Broadway Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: This is no longer a functioning driving school. This business is closed.
Negative experience: I have tried calling frank 6 times today and no response….(literally a beep and then hung up) ….is there a different number to get in touch with frank ? Or did something happen to his business or himself?
Negative experience: Waste of money
Fantastic experience: My daughter just got her driver's permit this week and had her first lesson with Frank today. He has unwavering patience and is very detailed at explaining everything. He is very professional, funny and a great teacher. We have already scheduled another lesson next week. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this school the teacher was funny, and took the time out to make sure thing's were understood. Mr. Frank was an excellent teacher and I admire school's, tips and driving!
Fantastic experience: Due to a few accidents I had a few years ago, I had to take a four hour behind the wheel driving course as apart of the 3-n-3. Prior to taking this class, I knew I could use some pointers, but was not happy about having to take a four hour class. I called Frank with Broadway driving along with another school, the other school was very short with me over the phone and also couldn't get me in for at least a month. But when I spoke to Frank, he was very nice, answered all my questions over the phone (and I had a quite a few), and was able to get me in within a week! During the four hours Frank and I spent together, he not only taught/showed me how to pass the road test at the DMV, but he also went beyond that and showed me other things to improve my driving all the way around. He explained things very clearly and the time we had seemed to fly by. I would definitely recommend Frank with Broadway driving to anyone at any skill level. He will customize the lesson to what you need and make sure the time he spends with you is time well spent. THANK YOU AGAIN FRANK!!! You and your teachings will stick with me and helped me regain confidence behind the wheel.
Fantastic experience: If you are reading through the reviews to see which driving school to attend then you have found it. I have been driving every day for work for years, got into a couple of accidents and was ordered to take a 4 hour behind the wheel class. I thought great now I have to take some stupid class were someone is going to tell you how to drive. This was quite the opposite, Franks teaching is like no other, the 4 hours seem to just cruise by, and at the end even thinking this would be a stupid class I learned more than I would have believed. Thanks Frank!!!!
Fantastic experience: As a person who's 18 and hasn't driven in 2 years, it was hard to admit that there was trouble. Frank was a very welcoming spirit who taught me a lot. Each lesson being well worth it, from any form of driving question, he had an answer for all of them. After taking 4 lessons, I built back up my confidence and gained a new perspective on driving, both professionally and efficiently. Definitely take a lesson from Frank's book. You won't regret it! -Matthew N
Fantastic experience: Frank's driving tuition is truly exceptional. I cannot emphasise enough how much Frank's teaching is unlike any other driving instructors and schools. I have been through 4 different driving schools and am able to say I learnt allot things that taught me everything except real life driving skills. I urge anyone to try Frank and see for yourself the difference .
Fantastic experience: This is a late review but I've been meaning to write this for awhile. I took classes with Broadway Driving School when preparing for my license because the instructor Frank seemed to really enjoy what he did and was very proud of his work. Every single lesson was customized to exactly what I needed to work on and Frank was fantastic at spotting little things that no one would realize but they were things that needed to be worked on or learned. He's very good at teaching how to drive. I ended up only have to take a few lessons and got my license on the very first attempt. The lady who tested me actually even said "I hardly have people do so well on this test so you must have learned well." I owe all of that to Frank's Broadway Driving School because I barely drove outside of the classes with him. Really happy I decided to pay and take classes with him. My wife and our friend need to get their license as well and I am making sure Frank teaches them as well because he doesn't just teach you how to pass the test but you really learn how to be a great defensive safe driver.
Fantastic experience: So far, I have taken 2 driving courses with Frank, and look forward to taking more. Frank is thorough, thoughtful, and really takes the time to explain what he's teaching and why what you learned in Driver's Ed is crap. This is a class that doesn't waste time with "how many seconds to wait before moving" and other subjective, ever changing garbage. No, this class focuses on real life, practical information that drivers can actually use. Had I learned to drive from Frank in the first place, I probably could have spared myself a few tickets. If you live in the St. Pete area and need to learn to drive, I cannot reccomend this school enough.
Fantastic experience: Do you lack confidence in your ability to drive? Do you feel anxiety behind the wheel? Are you tired of your friends or family making fun of you for not having a license? Wish you were "normal" like everyone else that can easily pass their test calmly and ace it on the first try? These are all things I felt, and I dealt with it for 8 long years, I avoided my test out of the fear of failure. I am 26 years old and have a 4 yr old boy and expecting a baby girl in 3 1/2 months. I could never take my son to the park, go grocery shopping, go to a doctor appointment, a friends house or anywhere on my own for that matter. It was tearing my relationship apart never being able to take care of things a mother should, I beat myself up daily. Then I found this school and the best instructor anyone could ever ask for. He helped me become a confident driver, taught me in a way I know that no one else could have. He made me feel comfortable and gave me the skills to not only pass my drivers exam, but pass with a perfect score. Never did I think I would have the ability to pass, or even have the confidence to drive the way I had driven today. I now hold my license proudly and I owe it all to Frank. I would have never done it without him and I only took 7 lessons total with him. If you want to pass the test, you want Frank it's that simple.
