the school as much as possible. Not a consumer friendly business, be warned.

Fantastic experience: We are so grateful for this amazing team of professionals! They gave my Son a solid driving foundation. I feel so good knowing he has this training and he really has great driving skills and a safe attitude. I highly recommend their program.

Fantastic experience: Driving MBA is tremendous! We have had two kids go through and pass their program. The schedulers and instructors a very knowledgeable and professional. Their standard is not just to help your kid get licensed, but help your child become the safest driver possible. The three defensive driving sessions prevented my daughter from getting into an accident. We can't put a price on that.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Driving MBA program. My daughter was the recipient of a scholarship. The knowledge and hands on training is excellent! I have been saving money since my daughter took the class, so my son can have the same opportunity to experience the Driving MBA program. My daughter's Step Mom was so impressed with the program she enrolled her son. I have recommended this program so often I have lost count!

Fantastic experience: The best thing a parent can invest in! MBA: so organized, so professional, and ALWAYS places the safety of our children FIRST which is most critical at this delicate time! If you are considering them as choice, you must sign up! I encourage you; this will be the BEST decision you make!

Negative experience: The Scottsdale location was horrible. I wasted $500.00 on them and they kept telling me that I wasn't learning anything. I practiced non stop outside of the school. Yet I still wasn't getting anywhere with theses guys. And talk about belittling someone. They kept calling me "my dear" I have a name! So use it! Just because you're a driving instructor doesn't give you the right to act all high and mighty. I will never return to that school.

I have checked our records and your name as listed on this review does not match anyone in our database. We do have one individual with the same last name as you presented, so I have to assume it is you. First of all I am sorry you feel this way, however, after reviewing your entire file, there are circumstances when students do not retain information, and you presented with those circumstances. We would teach concepts and you did not retain the information, nor were you getting any practice in between your lessons with us. We do not teach individuals "just enough to pass a test." We have standards that are, quite frankly, higher than the standards at the MVD. Driving is a dangerous activity and we want to make sure that an individual passes the test, but far more important that they are safe and responsible on the road. On your 4th on-road lesson the instructor had to redirect your steering 14 times during the lesson. You went months without a lesson and when you came back you had little to no driving practice in between. One of the key factors in learning how to drive is that you are practicing what you are learning. Practice is absolutely essential or you will not gain proficiency in the skill. It is no different than anything we as human beings learn: unless we practice, we do not gain the skill. We always do our very best to help our students be successful at driving We are brutally honest about a student's skill level and how they are progressing. We don't tell students (or parents for that matter) what they want to hear. We tell them what they need to hear and apparently that offended you. You haven't been to us since July of 2016 and I never had a conversation with you about your frustration, so if you want to have a conversation about your lessons with DrivingMBA, I would welcome your call.

Positive experience: This is a fabulous driving school with excellent teachers and a great program. Sadly I cannot give them 5 stars because their scheduling is sometimes difficult. For example, I signed up for a parking class for an extra charge and was not told that that class would only be offered one Sunday a month at 9 in the morning at a location that is 45 minutes away from my house. I did have to sign a form saying that everything was non-refundable once I had paid. This means I have to drive almost 2 hours at a time that is very inconvenient for our family to take this class or I lose the money. For the amount of money that we paid for this course I feel that the scheduling should be more flexible and more times should be available at all locations.

Stephanie,

We are glad to hear that you had a good experience with our school. We only offer the Parking Clinic once a month in Scottsdale for a whole host of reasons, but if your student has not taken the clinic and you are interested in getting a refund for it, please send me an e-mail and we will take care of that for you.

Positive experience: I have also posted a review of this business at the Scottsdale location (my daughter attended sessions at both). For more details, see review at that location. Pros: Comprehensive program with classroom instruction, simulators, and on-road instruction with excellent instructors. Cons: Poor administration and customer service skills. A lot of "scare" tactics about how dangerous driving is--depending on your child's personality, this can be good or bad. By the end of this program, my daughter hated driving. We are trying another driving program now to help her gain the confidence she needs.
