Unique Driving Testers

Fantastic experience: We chose Unique Driving Testers for our boys to take their driving test. The tester (Tracy) was very kind and supportive answering all our questions before the test started. They leave the parking course set up at the Episc Church on Cook and Saginaw. We practiced often. The road course was short going on familiar roads around Grand Blanc. She went over anything that the boys missed and explained why any points were deducted. Both boys passed! I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Ron was my daughter’s tester. He was great—Very calming in the way he talked to her and explained things to her. Talked with a lady over the phone and thru text to get information. I think Ron said her name was Teri. Making an appointment was very easy via phone and texting and we were able to get in the next day. It was a very smooth transaction.

Fantastic experience: Was very satisfied with my experience and with my driving instructor. Highly recommended. The price is very affordable.

Negative experience: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! My brother went there to get his driver test done, the aftermath to get the driver license is the absolute worst! My brother had the worst instructor. They don't call "Paralle parking", they call it "Reverse blind spot parking." And you're suppose to pull forward for the parallel parking, but my brother keeps on getting an automatic fail every time just to get the car straight!! My brother failed 3 times because they change the rules every time. One test, I was able to ride for the driving test, not the basic. My mother couldn't ride for the driver test and it was 27° outside. What is she supposed to do?! Sit in the cold? Absolutely not! I had to come get my mom so she could stay warm. Absolute worst! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Negative experience: my son tested and failed 2 times in 1 week which is fine the problem is: the 1st time he went through a yellow light and nothing was said, he failed for a different reason however the tester told hime "everything was perfect except the 1 thing he failed for" the 2nd time he failed for going through a yellow light again the tester said "everything else was perfect". Now when questioned about the inconsistency they are saying now that had he not failed the 1st time for the other reason he would have failed for the yellow light. I said that was not said, they said oh but it's in the paper. The information should have been given to my son so he could learn from it as is their job! now it just looks like they are trying to finding a way to get a 3rd payment for testing.

Fantastic experience: experience was great all questioned were answered before testing. If you had question she texted back promptly. The guy that gave the test explained everything before each step. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Fantastic experience: They were unbelievably polite ,and Terry was so very patient with me I had to to reschedule a few times and Patrick was amazing so very polite so helpful and amazing to have a conversation with I highly recommend this place

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her road test with Patrick. She was extremely nervous and he was able to calm her down quickly. He was very friendly and informative. He submitted her information to the SOS right on the spot. I am happy with our decision to come here.

Negative experience: I don't know how this place remains in business. The owner, Patrick Makidon is the rudest, most condescending person I have had the displeasure of doing business with maybe ever. Not only was he 45 minutes late to my daughter's appointment, but he also made no effort to explain the testing process and never even acknowledged my daughter who was already nervous. When he did speak it was in a mumbled, incoherent manner that was really unprofessional. This person has no business conducting driving tests for young and often nervous teenagers.

Fantastic experience: The gentleman that gave our daughter the driving test was truly amazing. He is super nice and has jokes lol. He was so good with her, I HIGHLY recommend them for your driving test, you will not be disappointed by any means.

Negative experience: The old man was super rude. and there’s a lot on yelp about double charging cards, but i paid with cash and of course you’re upcharged if you pay with cash. he scoffs a lot.

Fantastic experience: They helped me every step of the way even after everything was done, they still helped me out with SS stuff. They were very patient about everything, If your a new driver i'd go with this place. ( EDIT: I didn't use my card so I can't say any thing on that, just use cash)

Negative experience: The Secretary barley knows what’s going on half the time, took her a day and half to get back with me and they double charged my card.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place to anyone trying to get their license the instructor was so nice and gave great instructions explained everything properly and very professional. Made me feel very comfortable even though I was super nervous due to my severe anxiety.

Fantastic experience: Very nice place I got my driver's license in the instructors are great explain everything very thoroughly I would recommend them for your teenagers getting a license or even adults

Fantastic experience: This is the best place you could go to!!!! My instructor was SUPER nice and made me feel absolutley comfortable. And well, I passed❤

Negative experience: PLease Beware: whatever you do watch your bank statements.They took a extra $50 off my husbands card. Even after my husband showed them proof that 2 transactions was made on the card on November 30th 2017 they still didnt want give our money back. It took my husband to go through his credit card company to get his money back which they knew they did wrong. But he got his money back today January 11th 2018.So just keep a eye on your bank statement because someone got sticky fingers! Im only giving a 1 rating only because i have to in order to post this to warn people it was the Unique Driving Testers on vienna rd in clio !
