Fantastic experience: Unbelievable customer service. Every employee from the owners to the guy who just helps you get in/out of car, was beyond friendly! Great experience! Highly recommend as a unique experience.

Fantastic experience: This was my second time driving at Team Texas Racing School. The first time was with my wife and kids and just recently drove the cars at night.... with the track lights on! I have known David since 2019 and have sponsored his race car when he races during the NASCAR Season. Their facility is clean and the cars were fast. Kim and David are passionate about providing an authentic NASCAR experience. Don't forget the limo ride!

Fantastic experience: Something I’ll always remember! 10 laps on the track with Tommy the instructor ( Thanks Tommy for a heckuva drive and 4 with Big Mike driving( thanks Mike for letting me experience a real race car. You sure made it real). And David Starr and his wife and all the great people he has working for him. Sure put a smile on this old man’s face! Try it folks. You can’t shift a manual transmission, don’t worry, they got it figured out. Can’t put on the helmet, or get in the car easy, they’ll help. Great run organization and great friendly people. Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I’ve never really followed NASCAR. I’ve been to some races when I was younger, but I’ve always had other interests. My Dad, however, has always been a fan. One of my sisters had the idea of surprising our Dad with a driving experience at a place near her. Everyone pitched in on the gift and we added it to the calendar. Time passed, life happened, and it got rescheduled a couple of times. He had some health issues and we weren’t sure he could still participate. Through some amazing communication with the venue, she confirmed it could still happen, and we made travel plans. April 18th was the day! We came from several states to celebrate our Dad, who will be 85 this year. We didn’t know what to expect other than he would be driving 10 laps, and then have another four laps in ride-along with a NASCAR driver. We thought we would enjoy HiS enjoyment and it would be fun to have everyone together. We hoped it wouldnt rain and hoped he would have a good time. This place was absolutely amazing. Team Texas David Starr's Racing School exceeded all our expectations! They treated us like family, and took care of our Dad like he was one of their own. The emphasis was on safety, but they made it fun. At the end of the safety class they let the other drivers know they had an 84 year old driving, and all afternoon people were telling us how amazing he was, and shaking his hand. Big thanks to David Starr Racing and Kim Wright Starr for being so genuine and kind. I cannot emphasize enough what an amazing experience this was! From someone who doesn’t know the people or the background (or have much of an interest) I had a blast! It doesn’t matter if you’ve ever had an interest in racing - this was so much fun!! There were people driving the cars with the pro in the passenger seat, people doing ride-alongs with the professional driving, and we even rode in an open limo on the track… This was a once-in-a-lifetime event for Dad, and he is over the moon happy about his experience! He got up today with a huge smile on his face and I am so thankful for the kind people we met yesterday. If you’re looking for a fun family activity for EVERYONE to enjoy - this is it!

Fantastic experience: How anyone could give less than a 5-star review to these folks is beyond comprehension. My experience with Team Texas was one of the single greatest of my life. Seriously. David... Kim... Amanda... George... Corey... These are just some of the names of the Team Texas people who work their tails off to make sure each customer has an amazing and safe experience. The efficiency with which they run this operation would be special, in and of itself, but the fact that they do it with such friendliness and kindness is what really sets them apart. And here was maybe the best part for me... We DID hit a little problem with my race day (nothing that ruined my experience, but a problem nonetheless). And that is when you get to see the real culture of a company. Team Texas, especially the fabulous Amanda and Kim, went way above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my entire experience. Mission accomplished. Stop holding off! Sign up and go race! It is worth every penny. But then again... How do you put a price on fulfilling a lifelong dream?

Fantastic experience: My grandchildren and I took a ride in the Team Texas driving school NASCAR limo at the Good-Guys Lonestar Nationals on 12/28/2024 toward the end of the show.. I wish I had the driver's name, I want to give a shout out to him. At one point during the ride he stopped in the turn 3/4 area of the track close to the outside wall so that people sitting on the passenger side could touch the wall. My 7 year old grandson could not quit touch. He made it a point to move a little closer to ensure the he could touch. For a 7 year old that made his day!!! David Star, I would like to thank that young man for his excellence in customer service.

Negative experience: Horrific greedy business. They had cars running past 1am on the track while condo residents couldn’t sleep. Owner is extremely rude.

