Fantastic experience: We were extremely pleased with Jim Pendergrass' driving instruction. This was our first time to work with him, and I believe it definitely helped our son pass his test the first time. Our son said he gave lots of tips about what would be requested on the driver's exam, and Jim went through the actual test route several times with our son. Jim is also a kind, encouraging person . . . easy for a nervous teen to drive with. Thank you, Jim!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter learned so much from her driving lessons with Jim. She improved a lot. Jim was able to pick her up from our house because we live close to his meet up spot. This made lessons so convenient too.

Fantastic experience: My granddaughter failed her driving portion of her test 3 times, and was required to have 20 hours of instruction. After many hours with us, and still being pretty scary on the road, we called in the pros! Two 1.5 -2 hour lessons with Jim and she not only passed her driver's test, but got 100 percent!!! I don't know how he did it, but I highly recommend him for ALL new drivers.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Pendergrass did a great job helping our daughter learn how to drive and she was able to pass the driver's test on the first try. She was very prepared thanks to his lessons, and she found him patient and easy to talk to in the car. The price was very reasonable as well.

Negative experience: Sorry, I don’t normally give bad reviews but I thought this may help someone trying to make this decision. It was most definitely a waste of money doing this for our son! I admit, we needed help teaching him and thought this was a reasonable way to go. But unfortunately he doesn’t drive any better after the class than he did before it. He was never took out in traffic, and not out of our small community. We had high hopes since our son is headed to college, but he will be going without a license, and with no knowledge of how to drive; especially during a normal busy time.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Jim Pendergrass. He is very patient and a great teacher. As an adult driver who worried I would never get my license, it only took 4 lessons with him for me to pass the drivers test on the first try.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience learning to drive with Jim. He was patient, clear in explaining things, and always made her feel comfortable behind the wheel. The lessons were well-structured and focused on building both skills and confidence. I definitely recommend Jim to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: We are so happy we had our daughter do Jim's Driving school. They met for a total of 6 hours. He would have her drive from our house and then back to our house when they were done. It was extremely convenient. He taught her how to parallel park and drove her through multiple driving courses in the Springfield and surrounding areas. To top it all off our daughter got a 100% on her driving test. Thank you Jim.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars is not high enough. Jim did such a great job. Both of our boys took lessons and have become careful drivers both passing the driver’s test easily and with confidence.

Fantastic experience: Jim Pendergrass did an amazing job with my daughter preparing her for her driving test and being a safe, responsible driver. When it came time for my daughter to take the behind the wheel test for her drivers license, she was not nervous and she passed on the first attempt with a 92% score. The tester said my daughter was one of the best drivers she has tested in a long time. Thank you, Jim!!!

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Jim Pendergrass for anyone else who is learning to drive and for someone who is not comfortable with driving. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He knew me from driving my dads golf cart around lol. He will teach you everything there is to know about driving and what is expected for the driving tests! I would recommend taking your driving tests in nixa because he knows the routes.

Fantastic experience: Coach Pendergrass is a wonderful driving instructor. My daughter was extremely anxious about driving, and I was anxious while teaching her, and our experience together with me trying to teach her to drive was causing us problems in our mother-daughter relationship. So I purchased a set of six lessons, and after the six hours, my daughter was then able to pass her driving test with a perfect score. I am very thankful my daughter could learn from Coach Pendergrass, and I will recommend him to everyone I know who needs a driving instructor. :)

Fantastic experience: Our son was SO anxious about the drivers test. A close call on his first attempt wrecked his courage. Jim was fantastic with rebuilding his confidence and covering everything he needed to know. Patient, kind, and consistent he is worth every cent!

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Jim enough. My daughter had very little experience and actually didn’t want to drive. I called Jim and he got her started back driving. She got her confidence and passed her test today with a 94. If I had any more kids left I would definitely call Jim.
