SYEDA DRIVING SCHOOL: Reviews
Negative experience: She is the worst instructor I've seen - yelling at students during driving lessons and making them super anxious isn't exactly the best way to teach, is it?"
Negative experience: They are a total SCAM, I lost my money with them, if you are thinking of BUYING a license or TAKING classes there I am just WARNING you. people are very arrogant, disrespectful, starting with Syeda and ending with her staff. Very bad experience with them 0 recommended.
Fantastic experience: The instructor was the great person. She helped me out a lot through my driving lesson. I recommend this to anyone who lives in Virginia. Virginia .
Hi Sayed Ibrahimi, Thank you so much for the kind words. I try my best to make everyone experience safe and comfortable. Let’s know if there is anything we can do for you in the future. As we are here to help with all of your driving needs! Thanks again. Syeda
Negative experience: For anyone considering this driving school, I would advise you to look elsewhere. My experience here was extremely disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. From the start, Syeda was unpleasant and rude, which made me feel unwelcome as soon as I walked in. Kindness and patience are essential in a teaching role, especially where students need support. My message to Syeda: please be more professional and considerate. I am not angry at anyone in this place, nor I have anything against them. I also want to bring attention to an issue with this driving school’s information. They claim that a 16-year-old with a learner’s permit for 9 months is not eligible to take the behind-the-wheel test at the DMV. This is incorrect, as per DMV guidelines. I urge the local DMV to look in to this matter. Here is the link from the DMV that shows a 16-year-old with a permit can indeed go to the DMV and take the behind-the-wheel test: Virginia DMV Eligibility. I’m not writing this to be unkind, but rather to inform others so they can make an informed decision about this school.
At Syeda Driving School, we are committed to providing a supportive and professional learning environment for all of our students. We regret that you did not have a positive experience and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize if any interaction with our staff was perceived as unwelcoming. Our team strives to be courteous, patient, and professional at all times, and we take this feedback seriously as we continuously work to improve our customer experience.
Regarding the DMV eligibility requirements, we want to clarify the correct information. You mentioned that a 16-year-old with a learner’s permit for nine months is eligible to take the behind-the-wheel test at the DMV. However, even though you stated you would provide a link to support this claim, you did not.
For accuracy, here is an excerpt directly from the Virginia DMV website along with the official link:
Virginia DMV Eligibility (https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/licenses-ids/license/applying/eligibility)
Eligibility for First-Time Drivers Under 18:
✔ You must be a resident of Virginia.
✔ You must be at least 16 years and 3 months old.
✔ If you are under 18, you must complete a state-approved driver education program before obtaining a driver’s license.
A state-approved driver education program is the program completed with a driving school, where students pass the test and obtain their license. This requirement is clearly outlined by the DMV, and we ensure that all of our guidance aligns with official regulations.
We appreciate constructive feedback and encourage open communication. If there are any further questions or concerns, we are happy to discuss them directly. Thank you to all of our students and parents for trusting us with your driver education needs!

Negative experience: SYEDA is very rude and disrespectful . She doesn’t have customers service. She doesn’t know how to talk with customers. I recommend her to go get some classes to learn how to talk with customer. Never try to go there and learn from her it’s mean wasting your time and your money . They don’t teach driving . They just sell their driving certificate . I wish the county close their schools.
Hi OB. I don’t see you on my student list. We never issued licenses until we are sure that students are safe on the road. I have 22 years combined teaching experience and always brought safe driver on the road. Are you sure you are talking for Syeda from Syeda driving school or some other Syeda because you are not my student. Sorry
Negative experience: Syeda is the the worst instructor I have ever seen. She is so mean ,always busy with phone and family dramas on the phone during lessons very rude scares the new students yells at people make them more nervous. Money lover, multiple behavior with different people, dishonest I hate her.
Fantastic experience: She was very good with my daughter
Negative experience: I did Behind the Wheel. Not good behavior by the instructor not comfortable and relaxed. focused on her cell phone instead of student driving. west of my time and money
Fantastic experience: She is one of the best instructors, I enjoyed learning with her.
Fantastic experience: Thank you Syeda
You welcome Jessica. Drive safely
Negative experience: The worst driving school ever. I wish there was option to give her ZERO. Ms sayeda is the worst instructor and she is alway misogyny. She treats you bad and she being rude to you if you are a woman. She collect the money on the first class but miss must of your classes. My suggestion don’t trust this witch and misogyny woman. She will steal your money and won’t reach you anything. 24/7 she is on her phone talking she doesn’t concentrate on her student. Worst the rudest instructor especially if you are a WOMEN she will even been more RUDE and MIsOGYNY.
Negative experience: Very rude behaviors
Negative experience: I was not satisfied with my driving class. I appreciate the covid precautions that were taken wearing a mask and gloves. Ms.Syeda was not clear with the class details and payments. I had an impression that I would be taking 4 classes once registered. However, when I went for the class on April 7th she was told me that I had to schedule for each class while initial registration is done. Due to this she was upset and embarrassed me about the payment and was unprofessional with instructions. I was still ok and wanted to attend the next class and she said you have to schedule for the next class that would be next month due to all schedules booked by other students.
Negative experience: I don’t like the lady called Sayeda, she gave me a lesson in 2014 ,always yelling at me and making me nervous, you need someone to encourage you more not add more stress on you,I think she’s so scary and incompetent teacher, driving is fun and needs a brave heart.
Fantastic experience: Mrs Syeda made it easy to learn and was very polite . Would highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: I must say that was so happy with my instructor. She built my confidence up and made me feel so comfortable. I will be recommending everyone here. Always on time and so accommodating
Fantastic experience: Ms syeda is a very professional person and she always maintains a great and safe way for those she helps on the road! Keep up the great work.
Fantastic experience: Mrs. Sayeda is very nice and helpful , I recommend her for every one who wants to learn how to drive
Positive experience: I would just like to say that several times driving on I 95, I have seen your cars. The left lane is a passing lane and under no circumstances should your drivers be in the left lane. Please teach them all of the rules of the road and courtesy. I understand this is a very difficult area to learn to drive in.
Fantastic experience: Ms. Syeda really helped one of my family members 10/10 recommend
Fantastic experience: Very nice and helpful
Fantastic experience: Mrs. Syeda is really nice and very helpful and is always giving out great tips. I recommend her for anyone who wants to learn how to drive.
Fantastic experience: She helped my wife get her driving license, now my is a very good driver. we are very happy from Miss Sayeda. Thank You
Negative experience: Worst customer service ever. They lady in the front desk I assume her name was Usra she doesn’t have clue on how to behave with customers. That was the world bad experience. For a second I thought why I should stay there. She had really bad attitude I don’t know how to describe the situation but I believe she disrespected and treated us really bad. Thanks God we talk to Miss Sayeda and she could handle the situation. Never go to office of this school if you have to talk to Miss Sayeda first. Oh my god ...... We are really disappointed I believe Shoma
