Inland Valley Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Passed DL test 1st time thanks to this school. I had Kyle Parsons for my last two lessons and he was fantastic, I’d try and get him if you can.
Negative experience: I'd give this place zero stars if I could. On my son's first lesson, he spent it parked at an elementary school waiting for two small children (they weren't even the instructor's children, but a friend of hers) to get out of school so that my son could drop them off at their house. Huge liability there! This was my son's first lesson! He shouldn't be driving with the distraction of 2 small kids. My son said it made him very nervous and it stressed him out. What if he would've hit some kid at the elementary school, or crashed while chauffeuring these children? Not only that, we paid for lessons, not to be running someone else's errands! Then to top it off, he had to pick up some other first time driver (very 1st time, his parents had never taken him out either), and this kid drove my son home (not just thru a neighborhood, but using main roads)! This was supposed to be a private lesson, I even called ahead of time to ensure that he would not have other students driving him! So angry with this place. No regard for my son's safety, the safety of others, and a complete waste of money. Needless to say, we did not return for the other 2 lessons.
Hi Joanne
This is not how we do lessons and I am extremely upset and would like to get more information from you. Can you please call my office and ask for Jim so I can do an investigation on this matter. I would really like yo speak with you in regards to this matter so that we can deal with the instructor and what happened.
Thank you
Fantastic experience: Outstanding service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Fantastic experience: Thank you IVDSchool! I had such an amazing experience with all the instructors, every one was very supportive and understanding. I passed my driving test thanks to inland valley driving school! I definitely would recommend them for all young drivers and adult drivers. Also forgot to mention they are very affordable too!
Negative experience: Why won't anyone call back or answer the phone? My son purchased behind the wheel. He had completed one lesson, and since then we haven't been able to get ahold of anyone.
Fantastic experience: Thank you so much guys !You guys do really good job !Definitely highly recommend this drving school !I passed !
Fantastic experience: I finally got my license today!! Tom has been my instructor since the beginning and has been a wonderful teacher in enlightening me about the rules of the road. The staff in the office is very nice and professional as well, I highly recommend this school if you are looking into getting your license.
Fantastic experience: Amazing helped me get my license great instructors even let me use their vehicle for the test
Fantastic experience: This driving school was very helpful in teaching me everything I needed learn how to drive and ultimately get my diver license! Both my brother and I went through this program. I highly recommend this driving school!
Fantastic experience: Great instructors who care about their students success!! Helped me pass my behind the wheel/written test with a 100% first try!! Wonderful program, worth every cent!!
Fantastic experience: I had Ms. Regina as an instructor for my first behind the wheel today. She is an extremely good instructor, told me what I was doing wrong so I could correct it, and we tried what I did wrong again! She is very uplifting as an instructor, and always wants the best for the student's safety, and other's.
Negative experience: Most pathetic driving school ever! Don't come to this place!!!
Fantastic experience: My son is currently finishing his behind the wheel course! We have had an amazing first experience with Inland Valley Driving school. I always felt safe sending my son with the instructor , he would always report home informing us of the great conversation he had and how much he liked his instructor Humberto. Thank you Inland Valley Driving school.
Fantastic experience: Passed my first time
Fantastic experience: The management made extraordinary efforts to help get my son driving lessons and behind the wheel test at DMV before my deployment. This level of effort exceeded my expectations and was very much appreciated.
Fantastic experience: polite staff, good teachers. My son enjoys it and learns. So I am happy.
Positive experience: EDIT as of 3/18/19: A representative of the business has reached out to me to correct some of the statements I made here. First, the first instructor who came out to work with my son is still with the company. He has been given additional training so that his lessons are more effective. Second, it's not unusual for them to send out different instructors for each lesson. I can see the benefit of having different instructors but I also think that it could be beneficial for a student to have one instructor for all three sessions. I could have asked to have the same person who did the second lesson come out for the third and they would have made their best effort to accommodate my request. I appreciate the representative taking the time to reach out and rectify my dissatisfaction. ______ In a word: disappointed. When I signed up my son for driving lessons, I was told they would continue to instruct him even if he didn't pass the first time. Unfortunately I didn't get that in writing. I spoke with a young lady as well as the owner before I agreed to sign him up. They both assured me that he would get additional lessons at no charge if he didn't pass the first time. Well, my son took his test yesterday and didn't pass. I immediately called to schedule additional time. The representative told me that she had not heard of them offering additional lessons if the student doesn't pass the first time. She said she'd speak to the owner and get back to me. Although she was very polite and professional, they are not going to honor what I was told. (Again, I know I should have gotten it in writing.) Here are some other issues I had that should have been red flags. First, I signed him up for 6 hours of lessons (3 - 2 hour sessions). He had 3 different instructors for each session. The first time, they picked him up from school. He was supposed to be picked up at a specific location. Although I advised the office person that students are not supposed to be picked up at that location, she insisted that they always pick up there and it's not a problem. Someone forgot to tell the instructor because he was not there and advised me that no one told him where to pick up my son. Strike one. About a week after the first lesson, I took my son out to run to the grocery store. He wasn't braking adequately and almost hit the car in front of him twice. Isn't braking Driving 101? I asked my son what he was taught at his first lesson, he said nothing. He just let me drive. Strike two. The second lesson went better. The instructor was professional, showed up on time and at the right location and, after talking to my son, seemed to have provided adequate instruction. The third lesson was good too. Again, I wasn't present, but after questioning my son, seemed to provide adequate instruction. She told my son she thought he was ready and that he would pass. My son got points taken off because he didn't know were the hazard lights were in the car or where the defogger was. He told me the instructor didn't review this with him. The person who returned my call said she spoke with the instructor and that was reviewed with him. HMMM? Who should I believe? A company that says one thing and then doesn't honor it or my son? Also found out that the office person who I spoke with when I signed up my son no longer works there. The first "instructor" who took my son out also doesn't work there anymore. Strike three. His twin brother will be getting his permit in a week or so, guess who won't be getting anymore of our business...
Fantastic experience: I had a great experience there. I believe I am a wonderful driver because of this school. You should really sign up at this school :)
Fantastic experience: Failed the driving test 3 times so I decided to try driving school. Did the 6 hours of behind the wheel training with Tom and got a perfect score next time I took it.
Negative experience: First time student driver , the lady instructor let our son drive to zigzag road with downhill and uphill. Not satisfied . just because there was one student driver need to go back home in Fallbrook so she let our son drive ..Shes not concern for safety of my son.. Look for another Driving school not here.
