Henley's Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: as an adult doing private, Driving Lessons (Yes, I’m doing mine later in life Because of some life events that happened when I was a teenager) He smells like alcohol every time you get into a car with him I am going to be contacting Whoever the higher up is to get my money back As I only got two Lessons, which we’re supposed to be two hours each, he ended one early and still charged me and then he stopped contacting me I am referring to Mr. Henley himself. I have sent him numerous text messages in the last three days and all of them go unresponded to
Fantastic experience: We would recommend Henley driving school. Jack was great to work with.
Negative experience: Horrible communication! On a rare occasion that I caught him early enough and he actually picked up the phone he told me he would definitely call me back the next day, never did, it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone at this driving school! I’m honestly confused how they can even be in business ♀️
Negative experience: DON’T send your child here. I have only had lessons with Henley himself, and it’s not worth the headache! He cancels lessons, is constantly late (sometimes an HOUR +), he will slam the brake, jerk the wheel, belittle, and YELL at you if you make a single mistake. Terrible instructor. Often cried once returning home from the lessons due to his actions/behavior. Honestly, send your kid anywhere else BUT here. It is an extremely stressful experience. And then he will contact you sporadically months after the fact to see if you want more lessons, even after repeatedly telling him you’re not interested.
Fantastic experience: I have had all of my kids (3 so far out of 6 total) go through Henley's Driving School and couldn't be happier. Great and friendly staff that are knowledgeable and experienced.
Negative experience: Would NOT recommend Henley's Driving School to anyone. The classroom was okay and the guy who teaches is okay, his name is Brian, and the one driver named Roger was also okay, but when it came to Mr. Henley he was very rude during in car and he throws his hands up, and he makes my kid very nervous and we know other people who had the same experience. He was on his phone during the driving and calling different clients. He is very hard to get your scheduling driving in. His mail box is always full, and you can never get a hold of him. The only way to get a hold of him to talk to him is at noon maybe or if you call him a couple times back to back repeatably if not there is not a very likely chance that you can talk to him. He makes my kid and a few others that we have talked to nervous. Again would not recommend. It should have been a good experience which it mostly was it was just Mr. Henley.
Negative experience: Very bad communication
Negative experience: Poor communication, likes to belittle the students, grabs the wheel and jerks it terrifying the student. Screams at them, which is highly uncalled for. Causing said student to end their driving time in tears. VERY unprofessional.
Fantastic experience: Awesome training course. Mr. Henley does a great job of teaching and showing the dangers of careless driving. 5 stars!!
Fantastic experience: I Highly recommend Henley’s Driving school. Mr. Henley is above and beyond when it comes to learning to drive and the serious responsibilities that come with being a responsible driver ( a skill that is often lacking in adolescents that think they know it all). Several of my family members always have enrolled in Henley’s driving school due to the deep insight he provides in his classroom and behind the wheel training. I do believe that his teaching and safe driving techniques have played a major part in helping Protect his students and those around them on the road by implementing what they have learned. He is a man of integrity. Thankyou Mr. Henley for doing your part to help make roads safer and save lives.
Fantastic experience: Mr. Henley is an excellent instructor who did an amazing job teaching me the driving skills I now possess. He works very well with the abundant amount of immature teenagers that pass through his classroom. And despite their occasional rudeness he still guides with a gentle but firm teaching technique. I respect him very much and am thankful there are such caring driving instructors out there who are trying to decrease the amount of car accidents that happen due to recklessness.
Fantastic experience: Nice trainer and super friendly gentle man Very pleasant experience
Negative experience: Hello everyone that has stumbled along this review. I would like to give a detail description of what is is like going thru Henry’s driving school as a high school graduate of a couple days ago. First of all, I signed up in November and am just NOW scheduling my last test as of late may. The lack of communication is a big issue but I’m surprised to see not as many people talking about what it is like driving with Jack Henley. As I’m trying to be as unbiased as possible, I am a decently “experienced” driver id say at this point. I’ve been driving for 2 years through the harshest storms and snow. However, merging onto the Highway with Henley, (we were going 70 miles per hour) he decides to yank my wheel to another lane. I was astonished and definitely gave him an ear full because how dangerous that situation was. I could tell that he was not used to a student standing up for themselves and that was concerning… he likes to power trip the students and treat us like we don’t know anything. You can tell that after these 18 years he’s been doing driving school, he’s given up. I can go way further into more incidents or detail for anyone wondering (there’s PLEANTY more) but what I’m trying to get at is, please everyone, do not send your child here. (This is a fake name account).
Negative experience: Very bad communication. I have been trying to schedule my daughter for driving with thwm for months. Never answered the phone mail box is always full so couldn't leave a message and never got a return call back.
Negative experience: My friend brien goes here and says he has a crush on julie
Fantastic experience: Through COVID, it was difficult to get into any school. Jack Henley kept in communication with us and worked with us to find dates that worked with our schedules. Driving with three different instructors provided different perspectives and was helpful. We recommend them.
Negative experience: my friend brian is going here
Negative experience: Terrible communication, still waiting to get our daughter on the driving schedule 2 1/2 months after class ended. If you want your teen to be able to drive DO NOT go here.
Negative experience: Friendly people, but communication is horrible. Good luck trying to contact this man without waiting a few centuries
Negative experience: Please teach your students how to merge appropriately onto freeways and interstates, and they are not being taught to drive in the right hand lane like they’re supposed to unless passing. Often times I see the driver students with their instructor sitting in the left lane. Or inappropriately merging on and off ramps. Which is very dangerous and not safe for others driving. Please teach the students how to drive.
Negative experience: My biggest complaint is the complete lack of communication! I understand that Covid19 interrupted business, but once this place opened back up I had to reach out to the them to schedule my son's in car driving time. I'd call to schedule and he'd say he'd call me back to schedule but he wouldn't return the calls. It was very frustrating and very unprofessional!
Fantastic experience: We used Henley Driving for our oldest daughter, great experience. We will use them in the future with our other children. Highly recommend, very nice family.
