Belden Village Driving School

Negative experience: I highly recommend you go with another company. I’ve been playing games with these people for almost 2 months to get my daughter scheduled. Today I showed up and they FORGOT her appointment! Now she won’t have her driving hours in until weeks after her birthday. She is quite upset and they didn’t seem to care one bit.

Negative experience: I signed my son up for the online class and their website states that once you complete 2 hours of the online class, you can schedule in car driving. I called inquiring about this after more than 2 hours was completed and got laughed at, and was told that they don't do that anymore. That information was at least 4 years old. False advertising.

Negative experience: Never had so much trouble with a company,scheduled my son 2 weeks out and when it came time to start him I was told someone would contact me. Another week goes by so I called and let them know I never received a call back, gentleman says he will have someone call. The next night at 8:00 pm a lady calls as I am getting in the shower and I ask her ro call back tomorrow she then calls the next night at 7:30 and I ask why cant you call during business hours and she said nobody is available to call during business hours. She then proceeded to try and schedule my son during school hours and I told her it won't work and she then said well the next opening out of school hours is a month away. So a month of dealing with this place and now had to use a different company anyway. Not very organized and would not recommend this company.

Negative experience: My teen started online in February took more than 24 hours and finally finished in May. We have made multiple calls and even went to the office which no one was there. Housekeeping said there hardly ever anyone there. We cant get an answer, cant get a call back. He will be 18 in December. What is even the point. If your wanting to get things done in a timely fashion. Don't even bother with this school.

Negative experience: i paid 100 dollars for 2 hours of private lessons and only got about 45 minutes waste of your money and time this place is super unprofessional

Negative experience: This was a horrible experience. I booked this service and the guy never show up neither picked up my calls. We waited for him outside his office for a while. His office was locked and he never came to his office either . I would rather give him a zero star than 1. So disappointing.

Fantastic experience: luther was so kind and patient, i got my certificate emailed to me within two days. i was able to be both picked up and dropped off at my house. he is a pretty busy and i think he may be the only person running the business but im not sure. i got in right away and the whole process was over in less than a few weeks. i would definitely recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I started out a little worried about the process, but Wow!!! It went smoothly, Mr. Luther was great with my child , wonderful instructor and my baby passed her drivers test on the first try! Thank you guys!!

Fantastic experience: Completed my in car lessons within 5 days. Luther was an amazing instructor, realistic driving conditions, it kinda sucked driving in pouring rain, snow, and strong winds. But it was a great experience. You have to kinda push to get scheduled, but once it began it was very smooth and quick. And not to mention that its is outstandingly cheaper than other places. Highly reccomend going here!

Negative experience: No response and then they lost my driver school certification sheet and won’t Return any calls do not send your child here

Negative experience: Apparently you can’t get behind the wheel done with this company! Canceled the lesson due to weather without notifying us and never rescheduled. No one answers the phone and the answering machine is full

Fantastic experience: The owner of this company Luther is the most kindest, humblest, man that I've ever worked with. He was amazing with my son. He worked out all the kinks. And was so so flexible with his schedule. He was very professional and you can truly tell that he's done this for many many years. If I can recommend a school I would definitely recommend belden village driving School. My first son went to another driving school that was way overpriced and the experience was less than what we received from Mr Luther. Just wanted to say thank you Mr Luther. Due to you my son is driving the gas out of my car lol.

Negative experience: Absolutely nothing but a run around! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They claim how smooth and quick everything will be, nothing but lies!

Fantastic experience: So it's going to take a little to get in- people were are coming out of a pandemic. So not the fault of the instructor and anyone affiliated with. Yes, we had to leave a message- it's a one man band this moment and he is out working/riding with other students. For those of you who are having trouble scheduling- do what we did, pick times that might be during school. Everyone is waiting for an after school time. There again- not the instructors fault. Glad to see he was still doing this after all these years.

Negative experience: This place is a joke! No one ever returned phone calls. It was extremely difficult to schedule in car driving… we started this whole process in MARCH and we FINALLY JUST FINISHED IN NOVEMBER!! Very poor communication.. I can’t even remember how many times I called and was told “ I don’t have the schedule in front of me or someone will call you back tomorrow” but they NEVER did! Choose some where else. Save yourself the hassle!!

Fantastic experience: Belden Village Driving School/Luther (Lou) is amazing. Gave our son realistic driving experiences which are necessary to navigate the roads. Yes, going through a fast food drive thru and getting gas are part of the experience and NECESSARY (for all those who complained about) the likelihood of a teenage driver going through a drive thru is incredibly high and a part of today's daily life. Yes, due to Covid we were not initially able to schedule when we wanted- at no fault of Belden Village Driving School. They did their best to work us in as quickly as possible. There again we were not the only client requiring their services. Great hands on experience offered and I would recommend for the convenience of their location.

Fantastic experience: Everything about our experience was GREAT!!! We got in car quicker than expected and Luther was so professional from start to finish. He also made sure we got the completion certificate within days of my daughter finishing her in car hours. I would highly recommend Belden Village Driving :)

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with this driving school. In cars were scheduled very quickly. Lou was a pleasure and had excellent communication skills.

Negative experience: Currently waiting on the Sheriff Department to call me back.The driver abandoned my daughter at the Marathon/Bellstore gas station after saying we never paid her. I gave this woman 240$ in cash and my bank card for 24.$ and have the receipt to prove it!! I told her I wanted her full name for the police report and she hung up on me. She then dropped my daughter off at the gas station and fled. I made several calls to the driving school to be told it will be dealt with in the morning. Meanwhile, she left my daughter at night, has my bank card #, and 240 in cash.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Drivers Ed went smoothly and without a hitch, Afterwards I was told that the wait for incar was about a month. Once a month had passed with no call to schedule an incar session, I called. The response was “Okay we will get to you as soon as possible.” No attempts were made to contact me despite having payed the full amount and having multiple contact methods on file. I called again, same response. This went on for the better part of 5 months before asking for a refund. I would not recommend this driving school ever.

Negative experience: Had a friend who was told by a female instructor that he had to have both his in cars and in class teaching done both within the same six months which is not a rule, and since he did not have them both done within the same six months, he almost had to cough up more money to pay for a second online driving course.

Fantastic experience: My son had Lou for a driving instructor. He was very patient and nice. We got his driving scheduled and completed very quickly. All other driving schools had a wait list of several month.

Negative experience: Please do not send your kids here to learn how to drive!! The cars are very unsafe for anyone to be in!!! Check the cars out for your self and see.
