Perotte Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Big shoutout to Perotte Driving School for helping me get my license! The lessons were a big help, Earl is the real MVP for his amazing lessons! I already had a very small amount of experience driving but I wasn’t comfortable on the road and still had A LOT to learn. I came to Perotte Driving School for help and with only 6 hours of lessons, and Earl’s amazing guidance, here I am. A licensed driver. I can’t express my happiness or gratitude enough.
Negative experience: Horrible experience, CARL, just sits in the car on the phone calling & playing around, doesnt teach you anything, no skills to take the test, just wastes your time, then the AC doesn’t even work, the junky car needs some maintenance and a new set of instructors. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Negative experience: Whoever was just driving the grey Toyota Corolla on 125th on 7/9 5:00 pm - you work for a driving school and your proceeded to throw a hat and a bag of trash out of a moving vehicle. AND THEN (this was comical) almost cause an accident as you ran the red light on 125th and Griffing Blvd. You’re unprofessional and garbage.
Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my exceptional experience with Perotte Driving School, particularly with instructor Vance. My daughter, Miranda, who is on the autism spectrum, attended driving lessons with Vance, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Vance's approach as an instructor went beyond adequacy; it was marked by genuine kindness and understanding. His patient and supportive teaching style made a significant impact on Miranda's learning journey. Vance not only met the necessary instructional standards but also tailored his approach to accommodate Miranda's unique needs. Moreover, being a part of a family-run business added an extra layer of warmth and care to the overall experience. The environment created by Vance and the team at Perotte goes beyond just driving lessons; it fosters a sense of community and support. I wholeheartedly recommend Vance and this wonderful family-run business to anyone seeking not only a skilled driving instructor but also someone who genuinely cares about the individual needs of their students. Our experience has been nothing short of exceptional, and we are grateful for the positive impact Vance has had on Miranda's driving journey. Thank you, Vance for providing such a welcoming and supportive environment for learners like Miranda. Sincerely, Frank
Negative experience: Do not go here!!!! The people are very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time calling or asking questions because they don’t wanna answer it. Just want to get you in the shop so could charge you a crazy price. They very rude and don’t care to give you any information!!!!!!!!!!
Negative experience: Bad customer service, very rude and lazy instructor
Fantastic experience: Perotte Driving School is a great place to learn how to drive The teacher I love her so much and her brother who teaches me how to drive,he is wonderful ❤ (Clifford) so kind , disciplinat. He is a great guy.
Fantastic experience: Perotte Driving School the best driving school in Miami Dade county
Fantastic experience: Helped me get my learners permit.
Negative experience: Very unprofessional
Fantastic experience: Great
Fantastic experience: The Best in town!
Negative experience: Worst place ever. I really DO NOT recommand this place. Very rude, not organized and not profesionnal...lost of time !
Negative experience: I stopped at a railroad crossing, and watched as a Perotte Driving School car behind me nearly crashed into me (following waaay to close) before veering around me and driving around the barriers to cross the tracks, almost getting struck by the fast moving Brightline train! If this was a Perotte student, then they need to be flunked out of driving school... but if it was an INSTRUCTOR, then people should stay FAR AWAY from Perotte Driving School.
Positive experience: Got my drug and alcohol certification dove here in one multi-hour sitting. They're probably the best known driving school in the neighborhood. Their learning cars are always driving in my neighborhood. I see old and young people practically everyday. Seeing as I've taught a few people to drive, I can say that they use my neighborhood well to teach their clients certain techniques. Although, I feel that some of their location choices are both inconvenient to experienced drivers trying to get by and intimidating for their students. For instance, I've taught 3 point turns in much better, less busy streets and parking lots.
