Brentwood Driver Training - Franklin classroom

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Brentwood Driving School enough. It’s worth the investment and my daughter who got her license today said she is thankful we had her take the class. From the beginning they were thorough with what to expect and they offer. Having someone else teach the exact rules of the road (let’s be honest us 30+ years of driving have taught us some bad habits and we have forgot some rules) and take her for her driving test - no waiting on the DMV was worth it’s weight it gold! I highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: They asked for another review during our call today and I’m happy to oblige. After not informing us of my child’s accident under their care last summer, we foolishly decided to give BDT another chance and inquire about scheduling DL tests. I left a message yesterday and had my call returned by what can only be described as a grown man throwing a hissy fit. I was told to go the dmv for the test because of our previous 1-star review of their handling of the accident. His only purpose for calling was to throw the review back at us. At no point did he want to have an adult conversation about the incident. At no point did he speak to me like a caring business owner or even a man of integrity. They have every right to turn us away if that’s how they want to conduct their business. However the level of disrespect displayed during that call was beyond unacceptable up to and including the part where I was hung up on. So, if you’re a parent reading reviews, deciding if this is a good option for your kid- I would urge you to think twice if respect, feedback, and communication is important to you.

Fantastic experience: Becky, one of the front desk associates, was always clear and polite. She and other associates worked with my schedule and sometimes my instructor would change his schedule to fit my appointments. My instructor Scott was very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions as they came up. I'm a woman in my 50s who has never driven and he helped me understand where I was going wrong. I was able to pass the road test on my first attempt. Thank you Brentwood Driver Training

Fantastic experience: Great experience for my daughter. Colleen took her out on the road test and was great with her. It was so easy and quick to get my daughter's driver's license at the dmv having already taken the road test. Well worth the money.

Negative experience: Had two students in training at the Franklin location the week of 6/24/2024. During one of the driving sessions, my son was rear ended at a 4 way stop. It was the other drivers fault, however the instructor and school never notified us of this occurring. Not sure why they would think that they should not notify parents when their 15yr old minor child driving for the first time is involved in a motor vehicle accident under their watch.

Positive experience: I went to this place a few weeks ago, and after I took the class, I took my permit test, and I was able to pass thanks to this class

Fantastic experience: Quality driver's ed with complete in-car experience. They don't putter around in neighborhoods, they teach real-world driving experiences.

Fantastic experience: We had to make a last-minute change of locations for the training. The staff at was more than accommodating and made the change easily and quickly. Appreciate their flexibility.

Negative experience: IT ONLY GIVES YOU 5% OFF INSURANCE NOT WORTH IT also some companies like mine didn’t even give my any discount for it along with that i didn’t really learn anything new either waste of time

Fantastic experience: My daughter took the Brentwood driver training course over the summer at their Franklin location. She had an amazing experience and learned a lot. She was well prepared for her permit test. She has just completed the driving lesson portion and has gained a lot of confidence. They worked with us to schedule the driving lessons when it was convenient for us. They were able to pick her up at school and she was able to end at our house or at her after school activity. When I called to schedule the class, they were friendly and able to answer all of my questions.

Fantastic experience: I signed up my younger sister with Brentwood driver training in Franklin, and the experience was so good I'm planning on signing up my daughter when she's ready! There's no other drivers education in the area that I would ever use.

Fantastic experience: As I said in my review of the main business 'Brentwood Driver Training', they are awesome. They really help in teaching people how to drive and to help them get their permits or licenses. They show you what could really happen if you aren't driving properly and not paying attention or are intoxicated. It's a lot of fun and in a perfect location near some awesome attractions like Sky Zone, Laser War, and Goofballs! Good choice for a location! Thanks for the awesome week Franklin Driver Training!
