Fantastic experience: I started taking classes with Donna in April 2024. I had no prior driving experience, except for a few lessons I'd taken with another school that's gone out of business since then. I had a few choices of different schools, but Techniques Made Easy seems to have the best pricing for lesson packages, rather than paying for individual lessons. Once the lessons began, Donna helped me build confidence and develop my basic driving skills. Over time, she then helped me fine tune what needed some more work, like parallel parking and 3 point turns. Then, she helped me get a grip on other things that made me nervous, like driving on main roads and changing lanes. She's very professional and very personable at the same time, easy to talk to. She pays close attention to areas a student might need to improve in, but is very patient and offers guidance on how to correct them. She'll teach you so many essential things, like proper seat and steering wheel and mirror positioning, and for me a really big one was learning how to use hand over hand technique for better control of steering. I'm so grateful that I found the right instructor to show me the way. I had really bad anxiety about driving when the lessons started over a year ago, but continued booking lessons to gain more experience and build muscle memory. As we continued driving together, I kept making more and more progress. A lot of things she taught me involved steps, and she was consistent in making sure I knew all the steps and which order to do them. Through my entire learning journey Donna was very encouraging, and any questions I had for her as a potentially new driver, she always gave her honest opinion. Fast forward to May of this year, I finally felt more prepared and comfortable with my driving and told her I was ready for the road test. There were a few breaks in our weekly lessons last year due to financial stress, which is why lessons went on for over a year. If I could've afforded more frequent classes, I think I would've taken my road test a lot sooner. But in any case, better late than never. And what do you know...I passed on my first try! I hear a lot of people don't pass on the first attempt, so let that be a testament to the fact that Donna is a fantastic instructor and will truly prepare you to be a smart and cautious driver.

Fantastic experience: I was in a position where I felt that I could never get my license. I had a ton of built up anxiety around the road test. The way that Donna was able to make me feel so comfortable and confident with the use of her steps is the reason why I was finally able to pass my roast test with only 5 points off. Easily the best driving instructor on Long Island. Make sure to book a lesson if you want the best driving school experience possible.

Fantastic experience: Best instructor, Makes you feel comfortable and is paitent. Helped me and all my siblings with our driving skills. Very caring about her students and creates a safe learning environment. She goes through everything carefully and with a full explanation and helps make you become a smooth driver. 10/10

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the way Donna, handle her end of the business. Never on time, always late, never bothers to call to say she's late, but worse her communication is horrendous. On top of the in a nice way she degraded my son. Go someplace else. She should retired.

Negative experience: Should be 2 1/2 stars. Was barely comfortable…a MASK shouldn’t be required when it isn’t obligated anymore. Plus, if you’re that sensitive about it when the rates are drastically low in this area then you shouldn’t even be in business. The urgent request to keep the mask above the nose when it inadvertently comes down when speaking was absurd, especially since it ISN’T required on the test itself. This aspect affects the TRUST within the students. Instructions on the website should be more concise as well. As an Instructor you should want your students to feel as comfortable as possible…so they can preform better…to their fullest potential.

Fantastic experience: Since the first contact to the last the service provided was very professional. All the techniques they provided me were valuable and really EASY to learn. I will suggest first time drivers to use them = but I will suggest specially to those that have drive before in another country since they will help you to "polish" your driving skills to pass the driving test.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school. The instructor Donna is one of the best instructors you will ever find. She has all the qualities any new inexperienced driver like me wants. Very calm, never gets upsets no matter how many times you repeat a mistake . Her driving techniques are also the best. From making turns to parallel parking,she makes everything seem like a piece of cake. Learned a great deal from her and would recommend her to anyone!
