Negative experience: I highly recommend Adriano's Driving School over Widmyer in the Frederick, MD area. Widmyer costs less, but you get what you pay for. They are unrelenting about your not being a minute late for class the first day, with an excuse that the customer has to pay a $40 fee to reschedule their class because other students are being turned away… instead of just hiring more instructors so no classes are completely full. I was asked to pay that $40 fee more than once, which speaks to their poor Customer Service and course scheduling/staffing. When I called to see if we could reschedule our class without paying the $40 fee a third time, “the boss” proceeded to lecture me about how people need to be on time for class on Monday morning and work on Monday morning. Completely inappropriate treatment of a customer. I recommend you pay the extra $75 for a company that gives you an equivalent product with better flexibility and respectful service.

Fantastic experience: I took drivers ed and did my incars with them. I had Ms Pauline for drivers ed and Mr. Jon for my incars. Jon was very personable and I enjoyed talking to him during incars. He taught me so much and so did Ms Pauline. Highly recommend. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I had an out of country license and had attempted the skills test but did not make it. I then signed up with Widmyer driving school for short practice sessions and use of their car. I had the personal pleasure of meeting and practicing my driving skills with Pauline. My first impression of her was that of a warm, friendly and lovely lady who immediately puts you at ease. She took her time to teach and help me, she went all the way providing tips, advice, and words of encouragement. A few days later I went for my skills test, we had a few minutes of practice before the time and I made it!!!!! I was overcome with emotion when it all ended. Pauline and Widmyer driving school comes highly recommended. I will definitely send my children to her when the time comes. The school is quite some distance from where I live but absolutely worth it! Thank you so much Pauline, like I told you before 'you are simply wonderful'. Thank you Widmyer Driving School!!

Fantastic experience: My son and I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Pauline outside of Widmeyer Driving school when she noticed my son struggling with the 2 point reverse turn. Ms. Pauline stopped what she was doing, introduced herself and offered assistance. In a matter of minutes, she taught my son how to do the maneuver that he had struggled with for weeks while boosting his confidence as well. As a parent, it is a joy to see your child overcome challenges and successfully complete tasks. Ms. Pauline is patient, kind and a skilled instructor. She truly cares about new learners and wants them to be skilled and successful drivers. The fact that she took time to help someone who was not even a student of Widmeyer Driving School speaks volumes as to her commitment and sincere desire to train people to be successful drivers. Ms. Pauline is awesome! I only wish that we had meet her sooner and knew about Widmeyer Driving School previously. It would have saved us a lot of unnecessary anguish. If you or someone you know is attempting to learn how to drive, enroll at Widmeyer Driving School. It is worth the investment. You will be so glad that you did.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Pauline was the best! As uncomfortable as I was being a 39 year old in a class full of teenagers; she made me feel at ease! She was informative, and the other's were drawn to her. She made sure everyone understood everything. And, she's overall a really great teacher!!!
