Sweet Sisters Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: Cost me my license. The instructor Kevin gave me misinformation and caused me to get an automatic fail. My previous instructors had been great otherwise.

Fantastic experience: I had Christopher to teach me how to drive and I learned a lot from him. I highly recommend this driving school and it is worth it
Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Sweet Sisters Driving School enough! Chris one of their instructors is incredibly professional, patient, and encouraging, which made the learning experience enjoyable and stress-free. I can tell that truly care about their students’ success, tailoring lessons to individual needs and skill levels. The scheduling process was seamless, and they were always punctual and reliable. Thanks to their thorough guidance, I not only passed my driving test on the first try but also feel confident and safe behind the wheel. If you’re looking for a driving school that’s supportive, professional, and genuinely invested in your progress, Sweet Sisters is the way to go!
Negative experience: Person on the phone was so rude I decided not to use their services
Hello, name is Chris Sweet, owner here at sweet sisters. I do apologize you had a less then amazing experience over the phone with someone, would love to help you and see what i can do to help better the experience. Feel free to call again and ask for me (Chris Sweet
Fantastic experience: Such a great family! Love the hands on learning and of course the beautiful mustangs
Thank you for the kind words! We take pride in our customer service and our beautiful cars!
Negative experience: Happened a couple of years ago but I went for a lesson and was quite stunned by the lady's behavior. Can't for the life of me remember her name but it was the first time I had drove anything. I told her as such and she was very rude and kind of snappy. She told my parents i didn't know anything. They knew that. I wasn't allowed to learn with them till I did the lesson with her. It was just rather sad as a high-school student to basically be berated for not knowing how to do something that I had never been taught how to do. I took the lesson to learn and was basically lectured on how it was stupid I didn't know how to drive.
Hello, my name is Chris Sweet, I am one of the owners of Sweet Sisters and would love the opportunity to talk to you more about your less then stellar experience with us. This behavior you explained is not a representation of how we expect our instructors to act and would love the opportunity to make it right. Please contact us and ask for Chris Sweet!
Fantastic experience: My daughter has had two driving lessons with Sabrina so far and has had wonderful experiences! She has been very helpful, given great tips and tells me what areas she thinks my daughter should work on in between lessons. Most of all, my daughter feels very comfortable driving with her and is learning so much! We are definitely booking our last lesson with her and highly recommend her! Thank you Sabrina!
Fantastic experience: I was recommended from a friend of mine to take Robyn, but unfortunately that wasn’t available. So I was recommended Kimberly instead. Wow, let me must say that I am in complete awe and delight within how the session turned out. Kimberly was super sweet, calm, and understanding especially when it came to my anxiety with meeting new people. So much to where we’ve at a few points, we both talked about various topics we’ve came across our personal lives. She likes to take the different aspects of driving bit and bit, so it’ll be less stressful to worry about throughout the session. She even gave me great feedback on what I need to improve on going forward and how to overcome certain obstacles while on the road. Highly, highly recommend her, especially if you’re just starting out. She’ll help you get through the anticipation, adrenaline, and nerves real easily, and get you on the road safely!
Negative experience: Marty is a terrible instructor especially when it is raining. Very stubborn and always distracting the driver from driving safe. Today, during a lesson in the rain, she instructed a student to speed up past the speed limit. Not only does this show that she is not aware of the traffic rules but she is also unsafe as the conditions of the road were wet and slippery. For a driving instructor to do this is absurd as Marty was putting the student at risk of an accident happening. I would like to include that Marty was also taking the wheel whilst the student driver was safely handling the car. You can imagine that this would disrupt the student driving from driving safely and also puts the people in the car at risk. Please reconsider having Marty as an instructor for what was said above.
Fantastic experience: I had kim, Robyn, and Marty I initially tried to be scheduled with Robyn since that was what was recommended and Marty was well, not. I would just like to say, this coming from a student not a parent, that Marty was extremely sweet , while they were all amazing I would go as far to say that I enjoyed being taught by her the most, she was respectful and taught me everything I needed to know, she didn’t leave a single thing out and I felt very prepared for my test the next day. Don’t just trust others impressions.
Fantastic experience: It’s really fun and the instructors are amazing.