Fantastic experience: My husband bought me the NASCAR driving experience for my birthday, and I had the time of my life!! I’m a little bit of an adrenaline junkie, so this was right up my alley. Team Texas has the most amazing customer service. From the emails/phone calls with Kim Starr the owner, Leading up to the day of my drive, until we left It was a five star experience. I had some serious nerves leading up to my drive time, but one of the team members, Destiny, and her sister helped put all my fears at ease. She would even come check on me once I got into the car, waiting for my instructor and ask if I needed any water, and continued to encourage me that I was going to do amazing and have so much fun. I then got to have my driving experience with an actual NASCAR driver, David Starr, the owner of Team Texas. He got me pumped up before hand and really helped challenge me if I felt up to it during my laps to give it my all and get the most out of my experience. I walked away with the biggest smile on my face, trying to soak in all the moments. I would highly encourage anyone and everyone if you have the opportunity to drive a NASCAR with team Texas High-Performance driving school. It’s an experience of a lifetime you will surely not regret!

Fantastic experience: I took a 3-lap ride in a NASCAR driven by a professional driver (David Star) and what an experience it was. Filled a bucket list for me, the noise, wind, speed and vibrations. It was an exhilarating experience to say the least. Honestly, it scared me half to death because I thought we were going around turns too fast. A well organized and an affordable experience. I am saving up and hoping for a Christmas present of driving one next time.

Fantastic experience: I drove both the Nascar Experience and Team Texas Driving Schools. I will not say anything bad about one or the other but you will see my choice going forward. Here's a few difference. NE = Nascar experience TT = Team Texas If you Drive NE - charges by the minutes 5,8,16,24,32,40 and 48. 5 minutes might get you 2 laps as the car has to build speed TT - charges by the laps 10,20 and so on. Rates as of today. NE - 8 minutes $439.99 Add Driver’s Fee + $44.99 Total: $484.98. TT - 10 Lap Driving School - $299 NE - spotter somewhere outside of car. To communicate you have to push button while driving, not the best practice for someone wanting to go fast and trying to focus on the track. TT- Instructor in passenger seat. TT - gets up to 10 cars on track at same time, the instructors work well together and allow you to pass safely. NE - Look like the actual Nascar. TT - These cars are purchased directly from NASCAR Xfinity and Cup teams like Robert Yates and Richard Childress Racing. 2 things I like - Authentic and more for less - I will be going to Team Texas in future. Not only cheaper for more laps but I believe in supporting local companies. I believe TT is under new ownership, I heard it stayed in the family and now current NASCAR driver David Starr is the owner / operator. Meaning its not just another NASCAR driver selling his name rights to a product and not involved. I actually got to meet and shake David Starr's hand. Because he's right there in the middle of pit road directing the show. Not sure how he does it, he tries to spend literally a second to shake your hand and say Hi while keep things in order. I doubt you well see Rusty Wallace, Richard Petty, and/or Mario Andretti in the trenches. The company that owns NE is based out of CONCORD, North Carolina. You can verify by searching " Who owns NASCAR Racing Experience?" Rusty Wallace Racing Experience - based out of Tennessee.

Negative experience: It's a fraudulent company. Avoid them.

Negative experience: I had called to reschedule due to my husband and I both having covid so close to our original date as we're both still trying to recover. Mike Starr actually told me 'nice attitude' when I asked for dates into 2022. He also kept saying an email was sent with all the info at the time of purchase, I never received that. The ticket came in an envelope alone with no additional information, after asking Mike Starr to resend email or give details on what to do and where to go the day of, he blocked my email

Negative experience: Was part of a corporate event here that got rained out. I called about rescheduling (as I wanted to do this last year) due to COVID and they were quick to shoot me down. There are several other driving schools out there, and I wanted to spend thousands with them doing another corporate event, but they must not want my business.

Fantastic experience: The experience was beyond our expectations. The staff were organized. "Safety first" was clearly evident.

Fantastic experience: What a complete and total hoot doing the 10 lap drive. All staff did a great job making sure safety was top of the list. The instruction I got from passenger seat made all the difference in the world. Cant wait to do it again now that I have a better understanding of what it takes to feel comfortable behind the wheel at 150...

