Batavia Testing Site (CDL & Car Testing)

Negative experience: Roger blows!! Worst CDL instructor in Ohio, fails people unfairly because they don't feel like riding in the trucks with the trainee. I've sent 5 guys to take their CDL B test and all 5 had problems at this location not passing their first time. This place is a money grab that encourages failures to make more money on return test takers. After going to a different location I haven't had any issues like I've had at this place. DONT TEST AT THIS SITE, DONT TAKE CLASSES AT THIS SITE, AND DONT GET TESTED BY ROGER.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this location as a testing site. The examiner recently failed me during the skills test portion of the test because I did not get out of the vehicle and walk over to him at the end of a maneuver. Prior to the forward stop maneuver he gave me instructions to "Come to him." Which I understood as drive the truck to him at the end of the course. In the Ohio CDL book the driver is required to complete the maneuver, set the brakes and sound the horn. His additional instructions were not clearly stated and the failure was unfair in my opinion. Had he said " after you set the brakes and sound the horn I want you to get out of the truck and walk to me," I would have done as instructed. I explained my mis-understanding of his command and felt we had a simple mis-communication. The examiner then stated "I said come to me" while pointing at his chest, which was unprofessional in my opinion. Again, I would not recommend this as a testing facility. Save yourself the time and money and go to the other CDL testing site in Clermont County, it is a few miles away and you will have a much better experience.

Negative experience: Instructor had a bad attitude and seemed to be mad at me from the very beginning, before I even spoke a word. She made me feel bad about myself the entire driving test. I hope that she somehow felt better about herself after making me feel terrible. I mean seriously her attitude was terrible, I understand she might have been having a bad day or something, but that doesn’t mean she had to take it out on paying customers. Ruined my entire day with that nasty persona.

Fantastic experience: All of the test instructors were really nice and made my employee feel good after each attempt. Roger( Santa Clause) was great there calmness helped not to be so nervous

Fantastic experience: The facility was easy to find. We were greeted by Roger. He was friendly. He made our students feel welcome. The exam area was wide open. Skill station was set up easily so the students were able to visually recognize each station. TANK you Roger!

I was nervous going in, but felt very relaxed and more confident after speaking with him before starting my test. I passed the test and I am looking forward to driving a school bus. Fantastic experience: WOULD RECOMMEND! I rented their truck and Jim was very professional. All of the instructions were clear and he was very fair. I’m officially a licensed CDL Class A driver!
