Preferred Driving & Testing

Negative experience: Failed the parking section of the road test because the instructor didn't clarify that the parallel parking was apparently NOT parallel parking and just backing in. He told me I did it completely right and what I'd done would've been right in an actual parallel parking scenario but because he didn't clarify, I failed. This was a while ago maybe things changed but I wouldn't know because why would I go back and take a test with someone who is unable to clearly tell me what I'm meant to do.

Negative experience: Not sure about the driving school but the road test instructor is very rude and unprofessional. I got the feeling he will fail everyone their first try to get an extra $60 out of you. I would suggest A&A in Jackson for the road test. In other words don't waist your time with this arrogant ##shole.

Negative experience: I can't get ahold of anyone, always have to leave a VM and no one ever calls back. I sent in a registration and payment, no confirmation of receiving it. Very disappointed in the lack of communication.

Fantastic experience: Have gotten nothing but POSITIVE feedback from young adults that have gone through Preferred Driving. Instructors are knowledgeable and patient. Wish I had lived in Charlotte when my boys took drivers ed.

Fantastic experience: I just took my driving test for the second time today, the first time being with a different company and not a very good experience. I decided to switch it up and go with Preferred driving and testing the second time around, and I am so glad I did. Today I had Jeff as my instructor, and I am very pleased. I was extremely anxious, and he made me feel comfortable the entire time and at ease. He also let me know at the end any mistakes I made, in depth and how I can improve from those mistakes. Highly recommend this place for your driving test!
