Fantastic experience: Omar has been such a wonderful driving instructor for my child. From the very beginning, he answered the phone himself when I first contacted him personally put us on his schedule - unlike other driving schools where you have to book online and may get a different instructor each time. He is incredibly calm and patient, which really helped my child feel confident behind the wheel. I also appreciated how he always took a moment to check in with me before and after each lesson so I knew how things were going. The biggest blessing was that he personally escorted my child to the DMV road test, and with his guidance and encouragement, my child passed on the very first try! We are so grateful for Omar and the care he put into teaching.

Fantastic experience: I took lessons in santa cruz and took my test at the Capitola DMV. I failed my test before but my instructor was very helpful and I passed my test on the first try after being taught by him.

Fantastic experience: I have taken a 2 hour practice session and then my final behind the wheel test. My instructor has helped me practice several scenarios that alerted me to my points of unawareness. Having figured out all my mistakes in the practice sessions, I could clear my test with confidence of being aware of my strong points and pitfalls. I recommend the training sessions with A-Plaza for going through the kind of training that prepares one for the hardest scenarios, making the final test a cake walk.

Fantastic experience: I have very positive experience with this driving school. My brother took classes before with other school, and as he is new in USA, he has hard to understand. Because as I know one does not need to know English that much just to follow driving instructions. I talked with Garry in school about this and he scheduled Tom. Tom was patient and nice. My brother took couple of classes with Tom and passed his test in first attempt. Thanks to Tom and Garry. You both are doing great job.

Fantastic experience: Im not the type of person that writes reviews but I would really like to express my gratitud for Tom. I got my driving license several years ago in San Francisco but never got over my fobia of driving. Therefore I got to spend endless hours under the sun, rain, or cold waiting for public transportation. Other people tried giving me lessons but it went horrible. Driving was something I tough I was never going to be able to accomplish. With Tom’s help I’m finally driving because he is very professional and will give you tips that will make you feel comfortable while driving. Tom has a lot of patient and experience. Trust me you are in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children received lessons from A Plaza driving school. The instructors were very nice and showed up on time to pick my kids up. The pricing is extremely fair and they do not try to milk you for extra lessons. They will tell you how many lessons they feel your child needs after the initial lesson and evaluation. They treat everyone on an individual basis so there's no quota that they are trying to make. They are very honest which I really appreciate. My kids said that the instructors were helpful and very calm and nice. My daughter took her lesson during the pandemic and said they took a lot of precautions to ensure the car was clean and sanitized. Both of my kids felt more confident in their driving and felt the instructors were very fair in the grading and made good recommendations. My son passed his driving test on the very first time which was at the Fresno DMV (due to DMV appt availability) and said he felt that his instructor properly prepared him. Due to the pandemic my daughter has yet to take her driving test but feels very confident from the instruction she received. I would absolutely recommend this driving school.
