Central Washington Driving: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: Angela is the best we put all of our kids here. We will always come here. They are so helpful and care about there students.
Negative experience: Please find somewhere else to teach your students how to back around my corner. It is incredibly unnecessary to block both my garage and access to my alley several times a day. The neighbors agree.
It is difficult to remedy a situation unless you call or email us the location of the alley in question.
If for some reason it is one of our state certified drive testing routes, and I am guessing it is if we are there multiple times a day, I can call the Department of Licensing and ask them to come out to change the route to include a different alley.
Unfortunately we cannot stray from the route until a state auditor is contacted to certify a new route.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Positive experience: I took the online classes back at the peak of COVID-19, and Angela was wonderful as a teacher...very engaging and fun! The driving tests had good instructors, and I was pretty comfortable (considering I was in a vehicle getting tested by a stranger lol). But the guy who did my official, driver's license test was extremely rude. I can't remember his name but he practically yelled at me once for "needing to calm down"...mind you I only quietly took a breath and told myself "I got this" (once, btw). I brushed it off but he only huffed and puffed the entire time, once in a while saying a snarky remark. Whatever. Apparently he forgot he had one more student to test that day and was late to see his kid. Oh well. I passed (barely, but I did) and didn't have to be tested by him again. I never forgot how I was treated. Just wish my final test went smoother and less stressful...tests are already stressful enough! Like dude! Overall not a bad experience at the school and I would recommend it.
Thanks a bunch glad you enjoyed it!
Negative experience: Central Washington Driving School: A Frustrating Experience of Endless Testing My experience with Central Washington Driving School can only be described as a nightmare of repeated failures and endless frustration. After attempting my driving test a staggering six times under their instruction, I am left feeling utterly disappointed and disheartened by the lack of support and guidance provided. From the very beginning, it was clear that the instructors at Central Washington Driving School were ill-prepared and unable to effectively prepare me for the challenges of the driving test. Despite countless hours of practice and dedication on my part, their lackluster teaching methods and inadequate feedback left me feeling unprepared and anxious each time I attempted the test. The administrative incompetence at Central Washington Driving School only added to my woes. Scheduling my tests was a convoluted process filled with errors and miscommunications, leading to unnecessary delays and confusion. The staff's disorganization and lack of follow-through only served to compound the stress of an already challenging situation. After enduring the humiliation of failing my driving test six times under the supervision of Central Washington Driving School, I can confidently say that I would not recommend their services to anyone seeking to obtain their driver's license. Their inability to adequately prepare students for the test, coupled with their administrative shortcomings, make them a poor choice for anyone looking to learn how to drive and pass their test efficiently. Save yourself the time, money, and emotional toll of dealing with Central Washington Driving School. Seek out a more competent and supportive driving school that values its students and provides the necessary resources to help them succeed.
We are limited to what we can do or say during a state examination. We are here to conduct a test, not give instruction.
Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at CWD. Angela and Cameron were awesome and provided excellent customer service. A first class experience, I would highly recommend. Thank you.
Thanks a bunch, glad you enjoyed your experience with us!
Fantastic experience: Go here for all you driver's testing
Thanks for being prepared for your drive test!
Negative experience: Weird vibe from Jared i think that’s his name. He was the drive test guy. Never been on a drive like that one. He stares real hard at your face when your backing up basically in your bubble. That was a little much for me. But that was my experience and could be different with others. ♀️
Unfortunately conducting a state drive test has limited verbatim and conducted the same for every applicant.
We are trained to watch the applicant for vision and other driving abilities. Can be awkward.
Negative experience: the staff are really kind and helpful before and after doing my writing test here and everything is okay, I barely pass due to my knowledge but I don't recommend doing the driving test here w certain instructor, I did my driving test twice and the second time I did better but got the same score
Keep practicing!
Negative experience: Driver instructer named Jared fails someone by 2 points then they pay again and did better and fail by 2 points (80 is passing and he gave 78) somehow once again despite doing better so might just be a way they make money since you pay each time you do the driving test which is 45 dollars each time
Fantastic experience: Such a great school! Angela did a great job with the online class and Cameron was a fun, easygoing and knowledgeable instructor. Rose is always helpful at the front desk and this whole drivers Ed business went so much better than I remember when I was 15. I so appreciate everyone’s professionalism and friendliness!!!! Thank you!
Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate you!!!!!
Positive experience: The instructors in class and behind the wheel are all excellent; Angela and Cameron were both amazing. However, the admin side of things is not great. Their emails are over-formatted and difficult to understand - I read through the initial email 5 times and I'm still not really sure what was being communicated. Having several different websites for different tasks is confusing, the servers running their websites are slow, and the scheduling process for drive times is not user friendly.
We will gladly follow up with you today! I'm sorry for any delays or confusion. We will remedy any issues you have!
Fantastic experience: Great experience!
Fantastic experience: They are so professional and they make learning fun for the children. Their staff are well trained, so as a parent you can feel confident that they are safe when practicing drives.
Fantastic experience: Great program and friendly staff
Fantastic experience: Such an awesome staff
Fantastic experience: THANK YOU!!! My daughters had a great experience with this school and the practice drives! They try to be accommodating as much as they can and still stay on target and get these kids ready to be safe, smart & proactive drivers!
Fantastic experience: This is a great school and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The staff are straight forward on prices and there aren't hidden fees in the contract. Great choice for a driving school!
Fantastic experience: Very helpful. Offers lesson, classes, and testing. They have a very busy schedule so plan in advance for testing.
