Fantastic experience: Mrs. Mixon was amazing with my son. Texted me after his first lesson to let me know he did a great job (my husband picked him up). By the third lesson, she let me know he was doing a great job and ready to take his test, so we got on the ball getting that scheduled even though he had a few more lessons with her. LSDA provides a great service to inexperienced drivers. I believe instructor taught driving is a beneficial step in a teenager getting their license because it is an unbiased party in the vehicle with them and not a parent constantly harping on them. He took his test and passed and even got a "great job" from the tester. Highly recommend LifeSaver Driving Academy.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience with Life Saver Driving Academy! As a first time older driver I knew the best way to ever get me on the road would to find a really great driving school. Carolina is very knowledgeable, patent and kind and gave me the confidence to finally get my license and pass the road test on the first try.

Fantastic experience: Ms.Mixon was excellent with our son who has high functioning autism and type one diabetes. He felt very comfortable learning from her. We saw tremendous improvement in his driving skills after completing the six session course. His confidence with driving has grown. Prior to his lessons he was very insecure and a bit scared to drive, despite having drivers education in high school. Plus he used their car for the test and got in an extra lesson before the test. He passed ! I would definitely recommend Life Saver Academy.

Fantastic experience: This was the best decision our family ever made for our daughter Graycee. We tried to help her at first and it wad not working and we knew safety was our number 1 priority especially with how driving goes. Graycee had a lot of anxiety around driving, but finding John and getting her lessons eased her mind and she learned so much. After a few lessons it was easier for us to get out and drive with her and directing her if we noticed things. John was so patient with her and made getting her license that much more easier. She was able to pass her road test on the first try and we knew it was possible because of the help of John and Carolina. We appreciate everything and so glad this exists to help teens.

Fantastic experience: I did a 3 day session (6 hours) and I learned things I never thought I would learn. Some things my older sister didn’t even know. Everything I was taught came out with a good outcome. I passed my drivers test, and now I know I’m a good driver just by going and taking classes with John. I will forever be thankful.

Fantastic experience: John is very patient with you, doesn't scold, and is very helpful when it comes to tips and tricks to learning the road and taking the driver's test.

Fantastic experience: John was great to work with. He was very kind and patient to our daughter. The day of her driving test another of John’s students was there and got a perfect score on her test. When our daughter completed her test she had a huge smile on her face and said she got a perfect score. We will be using him again soon when our son is ready to start driving.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience working with John. Prior to her on the road practice sessions, my daughter felt nervous about attempting the road test. After her sessions, she was confident and did extremely well on her road test. I feel she is a stronger driver with the tips John provided in her sessions. We would absolutely recommend John's services!

Negative experience: MOMS BEWARE! John (the owner) was very unprofessional and rude to me on two occasions. HE LITERALLY YELLED AT ME and would not stop. I can't say he's aggressive to all women, but I can say he was aggressive to me. I would never put my child in a vehicle with him again. On the first instance, we had a lesson scheduled on a Saturday, but my child had a last-minute school activity come up on that day. Obviously school comes first, so I needed to reschedule. I called John two days in advance to reschedule the lesson. He raised his voice and told me that it costs him money to reschedule lessons (even though we prepaid the entire $400 for the lessons up front), and that he was going to begin charging a $100 cancellation fee. Because John was so offended by my need to reschedule, I declined to schedule another lesson at that time. My plan was to give it another shot over summer break when there would be less chance of something coming up that would cause an issue. I assumed he must be having a bad day or something. Today I got a text from John saying that he had waited for us at the location where he meets student drivers. Y'all I am sure that we did not have a lesson scheduled. I know that because he made me feel very uncomfortable about needing to reschedule before, so I purposely didn't schedule another lesson at that time. My child also had a doctor's appointment today that has been scheduled for six months, so it is unlikely that I would have missed that on my calendar. I'm not saying I never make mistakes, we're all human. But seriously, I didn't want to reschedule the last time I talked to him, so I know I didn't. I called John to try and explain that there had been a mistake. HE LITERALLY YELLED AT ME. I don't mean he raised his voice, he YELLED. So much that I couldn't get a word in. He said, and I quote, "I have never made a mistake in the eight years I have been doing this!" At that point it was almost funny. Who says that? I tried to end the conversation by saying that I could tell things were getting tense, but that made things much worse. He got even louder and yelled that I was trying to blame this on him. He would not stop yelling, so I just hung up.

Mrs Ashley called the day before her scheduled lesson and said she needed to postpone that lesson. Yes, I did point out that postponements the day before a lesson is harmful to me because I can't put another customer (to earn my fee) in that time slot that quickly. However, I did not raise my voice and I did tell her I WOULD NOT charge the cancellation fee. Her additional lessons were scheduled by her when we first met just as with all my customers. At her next schedule lesson time I waited 30 minutes for her and she didn't show up. I texted her to find out what was going on. She attempted to blame me for incorrect scheduling. When I refused to accept the blame she became irate and hung up. On no occasion did I raise my voice or act belligerent in any way. Her numerous comments stating that I was yelling are not true. Afterwards I sent her a text stating that we could no longer do business with her and then I sent her a refund for the remainder of her funds on account. I did not charge her any cancellation fee which is my right to do so. Her comments in her review are only an attempt to harm me. All of my customers know that I am very patient and kind with my students and that there is never any scolding done by me or any of our instructors. There are numerous positive reviews on our website and they are are written word for word by the customers. I have each one on paper in the customers handwriting. If I found that any of our instructors had any tendency to scold students they would be fired. Also her comment "who says that" about a comment that I have never made a mistake in 8 years is not accurate... What I said to her was that I have never missed a scheduled lesson in 8 years which is the truth.

Negative experience: They misquoted me over the phone to begin with then told me I should have looked at the website because it was all on there. I didn't realize I needed to go to the website to verify this information. I am very dissatisfied with the poor quality of customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

All of our prices are on our website and would we do not quote anything different by telephone. This lady really can't be a wittiness to our level of service because she never paid for or took any of our driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: As a student driver who was scared of driving I can say, take lessons from here. I was neither once uncomfortable while driving with my instructor , and learned so much. The tips and tricks I learned from here are amazing and I am now comfortable in driving.