Fantastic experience: Had a blast! Most fun I’ve had doing racing experiences. Got to pass several cars in a Tony Stewart 14 car with Mike Starrs son in the car as my copilot. Bunch of great guys who are hoping you get the most out of your experience. Well worth the money, you can get several driving packages that won’t break the bank. I wish Mike Starr would have a racing experience at all the Nascar tracks . Memories to last a lifetime. Truly thank you Team Texas!!

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience! Of course the cars were spectacular, but the best part was the instructors. They make you feel like one of the race team. They are GREAT at what they do. I’m definitely doing it again! Thanks so much for going the extra mile for us. God bless!

Fantastic experience: Super fun day and an awesome birthday present I received from my boyfriend. Mike the instructor is great and I couldn’t have asked for a better advisor in my car than Shane. From the time I stepped up to the car he made me feel at ease and that I was in good hands to drive 150 mph for 10 laps. Thanks Team Texas!!

Negative experience: We were season ticket holders and received a free ride along so we gave it to our son and bought a second for our future daughter in law. Be sure to read the release letter and make sure you’re willing to accept the consequences if you are involved in a crash. Also be aware that the passenger in the ride along does not (to my surprise) get the same protection as the driver. You are just in a seat belt harness and open face helmet with no window net. During my daughter in laws ride along her car crashed hitting the wall twice and bouncing around on the back side of turns 3 and 4 going approximately 160 miles an hour. The driver was unscathed but my daughter in law is now having to undergo her second back surgery. Just after the crash the people with Team Texas were very uncooperative and actually hid the car. They even refused to give our money back. They advised the ride was almost over. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital. She was 30 years old at the time. So just be sure you’re willing to give up your livelihood by signing that waiver. I’m sure there have not been very many crashes but when they happen it’s on you!! They really should provide better protection for the passengers - same as the driver. So think about that when you get into one of their cars. This particular car had had several issues previously per the driver the day of the crash. Those were his words standing beside the car after the crash.

Negative experience: This was a case of probably a bad apple ruining the complete experience for me. The instructor they have me was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience right from when I showed up at my car. That set the tone for the entire drive and rather than coming out of that car thinking that was one of the coolest things I've ever done I came out thinking that was a big waist of time and money. People are paying a lot of money for the experience they should have instructors just as passionate about the customer experience. Again, could be just be a bad apple but know you're running the chance of coming away with a miserable experience and feeling like you waisted precious money and time.

Fantastic experience: I did 20 laps with Team Texas and it was one of the most AWESOME experiences I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

Negative experience: Driving the car was a fun experience but the instructors was a different story. Walked in, walked up the the area were the guys were preping and asked where to sign in. The guy who did the lecture “Sharp” grabs me by the shoulders, physically turns me around, walked me across the front, turns me in front of the sign that says “ check in in the white trailer on pit row “ then turns around and walks off Really!!!! Wow. Can’t believe he did that. Putting your hand on someone else without their permission. Hmmm be careful with that !!!

Negative experience: The people running this are nice and the experience was great. Except for the part where we paid for something we did not receive. It was a certain video of the drive where the co-driver/instructor forgot to turn on the camera. No big deal, except we never got refunded for it, they just quietly pocketed the cash. So here we are. Be careful.

Fantastic experience: Mike and Tyler starr run an amazing business! Very efficient and fun experience. I would highly recommend you visit them at the Texas motor speedway. What an exhilarating driving experience!

Fantastic experience: I only stopped by to get some information as I have seen these guys operating on the Texas Motor Speedway track as we were competing on the inside track for the Lone Star Drift Series. They have a clean office and talented staff and seem to offer an awesome service! Team Texas Driving School is on my to do list.

Fantastic experience: So much fun! I did the 10 lap drive a few years ago and recently took my wife and father in law. Great crew, very safe considering, and definitely an adrenaline rush everyone can enjoy!

Positive experience: The ride at 160mph was A BLAST!!! I recommend it to everyone and anyone.. I think the people that are over Team Texas could have been more talkative and nice and less cocky but thru and thru it was such a great time and definitely a memory of a lifetime!!! I do have to say the guy that helped me in and out the car was a VERY nice guy but the rest of them need some people skills.

Fantastic experience: Being on the track with Team Texas is an incredibly thrilling experience. Even if you aren't into NASCAR or racing in general a ride in the passenger seat at 160mph will be something you'll never forget.
