Safety 1st Driving Academy

Fantastic experience: Amazing Instructors, driving times are very easy to book and I got my done very quickly!! I also passed my driving test first try!

Fantastic experience: Shane at Safety 1st was amazing. He was an incredibly clear communicator, he always repeated his instructions. I went with Shane to the RMV to take my road test. Shane‘s instruction was perfect preparation for the road test. I passed on my first try. He knew all of the examiners at the plymouth rmv by name, along with each examiners personality. As we were driving up to the test, he was pointing out the road that the examiner would most likely take me on , when we got into the DMV parking lot, he explained the entire test again and he pointed out where there would be implied stops on the test that the examiner most likely would not mention. I also had special circumstances surrounding when I could do my driving hours, Shane worked with me to make sure that I could get all of my hours with him in a timely manner. He was consistently friendly and kind but never hesitated to correct me when I made a mistake or a potential mistake. Shane was a wonderful teacher, consistent and clear with his communication, and incredibly respectful.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience through out the process of getting my license with Shane and Caity! Shane taught the Driver’s Ed course very throughly and I knew everything I needed to know. I did all my drive times with Caity and she was always so sweet and helpful with corrections. Scheduling drive times was very easy and I did about 6 each month, allowing me to finish drive times in 2 months! Both were very patient with me and I would recommend any upcoming student driver’s to learn with Safety First!

An academy school for driving, and I must say it was an incredibly positive experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I reached out for information, the owner Sean went above and beyond to assist me in every way possible. First and foremost, what stood out was the owner's genuine dedication to helping me. Instead of just focusing on making a sale or getting money from me, he prioritized providing me with the information I needed to make an informed decision about driving lessons. This level of honesty and transparency is rare to find in any industry, let alone in the driving school sector. Throughout our interactions, the owner Sean demonstrated a deep understanding of the driving education process. He patiently answered all my questions and clarified any doubts I had regarding the courses offered, pricing, scheduling, and even provided valuable insights into the overall learning experience at the academy. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the personalized attention I received. Despite being busy, the owner always made time to address my concerns promptly. Moreover, the owner's willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed. Overall, my experience with the owner of this academy school for driving was exceptionally pleasant and informative. I would highly recommend this academy to anyone seeking professional and reliable driving education.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, talks like a truck driver. Would leave me in the car for 20 minutes and would go inside of someone’s house and just leave me in the car. Would yell at me for any minor mistake as a student driver. Was late 30 minutes nearly everytime. Don’t waste your money here

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a great driving school choose safety first getting all the knowledge from the classroom to putting your skills on the road shane is a great instructor and because of his great teaching I passed my road test the first time so definitely choose safety first

Positive experience: Our daughter attended the driver's ed class online via zoom. She then completed her driving instruction with Shane, despite COVID-19 restrictions. Everything went very well and she scheduled her driving time online each month without any issues. The whole experience was seamless and she passed her test the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: My son is about to complete his last driving hour at Safety 1st Driving Academy and I cant say enough good things about them. After our drivers ed through the school was canceled due to COVID I was releived to find a program that offered a online class. Safety 1st offers high quality classroom instruction, and Shane is just amazing. He is professional, and goes above and beyond to accommodate his students. I highly recommend Safety 1st, and will enroll my other son in the future. You won't be disappointed!
