Cascade Driving School

Fantastic experience: CDSA made learning to drive such a positive experience! Gordon and Caleb created a supportive class environment, while Esther provided excellent behind-the-wheel training and assessment. Their patience and professionalism gave me the confidence to succeed… I passed and will have my license soon! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Came here after All Star failed us TWICE because of an unhappy old instructor there who's apparently notorious for being a jerk. Anyway, the lady here was very nice, kindly instructing, and VERY helpful.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was very friendly, the instructor Ester helped ease my nerves and set expectations for the driving test, despite never taking classes here.

Fantastic experience: my oldest started drivers ed here. the communication we had was with Caleb and he was amazing. He answered every question I had. made everything very easy. Gordon and Ester were great too. my daughter felt very confident and comfortable driving with them, and working with them over zoom and in person when we went for drives. I asked about price match and it was so easy didnt make you feel uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend this driving school. from a busy/working mom with three kids, they really spelled it out and made it easy.

Negative experience: About a year ago when I went here, I spent $120 to take the driving test and to use the car. I start the driving test off halfway through. I make two mistakes right before merging into the left lane to turn left could tell a semi was going to take my left lane, so I slowed down the lady looked at me like I was crazy and this semi drove into the entire left lane. She made me drive back to the school and told me I failed. I asked what else should I have done word for word She said you did the right thing, but I was scared. I was sad and mad so I left and didn’t say anything when I realized I should have told someone I’m going back. Now to retake the test, I will tell them about my experience last time and make sure I don’t get the same lady. We’ll see how it goes. But for now, I definitely don’t recommend going here!!!

Fantastic experience: It was just as scary to get my license at 69 as it was when I was 16. Some rules had changed (say goodbye to 10 and 3 o'clock) and there is more to driving than hitting the accelerator. Even with 50 years of driving under my belt, I still felt like a novice. The team at Cascade Driving School made it such a calm and relaxed situation that I could ratchet my anxiety down and pass both the knowledge and driving test. Thank you Rebecca, Bob and Esther. My husband can now retire from driving. And I am so excited to hit the road. Legally.

Negative experience: Needed someone who spoke Español, driving examiner was very nervous for no reason and unprofessional. I think they just want more business $$$$ for "training" im not happy with them should get a refund, I wish the state was still doing the exams, at least they were professional

Fantastic experience: Absolutely, loved this driving school. I did a practice drive and I took my test here. It was good experience, weirdly. My instructor answered all my questions, in depth. Actually, made sure I understood completely. I am hearing impaired. I have to wear hearing aids, but choose not to wear them while I'm driving because I find them to be a distraction. I had previously gone through All star driving school for a practice drive. The instructor there literally told me I did not need hearing aids and reading lips is cheating. Refused to repeat anything at all. It was a nightmare for me. Cascade driving school made me feel heard They helped me find solutions with some of the problems I had with driving with hearing loss. Thank you Cascade driving school for helping me achieve my Independence.

Negative experience: Cascade was the worst experience i ever had. I came in 15 minutes early to get covid screening done and they didn't even have the paper work i needed to fill out in the building. They didn't even have there schedule book there for me to reschedule after the test. They only do the written on friday so if you need to take written on another day you have to pay the $30 plus an extra $30 to do it on a different day. So now on the test when hes checking the lights and everything on the car he gets very impatient while your trying to figure out there car that you have never been in before. Not trying to fat shame specially since in a bigger girl but the guy is so big his leg is in your way of the gear shifter. Then he failed me on something that everyone including other driving schools and cops said i did nothing wrong. When u get back he will let you take a picture of your test so you can work on things but doesn't explain the testing to you so you know what to fix. Really he just failed me cuz he didn't want to be on the drive. Cuz he had no other appointments for the day and he had other stuff he wanted to be doing and i say that. Cuz not even 15 minutes after the test my husband and i went back to talk to the guy and he was gone . and the recepsitionest said early they had no appointments for the day while i was waiting for him that morning. So he calls us back so we could find out what my husband could do to help me pass the next time and he sat there calling me a lier the hole time and trying to fight and argue with my husband. So we decided we would go try and do my drive with. All star driving school that i was recommended to try and would really recommend to others and ask him how i would go apond doing that and he tells us very rudely just go over there i don't give a care what company would say that. Please don't go here go to all stars.... I also forgot on the phone call with him he kept telling us that i should get a permit so i can practice driving legally even thow ive told him multipule time dol told me i can not get a permit because ive had the limit of permits.

Negative experience: My son was attending this school when covid hit. I payed a fee upfront and now still owe $400 even though the classes where canceled. I called to pay my balance and the secretary said she would not take my payment over the phone because she "doesn't trust it". She said I'd have to come in person ( an hour away from my home)or wait for someone else. She could not tell me when I could talk to someone else. I'm having to go out of my way and chase this company around to pay. At this juncture im looking at upwards of $600 for a class that was not completed and has to be done again. We are enrolled in another school and need his permit released.

Negative experience: Did not respond to texts or phone calls. No an for cdc regulation. I haven't been able to reach anyone on a regular basis. The 1 time I did they claimedto not know who my daughter was. I paid the $400 up front and then crapped on.
