From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and helped me feel confident behind the wheel. The instructor was skilled at tailoring his teaching approach to my needs and learning style. Whether I needed extra help with parallel parking or merging onto the highway, he was able to provide personalized instruction that helped me overcome my challenges and make progress. Fantastic experience: Over the past 6 months, my daughter has had great driver trainings with Carlos! He came highly recommended to me about 6 years ago from a colleague and I kept his info for when it was our time. Needless to say, the high recommendation I held onto came in so handy, and we are so grateful! Carlos has always been prompt, so kind, provided great feedback and helped to instill confidence in my daughter along the way. And today, he was so so excited and celebrated as she passed her driver's test with a 100% PERFECT SCORE!!! So so happy to have him be part of our journey and we'll miss the monthly interactions. We'll be using him in about 6 months when our son is ready for training! The only improvement I'd say is before we were signed up with Academy of Driving, I reached out multiple times (voicemail, web form inquiry and email) and didn't get a reply initially. Once we were set/scheduled with a driving package, it was a non-issue which is great. Would highly recommend the Academy of Driving, and especially Carlos!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of working with Joshua and his staff from this company and they provided outstanding customer service and excellent training for my daughter. We had an incredibly small window to accomplish the training and test prior to my daughter going away to school... Joshua and his staff accommodated our abbreviated timeline and together we were able to get my daughter through their course, complete the necessary number of driving hours and get her test completed - she got a 97%. Joshua was very relatable to my daughter and she enjoyed his style, communication, humor, and expertise. She immediately felt comfortable with him and quickly mastered the techniques he taught her. I can't recommend this company enough, they take a lot of pride in the service they provide to our teens and strive hard to make sure that both the parents and their child are well informed of the process and what it will take to succeed. Joshua is also very intuitive to the needs of the new driver and quickly identifies their shortcomings and tailors his training to address those concerns and communicates those issues to us parents so that we can work with our kids on them as well. Joshua and his team were highly recommended to us by our friends and I am glad we took their advice and worked with this company to get our daughter her license. Give them a call and start the process, you will be glad that you did and the results will speak for themselves!

Fantastic experience: My daughter just finished all her lessons with Carlos and recently received her license. His patience and calm demeanor helped with all the anxieties she was having beforehand. He showed up at our door, introduced himself and the route that they would be taking, every single time. She finished her first instruction feeling relieved and ready for the ones that followed. Carlos did a great job and I hope that you would consider him for your new driver!

Fantastic experience: I'm in my early 20s and had no experience driving, but with what I learned here, I passed my driver's license test with no problem, and had really practical, thorough teaching on driving as well! I had an experience that met the sweet spot between being serious, mature, and still enjoyable, as a new driver! If you're in the area, I highly recommend learning your driving skills here!

Fantastic experience: Yay for Josh and The Academy of Driving! Two teen drivers. Two TOTALLY different personalities. (One needed a dose of caution, the other a dose of confidence!) Both are now courteous, careful, considerate drivers because of their time with Josh. Highly recommend this amazing company to any other nervous parents out there! They made the learning fun and the time productive. They made the maze of DMV paperwork and rules easy to maneuver...AND I didn't lose any sleep worrying about my babies. (This is a HUGE compliment.) Recommend highly and with absolute confidence!

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with their services. My instructor was Carlos and he did a magnificent job at getting me ready for the DMV test in a short span of time. They accepted my booking at very short notice, and still made sure I get the required sessions and a complete understanding of the BTW test. Carlos was very patient with me to answer all my questions and provide me repeated instructions and training on areas where I wasn't confident upon. Thanks to him and The Academy of Driving for getting me ready for the test. I made through the test smoothly with very minimal mistakes and am a licensed California Driver now.
