Fantastic experience: Our experience with Institute for Drivers Safety could not have been better! Our 16-year-old grandson had some reluctance about driving (yes, it's true), and the program offered by IDS was perfect for helping him gain the skills and confidence he needs to be safe behind the wheel. The online registration process and ongoing communication were both seamless, the classroom experience was well-run and informative, and the behind-the-wheel sessions (5 in all) were led by competent, caring, instructors. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Institute For Drivers Safety was the best choice for my teenager learning how to drive! Highly recommend! JJ was my son's driving instructor for all 3 drives and for the driving test. My son told me that JJ was full of knowledge and knew EVERY SINGLE rule and law about driving, plus gave him insightful tips that ultimately assisted in my son's ability to be a cautious and defensive driver. Fantastic experience: I have chosen institute for drivers safety for 2 of my teens so far. Third coming soon. I believe it’s the best program out there! The teachers are fabulous and really give them a sense of security on the road. I love all the locations they take them and the confidence it gives them. Once they turn 16 they are completely ready to drive with this program!

Fantastic experience: Our daughter went through this program and loved it. She had great rapport with the instructors and her confidence level soared. Scheduling on-line was easy but I agree with another user that you should be able to schedule the test the same as you would any other drive. We highly recommend this program. Although having a new driver is nerve-racking, having her go through this program definitely gave us more peace of mind. Thank you IDS!

Fantastic experience: Needless to say, the cost of the IDS program is not inexpensive, but the value of the education and experience is exceptional. The office staff was helpful by phone and in-person throughout the entire program. The instruction in Arizona driving laws and statues was encompassing, accurate and current. The driving taught by three different driving instructors provided diversity in technique and encouragement. Lastly, with the benefit IDS holds in the certification from the State of Arizona to test for licensing, IDS students benefit from a comprehensive, one-stop package. I'm glad we went this route.

Fantastic experience: They were great with communicating to us as parents and my son said they did a great job teaching him as well. They always showed up on time and it was easy to schedule driving time. The inperson class was great as well.

The program provides excellent instructors with patience and knowledge to assist young adults in learning, practicing and executing good decisions while operating a motor vehicle. Their instruction combined with our own practice regiment ensured that our teenagers were prepared for driving in Arizona when they turned 16 years old. The instructors provided both positive feedback and areas for practice and improvement along the journey. I would definitely recommend the program for everyone.

Fantastic experience: My 16yo daughter LOVED all of her instructors, which seemed a little funny to me since they were all older retired police officers that she would have nothing in common with, but she always came back with more confidence than before and had fun even when spending 3 hours at a time driving together. Fantastic experience: We used this company for our daughter (5 years ago) and our son (recently). Some of the same instructors are there. They had Carl and Jon and they both were very patient and gave good clear instructions. They gave my kids practical instruction. I highly recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: Our son learned a lot from his driving sessions. He went all over town and got a lot of great experience. He drove downtown, to the airport and got lots of freeway experience. He enjoyed the lessons too which kept him engaged and excited for each session. His driving teacher walked him back up to the door after each lesson to give us a report on how he did and it was great to get that feedback. All in all this was a very positive experience and we plan to have our younger son take driver training here too when the time comes. We highly recommend the Institute For Drivers Safety.

Positive experience: My daughter had one instructor that took a hard day out on her and yelled at her for his mistake. Only having three lessons and one not going well due to instructor, not okay with me. Thankfully she only had him once. The other guy was amazing and she loved him. So thankful he did her test.

The online scheduling process, pickup/drop off at the house, time frame options, and highly qualified instructors made this process very smooth and stress free. The instructors - specifically JJ - were highly professional, while also maintaining a calm and practical demeanor. The variety in the driving lessons, from local streets, downtown, and freeways (even through the crazy I-10 construction) as well as the in-person class were highly instrumental in developing our daughter's driving skills and confidence. Fantastic experience: This is my third child to go through the Institute for Drivers Safety and I cannot say enough good things about the program, the instructors and their professionalism. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for support in teaching someone how to drive. They go over the rules of the road and expose them to different areas, scenarios, times of day, traffic conditions and give tons of tips and work on anything you can think of and a lot of things you, as a parent, forget totell them. Over the past five years since my first child went through the program until now they have improved on the ease of scheduling and added even more options and instruction. Great experience overall.

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons have taken this class and I feel 100% more confident in both of their driving skills. The instructors are amazing, very patient and calm!! I love that you can have the instructor come to your residence and pick up and then drop back off at the house and will come in and share the driving experience always providing areas to work on and areas they are doing extremely well in. Both of my son's took their driving test with one of the instructors and then we just went to a 3rd party location to get the license. Very convenient and less stressful for all involved!
