Fantastic experience: My son took the 5 hour course in the beginning of September and took lessons with Robert Baker after. I have to say- what a wonderful experience. This school is so accommodating!!! They did everything they could to help my son feel comfortable. My son was most comfortable with Robert and they were able to work around my son's school schedule and literally bent over backwards for him. I could not be happier. He passed his road test!!! They make you feel like family and I am so happy that we were able to work with them. Lynn is amazing and a true asset to the company and will literally do anything she can to help Thank you Lynn!!!!!! ! The young ladies in the office are friendly and when they say they will call you back- they call you back! And Robert Baker!!!! He is truly one of a kind!!!! Thank you to all!!!!

Fantastic experience: I took the online Zoom course, and while the content was very simple, Dan Lucas gave great explanations of the important of the rules and the real danger you put yourself in if you Don't follow it

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience learning with Marty from Defensive Driving School. From the very beginning, he was extremely understanding and made me feel completely comfortable behind the wheel. Marty has a calm and patient teaching style that really helped ease my nerves, especially as someone who was a bit anxious about driving. What impressed me most was how effectively he taught me to parallel park—he explained it so clearly that I got it right on the first try. He also took extra time when picking me up to make sure I had his full attention and could get the most out of each lesson. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his students’ success. I took a few lessons with Marty, passed my road test and truly felt confident and well-prepared thanks to Marty. He made sure I understood not just how to drive, but how to do so properly and safely within New York State laws. Fantastic experience: I did a six lesson package deal and my instructor Frank was just the best. He made the whole learning experience better than I was hoping for and thanks to everything that he taught me I was able to pass my road test and it’s thanks to him learning and telling me what I need to do when I’m on the road.

Fantastic experience: I took a pre-licensing course with instructor Daniel Lucas. The class taught by Daniel was great, interactive, informative and helpful to prepare for the road test and to drive safely. The certificate arrived by mail early for scheduling road tests. And customer service was great. The phone is always answered immediately. I would recommend pre-licensing courses with this school.

Negative experience: called twice and have gone there twice; the secretary has wasted my time by telling me I can just show up and take the class, but on both occasions, they've canceled .they never give us any information or that we need to apply online anything? Just go, that's it

Fantastic experience: The 6 hour class with Dan was very entertaining, the time passed by so quickly that no one felt that it was time to leave. I learned new dmv rules that I didn't know, and more things that will help me to be careful to avoid accidents, Thanks Dan!

Fantastic experience: As someone who had no prior driving experience, Defensive Driving School and my instructor Andy really made the experience a positive one. Andy is amazing to work with, he built up my confidence while teaching me the ways of the road and how to best pass the road test. The package options are really great and made it my 1 stop shop to obtain my license.

Positive experience: Driving teachers are great and that’s the only reason I’m even giving any stars. The main office help was terrible The guy who works there who answers the phone is rude and has no issue reminding you several times if you’ve made a mistake and called my crying child in the background an animal. Wish I didn’t buy a package here because getting help with anything has always been difficult

Fantastic experience: I had frank as my instructor and he was absolutely amazing. Was a great teacher and really knows what he’s doing. If it wasn’t for him I would’ve, without a doubt, failed my road test. Thanks to him I got my license today. Thank you Frank!!!

Fantastic experience: Jan, my driving instructor, was by far the absolute most amazing teacher I could ever have the privelage of having. The amount of care, patience and time she put into teaching me was something I'll never forget. Besides the fact that she is an absolutely outstanding teacher and driver, she goes above and beyond to make sure you master the ways of the road and I couldn't be more greatful. Jab will teach you all the little details that many people don't, everything you need to know to watch out for on the road and be safe. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and a better teacher. I was more than prepared for the road test and was more than ready for being a good cautious driver on the road! Jan is the best!!!

Negative experience: They charge too much for their driving packages compared to other neighboring companies. The driver instructor, Andy Lang, is amazing. Each drive was informative and comfortable. The five hour pre- licensing course was boring but endurable. Just finished the 6 hour insurance reduction class and that was comparably terrible. He extended the time of the class because of “breaks” but he could’ve definitely finished earlier if he didn’t add his lengthy personal stories about his friend’s car accidents and his stupid Prius.