Fantastic experience: Great experience very cool to learn all of the different tips and stuff HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROBYN she's so sweet and I really appreciate her patience with me
Fantastic experience: Great experience, my daughter felt comfortable and confident after. I believe the instructor's name was Dean. He did an amazing job, gave my daughter a lot of information (DMV drive routes, scoresheet and avoiding the most comon errors (passing tips). I definitely recommend this school to other parents looking for a driving school for their child.
Fantastic experience: My daughter had her first ever driving lesson with Robyn. I was very impressed with Robyn upon meeting her. I felt completely comfortable letting my daughter take the lesson. My daughter came home excited to continue learning to drive. She felt comfortable, received good feedback and is looking forward to her next lesson. I highly recommend Robyn and we'll definitely be requesting her again. I'm so glad we called Sweet Sisters Driving School!!!
Fantastic experience: very helpful, i felt very prepared for my driving test and comfortable to ask any questions, and driving a mustang was a lot of fun
Negative experience: They do not answer the phone. I have left 2 voice mails and its been 2 weeks, still no call back. I went down there in person the lady at the desk was very dry. Ill be going to vacaville.
Fantastic experience: A good learning experience
Fantastic experience: Great experience!
Negative experience: just sucks all around
Negative experience: Marty was my sons instructor for his first lesson. First she showed up with another student in the car and made that student sit in the backseat for about 20 minutes while she stood outside and talked to us. I felt horrible because it was 100° out the car was not running and the poor kid was made to sit back there for a very long time . When it was time to begin my sons lesson she spent another 30 minutes sitting in front of the house giving him instructions that he said did not make much sense. Meanwhile the previous student is still sitting there. The first thing she had my son do was take her previous student home. When they arrived at that students home she left my son in the car for about 20 minutes while she spoke with that students parents. It felt like he had about one hour of drivers training and one hour of Marty talking . His lesson was set to be 2-4 and they did not pull away in the car until 2:40. He complained because the entire time during his lesson she had her hand on the steering wheel. She would ask him to turn right and then hold the wheel so that he could not maneuver right. He felt like he could not hear her instructions because she spoke under her breath. He also said she yelled at him a lot and criticized him. He was prepared for some constructive criticism but she was pretty critical during the whole lesson . Instead of correcting him when he would make an error she be rated him and told him his driving was sloppy. I’m sure most first time drivers driving could be described as sloppy. We will definitely be setting up his second and third appointments with a different company. I believe that we are owed a redo on his first driving lesson with a different instructor , and I also believe that sweet sisters owes that student that sat in the car a refund. Marty was a very ineffective instructor and I feel it’s very UNSAFE that she would ride with her hand on the steering wheel ....
Fantastic experience: Instructors are awesome!
Negative experience: Last year was awesome, this year....not a chance. Had to cancel because my daughter didn't pass her initial test. Was willing to pay the cancelation fee, but they "didn't feel comfortable rescheduling without her passing", which is TOTALLY fine! I said "thats ok, I can schedule her 1st lesson with someone else....." and while I was talking trying to explain that I would call them back for her 2nd and 3rd lessons after the summer calmed down... I was hung up on!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL. Never once did I get cross or angry, yet I was treated like my business was not wanted nor appreciated. Guess my history with them meant nothing....too bad, I liked pretty much everyone we ever dealt with here, until today!!
Negative experience: Instructor offered someone a sibling discount right in front of me even though she said she didn't have any older siblings and MANY other issues. If I had the option to complete required hours elsewhere I would have.
Negative experience: Terrible customer service! My daughter had a terrible experience and not one person (besides the Secretary) could call me back to apologize. I emailed and called multiple times to try to speak to somebody in charge but never got anybody to call me back. My daughter had a lesson and the instructor was asking her personal, uncomfortable questions. My daughter was nervous the entire time and I feel she did not get a proper lesson because the instructor was way out of line. She also was texting and driving and talking about her own personal issues with the company. I'm paying over $100 for a lesson, I expect my daughter to get a good lesson and get what we paid for. When I call to speak to somebody about the instructors Behavior, the Secretary informed me that they've had many complaints about her so I wonder why she was still employed there to begin with. As I mentioned, nobody would call me back or respond to my email so I was never able to get an answer that question. I would not recommend this place at all and for the remainder of my daughter's lessons, I will be going somewhere else.
Fantastic experience: It's an amazing school. I had 4 hours so far, and I am very satisfied. I had two different teachers. Both of them were good, however, I recommend Rychie. she is very professional, and helpful
