Negative experience: I had my worst experience with this school in my life because the treatment was more than dehumanizing and stressful and I would not recommend this school to anyone.

Negative experience: Every time we go theres 4kids before mine that fail and even after ! They just take your money n then you fail! My kid drive to her own test n fails for being cautious on turns and slowed down to merge! Are you serious! Why do so many fail here? Its not normal! They told my kid she should just book our own test at the rmv instead Her instructor said she was good to go .. we did refresher because we dont know the area she passed just fine

Fantastic experience: It has been a pleasure to work with Billerica Auto School! My son has a job and is an athlete which leads to an incredibly busy schedule and a lot of difficulty finding times for lessons. The staff has been wonderful in helping us find times, patient with our process and they took a very timid driver and helped build his confidence. Thanks so much for all you've done and keep up the good work!

Fantastic experience: Of all the bad things I have read about all the driving schools I can tell you with confidence this is NOT one of those places. They have been very easy to work with, once the classes have been taken and permit has been issued the ease of their online scheduling has been fantastic. When you call them or email them they are super responsive and will do everything they can to help accommodate you. Do slots fill up...yes of course....but if you communicate with them they will work with you. I highly recommend them for any surrounding towns. Not only that but their pricing is much better than others and you get a much higher level of customer service.

Fantastic experience: My son passed the first time he took the course. And they are very patient teaching him to drive. I have no complaints.

Negative experience: I wish I were able to give no stars. These people are rude, mean and despicable. Each instructor gives different information contradicting the last, then they get angry at you when you don't know exactly "their way" of driving. It is very clear that none of the instructors want to be there some of them do not answer student questions or just ignore student's in general. They never answer their phone and are extremely difficult to contact. Words cannot describe how much this place stinks. Stay away at all costs!

Fantastic experience: We were very satisfied with the driver's training, friendliness and overall service that they provided.

Negative experience: Despite being a cheaper option than some other schools, the money saved is not worth the experience, which is nothing short of horrendous. First of all, the building is not in good shape. It is too crammed to fit all of the people in one class, and in addition to it being uncomfortably stuffed, the seats and tiny desks attached to the sides of the chairs are legitimately painful. I took the classroom course during April vacation, in which the course was split into 5 six hour sessions - each session had two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch break, but these breaks were not long enough to recover from sitting on the cheap, plastic chairs before you had to sit on them for another hour and a half. Even if one were to take the 3 hour classes during a school week, the chairs are unbearable for even that long. I must admit that I did learn things during that week, but I did not receive the education on road rules that I should have. The material was presented by my teacher, Liz, in a way that was hard to take notes on, hard to retain, and at some times, hard to follow. There was one day that she had to be somewhere else, and so we were sent a substitute from the Westford office. Credit where credit is due, this guy knew what he was talking about, knew how to teach it to us in a way that we could remember and record, and actually made the experience bearable, as he was quite funny. I most certainly learned more in that single day than I did all of the rest of the days combined. Liz could really learn from this guy. I know that this review is kind of turning into a “berating Liz” session, but if she represents this school, this should not be taken with a grain of salt. Last thing about Liz, she could not control the class. The back half of my class were behaving like elementary schoolers - only with the street experience and sexual knowledge of high schooler. Not a good combo. She was not able to discipline them at all, (I must admit that I don’t think another teacher could have done much better, they were really awful, but the point remains), and that lack of discipline enabled the kids in the back to be a major distraction, making it even harder to learn. The last thing I would like to talk about is the contact. Once I got my permit, (I got nothing wrong on the permit test, however this was not thanks to my drivers ed experience, it was thanks to my parents ability to teach me by just explaining what they are doing while driving (I recommend this if your parents are good drivers) and my common sense), I called the auto school not once, not twice, not three times.... but four times before they actually called back. They didn’t even pick up. They had to call back. Oh and it was the Westford office that called me back. Not even the Billerica office. They hardly having any lesson times available, and I have very low standards for my road lessons. If they exceed my expectations, I will leave another, more positive review, but i decided to leave this one about the classroom course and school in general before my experience, as it is possible I could have a good experience with the driving lessons. If you are still reading this, good for you, and don’t waste your time on this “school”. There MUST be better options.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional. Instructor called my son an annoyance. Never able to contact them. They need to drop out of the drivers ed business. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Kaitlin 7 years ago

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. I went there and they were extremely unprofessional and hard to contact. The cars were not clean in any way, absolutely repulsive. I’m only 16 and can see how inconsiderate and childish this company is.

Negative experience: The course is over priced and uninformative, I was better off for my per.it test using test simulating apps, and they make it impossible to schedule road lessons! The website has no option to do so, when you call in their 3 hour window of being open, they either don't pick up, tell you they are busy on another line, or tell you to use the useless website! Don't waste your time and money with these people

Negative experience: Do NOT use this school. There are other probably better options. They want your money, and fail to live up to their responsibility. Zero stars should be an option.

Peter Nolan 8 years ago

Negative experience: SO far only ONE instructor is good, Terrence. Other than that Patrick Shea is probably the most annoying, blood pressure raising man I've ever met. He is more of a hazard to the student than the student themselves.

Negative experience: If I could rate 0 stars, I would. My experience with this place was as awful as it could get, for a driving school. Everybody else I know who have used Billerica Auto School all have their own horror stories, you can ask anybody. Liz, your local clown driving teacher, is easily 90% the reason everybody hates the place. I personally have had her grab and jerk the wheel away in a random direction for no reason other than because I need to be prepared for anything when I'm driving. She has literally YELLED at me saying I couldn't stop for so long because I stopped at a 4-way stop sign intersection and cautiously looked left and right before proceeding to make sure it was safe to go. She slams on the breaks out of the blue because, again, you 'have to be prepared for anything'. She made me practice turning in a literal circle for 45 minutes straight. I started to get a migraine while driving at the beginning of a lesson and she forced me to continue driving for two whole hours, even though I told her I thought it was very dangerous to do so because my migraines inhibit my motor skills. It is not worth the money. If you are looking to find a driving school, please don't waste your time. Use tri-town or any other nearby driving school. Unless the Billerica Auto School fires Liz, do not use their services.

Negative experience: Liz is literally the most annoying clown to ever walk the planet. She hit the breaks in the middle of me driving, and also asked me if I was comfortable and I said yes and she said no you aren't fix your seat.

Holly Huo 8 years ago

Negative experience: The teacher here so rude! Unbelievable! You feel no respect at all. I fee hurt, very disappointed.

Michael Leone 10 years ago

Negative experience: From my first lesson to my road test its a 5 MONTH PERIOD! I cannot believe how long it takes for this, I've heard of most places having up to a 3 month period, but this is ridiculous I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
